My Dad's 70th Birthday Card...
Not the best photo in the world...but then it was taken on the back seat of the car as we pulled up at my Dad's house on Saturday morning...
So the card is using one of the old Pollycraft digi images called Beer Monster which I coloured with Copics using the following colours...
YG00/YG01/YG03/YG05/YG07/R37/B91/B93/B95/B97/Y21/Y26/Y28
The dartboard is a stamp by Inca Stamps and the papers are all Echo Park Little Boy which I layered with red and black cardstock, added some Thickers for the "70" and "Dad" and a Craftwork Cards sentiment. The Beer Monster has also had googly eyes added...trust me my Dad had eyes just like those when his birthday party was over on Saturday...

"No Lines" Colouring Technique...
So you may has seen/heard about the "no lines" colouring technique. I had finally decided to have a try...it looks difficult...but this week I challenged myself to have a go, and today I am sharing my results.
I took one of the new Magnolia stamps...she is called Love Love Love Tilda. I have stamped her three times onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock with three different coloured Memento Inks...left to right...Tuxedo Black, London Fog & Summer Sky.
Each image was coloured with Copics using the same colours so that you get a direct comparison. I am not sure which of them I prefer and that is pretty much down to personal preference...when I asked my daughter she liked the left hand image in the conventional Tuxedo Black...as for me, I am undecided.
So here is the card I made with the image...well one of them...and after all my hard work I had to use the "no lines" version...

Rock On!
I finally made a card after have a break forced on me due to a bad back...
I have used the MFT Die-namics Rock & Roll die set with some scraps of Bazzill Kraft (base & stars) & Bling (flames) cardstock. The papers are a mixture of different My Minds Eye On the Bright Side - One (denim piece), Happier (orange piece), Lime Twist (star & teal pieces), and Basic Grey Basics Kraft paper pad. I have embellished with a few metal studs and letters a pack of My Minds Eye letters in the Follow Your Heart Up & Away range.
To make the flames more dimensional I have added some red chalk ink to the edges, and distressed all the papers which hopefully add to the masculine feel of the card...and I even have a recipient in mind for this one...
Will be back tomorrow with another card...

Prima Mixed Media Doll Stamp...
Tracy @ Dies to Die For recently took delivery of the Prima Mixed Media Doll Stamps....and I was lucky enough to find one in the my DT pack....You can find here HERE. I stamped her onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock with a Tuxedo Black Memento Ink pad and coloured her skin and hair with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - 100/C3
I then stamped her again onto patterned paper from the Teresa Collins Now & Then 6x6 paper pad. I used a luggage tag from any stationery shop and added the papers from the pad, together with a doily and some gorgeous lace ribbon and seam binding and a flower. The words have been cut from one of the sheets of paper in the pad.
I have found a fab Pinterest board showing so many fab examples with this stamp...will definitely be making some more.

It's Gorjuss O'Clock!
I know I disappeared again without showing you some of the cards I made while I was missing last time...in my defence I had two migraines in the past week...
So here is another of the Gorjuss Girl cards I made, this one using a kling mounted Gorjuss Girls (she is called The White Rabbit) which I have stamped onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock with Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and coloured with Copics. The papers are all Teresa Collins Now & Then layered with some black Bazzill Cardstock. I added a little Bakers Twine a clock face charm and a Craftwork Cards sentiment.
It's been a while since I coloured one of these girls, but I think I will have to pull another out and get colouring....they are so nice to colour...and people seem to love to receive cards with them on....I know I do!
Will come back very soon with another creation to show you...maybe even a Smash* Book page.

Loving all things Teresa Collins...
I just love all the Teresa Collins lines out at the moment...I bought four of the new paper pads and am still loving the Everyday Moments pad from last year...
So here are a couple of cards I made for Dies to Die For that both feature Teresa Collins....
So the card above I made last week for the DTDF Blog and it features a Gorjuss Girl called Poppy Wood. I stamped her onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and coloured her with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - W5/W7/W9
Clothing - R27/R29/W5/W7
I created the background spooky looking woods using a Tim Holtz Black Soot Distress Ink Pad.
The papers were all from the Teresa Collins Stationery Noted paper pad layered with Bazzill cardstock in one of the reds (cannot remember which one). I added some Washi tape, a bow, bling and a Craftwork Cards sentiment to finish off.
The next card was made using a pad from 2012 called Everyday Moments and until the newer releases...this was my favourite of her lines.
So I just used papers from the Everyday Moments pad and I was also lucky enough to receive three sheets of awesome Die-cuts from the range from my amazing friend Damaris in the USA. All I then added was some lace, Bakers Twine, a paperclip and Craftwork Cards sentiment.
I will be back tomorrow with a couple of other projects that I have worked on over the last few weeks/months...

So I finally
decided to ink up on of the recent stamps from The Greeting Farm called Anya
Styles...She was stamped using
Memento Ink in Tuxedo
Black onto Craftwork
Cards Digital Cardstock, and coloured with Copics. The papers are all by
Echo Park from the Yours
Truly pad (last years Valentines range). As soon as I saw her I thought of
Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe" so added that to the journal card from that
range....with a little Dymo added to finish the sentiment off. The banner was
also done with bits from the same line and added with some Bakers Twine called
Divine
Twine in Peppermint. Anya has been trimmed and added to the card using 3D
foam pads.

DTDF - Anya Celebrates...
Today I want to share I card I made with the new larger Anya stamps from The Greeting Farm. This one is called Anya Celebrates and I have stamped her onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock with Memento Ink in Tuxedo Black. I have coloured her with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/R11/R20
Hair - E23/E25/E27
Clothing - R81/R83/W0/W2/W3/W5
Present - BG10/BG11/BG13/W5/W7/R37/R39
The papers are all Best Creation Sweet 16 6x6 paper pad (they aren't showing online...so email Tracy). They are a mix of fab pink/aqua/black papers they are all double sided...one side is glittery and the other plain...there are even die-cut pages, which I have then layered with some Bazzill Black cardstock. I have embellished with some black tulle, a couple of pins, a Craftwork Card sentiment and a Prima bling corner. I have also used one of the gorgeous Inkadinkado wooden quote stamp called Ten Normal Days (these are very hard to find in the UK...and Tracy has the widest selection).

Mini Christmas Cards...
I so need to get started making some Christmas Cards, so when Tracy
@ Dies to Die For sent me a set of The Greeting Farm stamps....I got cracking...
These are very small cards by Craftwork Cards and using one of the stamps from the Holiday Blessings set and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, I stamped out the background. I then took each of the other three stamps from the set and using the same ink stamped them onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock. I coloured the images with Copics using R37/YG11/Y32/Y28 and added some Stickles to each image. I then mounted each image onto some scraps of red cardstock and added 3D foam pads to each one. I finished off each card with a little My Minds Eye Washi Tape (this came from Tracy but I cannot see it in the shop at the moment).
Here is a closer look of the one hiding in the picture above.
These stamps are a quick way to make your Christmas Cards...they are perfect for Kids to give to their school friends.

Not Another Daybook!!!!!
OK, so it is another Daybook...what can I say...I am hooked!
I made this one for Georgia as she wanted to make an album about our camping trip to Wales back in August. For this one we used some Hambly Acetate over the Bazzill Kraft cardstock. The papers inside are all Echo Park Sweet Summertime, the banner sticker that I used on the front and inside cover is from the sticker sheet that co-ordinates with the range. As you can see on this one I have handsewn the book using embroidery floss. I made the holes with a pricking tool and a foam mat. I really like this method, and the book seems to hold together well too.
I still have a couple more that I will show you over the weekend.
I also wanted to add a BIG Thank You to my followers....I was chuffed this week when I finally reached the 900 mark...and now I am at 902.....think I need to put together a fab giveaway when I reach 1000!
