This month over on the Dies to Die For Blog our Die-ing for a Challenge theme is Anything Goes. For my card I decided to put the stamps and Copics aside and use my dies...

I have used the Die-namics Fishtail Stax, Nestabilities Ovals and the Scalloped Oval dies, Lil' Inker Designs Cloud Dies and Mini Pinwheel Die. The papers are all My Minds Eye Summer Splash. The stamped sentiment is also by Lil' Inker Designs and is from the Pinwheel Sentiment Stamp Set.

Cute Card Thursday - Clean & Simple!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog our theme is Clean & Simple...not something that I do on a regular basis..

For my card I have used all thing Craftwork Cards as I think there products really lend themself to a clean, simple and elegant card. I have used their Stardust cardstock the patterned papers are also by Craftwork Cards called Tres Chic (not available anymore) as is the frame diecut. The Eiffel Tower was cut with a Die-namics Die available HERE out of glitter paper/cardstock and finished off with a Craftwork Cards sentiment and some black tulle.

Be sure to check out the challenge and the rest of the DT's creations.

Dies to Die For - Sassy Emma!

Hello, so sorry I have not been here for the last few days but I am back this morning to share some of my weekends crafty endeavours...I stupidly decided to have a crafty sort out a couple of weeks ago....and it is still a work in progress for a self confessed hoarder!!!

So on to the card I am showing you today...

I have used one of the new CC Designs images called Sassy Emma which I have stamped onto Craftwork Cards Digital Cardstock using Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and coloured with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E23/E25/E27
Clothing - C0/R37/R39/B91/B93/B95
On to the same piece of cardstock that I stamped the main image on, I have added an Inkadinkado sentiment called Don't Grow Old using Versafine Oynx Black Ink. The papers are all My Minds Eye On the Bright Side - One which I have layered with some red cardstock (not sure who it is by...but you can find red cardstock HERE). I have embellished with a little bling, a little string and a flower made with the Die-namics Loopy Bloom die, and a scrap of denim from an old pair of my daughters jeans. I works just as well...if not better when used to cut felt (of which Tracy has a selection HERE).

Don't forget you have a couple more days to enter the current challenge...as we will be back on the 18th with a brand new one...You can find the challenge details HERE.

Saturated Canary Challenge - Spring Flowers!

It's that time again...time for a new Saturated Canary Challenge...and this time the theme is May Flowers.

For my card I have used an image called Queenie and Princess, Krista has closed down her Etsy store as she has a wonderful new website opening very very soon...and I am pretty confident this cute image will be back in stock then. I have coloured it with Copics using the following colours...
Skin - E000/E00/E11/R20
Hair - E23/E25/E27/E29
Eyes - B21/B66
Clothing - BG10/BG11/BG13/RV/29/RV32/RV34/Y28
The papers are all LilyBee Designs Victoria Park which I have layered with some Bazzill Smoothie cardstock. I created the flower with the Die-namics Loopy Bloom die using a piece of felt (the colour is actually more pink than it seems in the picture...more like the papers). I added a little black tulle around the card and added a sentiment stamp by WRMK.

Be sure to check the challenge out HERE...there are some lush cards created by the DT...truly stunning.

Cute Card Thursday - Sketch Time!

This week over on the Cute Card Thursday Challenge Blog we have a sketch for you to follow...
And here is my card using the sketch...
The papers are My Minds Eye Lush Orange Damask (flocked), Memory Box Distressed Dots Liquorice, Memory Box Gingham Liquorice,  Memory Box Gingham Mango. I have layered them all with Bazzill cardstock in Raven. I have added some black spotted ribbon a Craftwork Cards sentiment, a PaperMania butterfly, and a looped bloom that I created using the Die-namics Loopy Bloom die and some random fabric that I believe was a cushion cover from Ikea that I got in the bargain basement section to which I have added a little string tied in bows.

I know it is a little different from me....no Copics or image....I just fancied trying something different. So be sure to pop on over to the Cute Card Thursday blog and join in the fun.
