My 5 year old, Ariana, is such a Girly Girl.
When I asked her
if she would like me
to make her her a fun
Hello Kitty Hair Tie
to match her new
Hello Kitty tennis shoes, she was thrilled.
I started with a
Hello Kitty 1.5" Fabric Covered Button
from the
Pinque Peacock Shop.

Next, I grabbed my FANTASTIC
3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon in colors that
coordinated with the Image on the Button:
Cherry Lipstick
Tuxedo Black
Dress White
Holly Berry
and
Baby Girl
I decided the eyelet back would serve as an excellent
anchor to feed my ribbon through.
I fed the ribbon through the eyelet one at a time
to prevent from causing it to bunch up or get frayed.
as well as help secure the rubber band
towards the end of the project.
Once those were in place,
I added some fun accent beads
and metal spacers
to the ends of the ribbon
for a little extra GIRLY PIZAZZ!!!!
I simply tied a knot to hold the beads onto the ribbon ends.
(Notice the colors of Ariana's outfit....LOL...she LOVES pink)
