Vintage Flare

I thought that I would create a vintage looking card today.
It is not my typical go to style.  Switching up your normal can boost your crafting mojo!

With so many amazing products from 3 Girl JAM,
it was easy to layer and layer!

Supplies:

Just a quick tip:
I found that Craft Glue Dots ® work GREAT at adhering bulkier embellishments like the buttons, jute, or that flower I made using Navy ribbon.  You can learn how to make it yourself by checking out the tutorial on my blog.

Thanks so much for keeping time here today.
Come check out my other creations at Sunnyside Up!

Pretty in Pink

Hello everyone!
I'm so excited to share a sweet altered gift that I created that is just full of LOVE.
This is a chipboard coaster that I inked up and layered with some frilly goodness.
I added the triangle hanger so this could easily be hung on the wall.
The size is 4"x4" and that sweet stamp was borrowed from my mom's collection.
I love how the pleated lace gives this piece such a feminine look and it goes perfectly with the baby girl pink crinkle ribbon and stick pin too.
You can find that Lace and Ribbon in the 3 Girl JAM Shop.
AND you can pick up a generous 10% off when you shop by using the code DB10 at the check out!
Thanks for letting me be part of your Valentine's Day!
Hope you get to spend it with the one you love…and I also hope you'll join us for our
"Things I Love" February Challenge!

Have a happy day today!

"Love in a Jar"

Nicole here today with a card I made for Valentine's Day using some of the newer products to the 3 Girl JAM store - colored lace (soon to be released) and jute string.

Here is a closer shot of the pink lace and the navy jute string.  I used some scor tape on the back of the jar lid to adhere my lace and then folded it over to give it a ruffled look.  This is one of the thinner laces and I chose to use it so that it didn't cover up all of my hearts in my jar.  I just love the "homemade" touch it gives to the mason jar.

For more info on my card, please visit my BLOG.  Thanks for stopping by today.  I hope you have been enjoying the sneak peeks of the colored lace that is about to make its debut in the 3 Girl JAM store.

Pretty Valentine Treat bag by Marji

I used 3 different colors of alcohol ink bottles and just dropped them randomly over the dry bag.  I then soaked the bag with alcohol and rolled it up, squeezing it all over to help distribute the color a bit.  After about an hour I rinsed it out then laid it out to dry over night.
The next day I got out one of my My Favorite Things stamp sets and some regular dye based ink pads and stamped away.
I used hot glue to adhere the lace flowers to the bag as well as add the pearl centers.

Are you curious what I will do with it?  It contains Emily's Valentines day treats.  It holds a lot, she will be thrilled!
Isn't it pretty?  I SO love how it turned out, I'm proud of myself, I have been really intimidated by these bags and have gotten rid of quite a few over the years because I never knew what to do.

Just a Little Sweeter

Hey there and Happy FRIDAY!
Donna K here with my very first post as a 2014 Design Team member
right here on the 3 Girl JAM blog!
I'm pretty excited about the chance to show you one of the brand new treasures that you will soon be able to get your crafty little hands on.
How do you love that wide lace ribbon?…..Seriously…. I swoon!!!
I layered that gorgeous lace ribbon {it's approximately 2" wide!} with some fabulous crinkle ribbon and wound it around as the band for my double Z fold card to hold it in place.
The inside is stamped with my sentiment and I will probably just sign my name to this one..I think this card is just right as is.
Along with the card…
A muslin bag all dressed up and filled with chocolates …
a simple, SWEET Valentine.

You can find the bags…and the ribbons {new items coming SOON} and a wonderful selection of buttons right here!
If you're already in the mood for shopping…be sure to use the code DB10 at the check out, that little tidbit will save you 10% in the 3GirlJAM shop!
Thanks for letting me share with you today.
