Mixing up some love

I made this fun step card and set of recipe cards using the adorable mix it up set.  I really like the colors of this set and utilized the digital papers that came with it.
I used a file from the SIL store to cut my card shape and it's layers, printing all the pieces out using the patterns and colors in the set.
I added a cute bow from the baby bundle since it matched so well.

I found these tiny forks at Target in the dollar bins, so I punched holes in the cards then threaded the same ribbon through as a binding.

C'est La Vie Mini Album

Hi guys Nicole here today and  I have a mini album to share with you that I made for one of my dance student's graduation gift.  My student is going to France for a year abroad and I thought she could use this as a keepsake album afterwards.  This is only my 2nd ever mini album and I have to say even though they are time consuming, they are lots of fun and I hope to make several more in the near future!!

I used the following 3 Girl JAM crinkle ribbon colors for my album - daffodil from the Spring Flowers bundlebaby boy from the Baby bundle, and aqua splash from the Carribean Splash bundle. I just fed them through an eyelet and tied them into a big, floppy bow.  I have included a few pictures as well as a video of my album for you to look at.

For more information including pictures of the inside of the album as well as a video of my album, please stop by my BLOG.  Don't forget to use code NE10 to get 10% off of your 3 Girl JAM products!!

Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Julie O, here from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers today. Since I'm lucky enough to post on Thanksgiving, I knew I had to have some Thanksgiving inspiration for the holiday.  I went searching through the Silhouette online store and found this fun cutting file, perfect for the occasion.

I used lots of different ribbons on this colorful turkey shaped card-- as you can tell!  Working from right to left, I used Harvest Orange (Harvest Bundle)Witches Brew purple (Spooky Bundle), Baby Blue (Baby Bundle), Hot Chocolate (Hot & Cold Bundle), Merlot (Wine & Jewels Bundle), Aqua Splash (Caribbean Splash Bundle), Coral Crush (Caribbean Splash Bundle), Ice Blue (Hot and cold Bundle), Iris (Spring Flowers Bundle), Cherry Lipstick (Pink & White Bundle) and London Blue (Wine & Jewels bundle).
To find out more details about this card, and to see what else I've been working on, please visit my blog.

Dorothy Thank You Card

Happy Labor Day Monday!!  Nicole here, I hope you are having an excellent holiday weekend and are finding some free moments to craft!  I know I have been crafting quite a bit this weekend and one of my projects is this cute Dorothy card that I made for a special thank you.  My youngest daughter was Dorothy in their school play "Ease on Down the Road".  We borrowed a Dorothy costume from a family friend and I wanted a special card to go with the return of her costume.  As you can probably guess, this is something I have needed to do for awhile now since school has been out for months - so it was time to "get 'er done",

I added a bow made with both 3 Girl JAM "Ice Blue" and "Baby Boy" crinkle ribbon.  Thanks for stopping by today - for more details on my card feel free to visit my BLOG.

ATC Holders

This is Cheri from DJ's Sundries and I have been posting a few ATC's lately.  I wanted to make a holder to carry them in my purse so that I can give them out to people that I come into contact with.  I designed this little holder that I think will be perfect.  I grabbed some 3 Girl JAM Witch's Brew and Baby Boy ribbon and went to work.

I also needed some adhesive and the perfect paper.  The 6X6 pattern pad and the 8X8 paper pad from Graphic 45's "Secret Garden" collection fit the bill exactly.

The patterned paper was cut at 7" wide by 6" tall.  Score lines were placed at 3.5" and then along the bottom at 2".  The lines were folded and the edges were adhered to form a pocket.

As you can see, ATC's fit perfectly inside of the pockets.

If you head over to my blog by clicking here, you can view a step-by-step video tutorial.  You will also see information regarding a giveaway that I am hosting that you will want to join.  Thanks for stopping by and remember to take some time to enjoy the little things today.

Congratulations Sweet Baby Card

Hi Friends. Abby here with ScrappinAbby and I have a really sweet baby congratulations card to share with all of you. A friend of mine at work just found out that she is going to be a grandma. This is her daughter's first pregnancy and I've made some crafty things for her before for their wedding last summer. So since this is such a happy occasion for her, I wanted to create a card for Heather congratulating her on journey into motherhood.

For this card I used some of sweet Baby Boy and Baby Girl Crinkle Ribbon from the Baby Bundle along with a bit of the Latte ribbon from the from newly released Coffee Bundle from 3 Girl JAM.

I love mixing the different Crinkle Ribbons from all the bundles that 3 Girl JAM has to offer.

If you don't have any of these colors in your ribbon stash..be sure to head over to the 3GJ Store and get some today. I hope you enjoyed my card & I can't wait to put this in the mail for Heather. I will have additional photos & a short video on my blog which you can check out HERE.

Thanks for stopping by the 3 Girl JAM blog and Happy Crafting!!

Treats That'll Make Your Heart Flutter

Good Morning Everyone!  Rebecca reporting in to show you what I've been up to when I've had a little  down time.

This morning I'm here to get your creative juices going!  It's really getting chilly over here in the North East and a good workout is just what's needed.

A crafty workout, that is.

SOOOOoooOOOO - Let me start with a confession...

I LOVE CHOCOLATE.

And..I need every excuse I can think of to justify buying bags of delicious pink, red, and white package confections.

And I package it up to tempt EVERYONE around me.

Whatcha Think? Good Plan?

I used several a couple different crinkle ribbons on these treats.

ICE BLUE from the Hot and Cold Bundle
GOBLIN GREEN from the Spooky Bundle
BABY BOY from the Baby Bundle

Hope I tempted you into making one for yourself (and then opening it up and EATING it!)

HA!

Have a great day!

Seeing Stars

Hello ALL,  Jessica here.
Today is my day as a Featured Designer
and
as I always share
how super excited I am
to play with all of the 3 Girl JAM
products available,
this project is no exception!!!

And don't forget to link up your
Anything Goes (w/ Ribbon) Projects
to the
3 Girl JAM #4 Challenge

This is the first chance I got
to play with the wonderful
Teresa Collings - Sweet Afternoon
papers and embellishments.

To begin, I created some fun
3-D stars using my Tablescapes -Spring and Summer
Cricut Cartridge.
I used medium grade chipboard
and cut the stars at 5".

I wanted to get out as much 3 Girl JAM product as possible
to use on this project.

I gathered a few coordinating colors of Crinkle Ribbon
and fun Triple Thick, 12 Strand Twine.
I didn't get to use the twine, like I had planned though :(
Maybe next week :)
Along with a few matching
resins, bling and other embellishments.

Here are the stars after being covered
with the beautiful papers.

I originally planned to pleat the crinkle ribbon
along the inner corners of each star.  But that proved to be quite
difficult when I tried to use my ATG gun.
So, I improvised by twirling the ribbon
and using some Glue Dots and Zots
to line the inner corners instead.
I used the following colors of 3 Girl JAM Ribbon
Baby Girl Pink
Baby Boy Blue
Antique White
Sunflower Yellow
and
Christmas Candy

Here is the finished Mobile
and some close up shots
 of the 3-D stars.

There are a lot more details at my personal blog, Jessica's Craft Shaque,
if you would like to read up on how this Star Mobile
was created.

Thank you so much for stopping in today
and
be sure to stop over to
the
3 Girl JAM Blog to stock up
on all the inspirational projects and creations
that have been shared
by all of the Design Team members
and Guest Designer.
