Outdoorsman Ornament with 3 Girl JAM!

Hi Friends! Abby here with ScrappinAbby and today I have a holiday project to share with all of you. Each year we have a family tradition of selecting or making an ornament for each other. So this year I again made ornaments for my hubby, daughter and son. This project is the one I made for Steve (my hubby). He is a total outdoorsman and love to hunt and fish. So I made him an antler ornament for our 2014 Family Christmas tree.

I also have a short video that shows you the project up close along with the 3GJ goodies I used...

Here are the ribbons & trims I used...
New Holiday Trim-Gold Cording
Hot & Cold Bundle-Hot Chocolate

I love how this masculine project turned out and I can't wait to show it to my hubby. The Gold Cording and Hot Chocolate go so well with the outdoors theme I was going for.

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ Blog today and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project.

I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas and Happy Crafting!!!

Fall Harvest Time Tag

Hi Friends! Abby here with ScrappinAbby and today I have a super fun Fall Harvest tag to share with all of you. I was able to play with some of the new Holiday Trim that is now in the 3 Girl JAM store.

I used the following 3 GJ goodies on this tag....

Holiday Trim-Gold Cording

Royal Bundle-Gold Crown

Hot & Cold Bundle-Hot Chocolate

I absolutely LOVE the new Holiday Trim that Julie has in the store. The gold cording is so much fun to use and incorporate into the tag. Love how it just peeks out of the flower cluster.

Be sure to head over to the 3 Girl JAM Store and pick up some of the new Holiday Trim and use it on your Fall projects.

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ blog today and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project.

Happy Turkey Day!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Julie O, here from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers today. Since I'm lucky enough to post on Thanksgiving, I knew I had to have some Thanksgiving inspiration for the holiday.  I went searching through the Silhouette online store and found this fun cutting file, perfect for the occasion.

I used lots of different ribbons on this colorful turkey shaped card-- as you can tell!  Working from right to left, I used Harvest Orange (Harvest Bundle)Witches Brew purple (Spooky Bundle), Baby Blue (Baby Bundle), Hot Chocolate (Hot & Cold Bundle), Merlot (Wine & Jewels Bundle), Aqua Splash (Caribbean Splash Bundle), Coral Crush (Caribbean Splash Bundle), Ice Blue (Hot and cold Bundle), Iris (Spring Flowers Bundle), Cherry Lipstick (Pink & White Bundle) and London Blue (Wine & Jewels bundle).

Brown Paper Bag and Coffee Filter ~~~GIFT BAG~~~

Hey there Blends and 3 Girl JAM-mers

Jessica B, here today
for my Design Team Day and
I am sharing a fun little tutorial on
how to turn a simple coffee filter
and brown paper lunch bag
into a Marvelous Gift Bag
with the help of some
3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon
and
other products.

If you are up to creating something amazing
and plan to use Ribbon,
you should LINK UP to the

ANYTHING GOES WITH RIBBON

Now, onto the project sharing ;) . . .

I made this Get Well Bag a while ago
when my Sweet Friend Forever (SFF), Heather Lynn
was not doing so well and
was making many trips to the Hospital.
She was very ill and I just wanted to do something
to brighten her days!

First I stamped the Brown Bag using
this beautiful Wishing Well and Sentiment Stamp Duo by SweetStamps
and some Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink.

Next I took my coffee filter and gave it a good "wrinkle up".
As it was balled up (with zero uniform....lol), I lightly dabbed
parts of it in an array of Fall Colored Distress Inks.  I
turned the filter inside out and wrinkled it up a few more times,
following the same steps with each color of ink.

After the inking was done, I folded it into a cone shape
and trimmed the ends (roughly, and again without uniform)
using my zig zag shears.

After placing the gift inside the bag, I folded the paper bag
down a few times, then placed the coffee filter
over the top and used Glue Dots to hold it in place.

To accent the bright colors on my filter, I chose to use
Hot Chocolate Crinkle Ribbon
from the Hot & Cold Bundle
and tied it in a knot with two tails of ribbon dangling.

The small flower adorning the ribbon
is from the Pinque Peacock Shop.

This is a quick and easy way to create
a unique and personal gift bag for any occasion.

Now, before you leave, I want to share another quick project
I created over the weekend.

I used one of the darling Muslin Bags
by Stateline Bag Co., which you can purchase
at the 3 Girl JAM Shop as well!!!

~WONDERFUL WISHES~

Hey Hey Hey 3 Girl JAMMERS!  Jessica here from Jessica's Craft Shaque to share my Design Team Project with you today.

The Wonderful 3 Girl JAM Crinkle Ribbon never fails to lend it valuable inspiration when I am crafting "under the wire".  With the 4 kids starting school last week, I have found very little time to breath let alone craft.  So when I needed to crunch down in the craft room, I knew I wouldn't be let down when I reached into my scrumptious Rainbow of Crinkle Ribbons to start!

The ribbon colors I chose for this project included the yummy Hot Chocolate, Antique White, and Gold Crown

I used this crafty opportunity to create a card for my sweet friend, and probably many of yours' as well, Heather Lynn, who battled with a long stay at the hospital recently.  She has made her way back home, but has a lot of recovery ahead of her.  I love her dearly, and wanted to show her how much I AM WISHING for her to be surrounded with ONLY WONDERFUL EVERYTHING.

I pleated the ribbon to bring my two papers to a perfect seam, but the beautiful pleats are a bit hidden behind the stamped flower image.

So, I created a fun Ribbon Flower using all three colors as well.  This style flower is available in my shop at Pinque Peacock if you would like to custom order your own.  The Fabric Buttons in the centers of the stamped flowers can also be found at Pinque Peacock.

I am happy to partner with Julie, 3 Girl JAM Owner and Founder, to create these lovely floral embellishments and I really enjoy using them on my own personal projects. (Plus, I have more excuses to play with my FAVORITE CRINKLE RIBBON EVER!  HOO-RAH!

If you would like to order any of the colors I have used on my project today, I made sure I provided links for you to hop over to the 3 Girl JAM Shop and grab some for yourselves!

Happy Crafting!!!

I'm So Proud Of You Card

Hi Friends! Abby here with ScrappinAbby and I'm happy to share a card I created for a good friend of mine using some of the yummy Crinkle Ribbon from 3 Girl JAM .
I wanted to play around with different patterns and colors on this card so I used 4 different papers and 3 Crinkle Ribbons from 3 different bundles. I really like how it turned out : )

Here's a short video that shows you the card up close along with the crinkle ribbons I used...

Some additional photos....
I love how the Hot Chocolate from the Hot & Cold Bundle and the Aqua Splash from the Caribbean Splash Bundle crinkle ribbons work so well together.
I wanted to continue the mix of patterned paper on the inside as well so I did a collage type layer and topped it off with more of the yummy 3GJ crinkle ribbon.

I hope you enjoyed my project today and I encourage you to mix up the different crinkle ribbons from the many bundles you have to choose from.

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ blog and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project.

Happy Crafting!!

Sweet Friend Valentine Card

Hey everyone...Abby aka ScrappinAbby here with another fun project using some of the yummy 3GJ Crinkle Ribbon.

I made this super sweet Valentines Day card using two chipboard hearts and some of the Holly Berry, Christmas Candy and Hot Chocolate crinkle ribbon. The chipboard hearts are part of a mini album that I took apart so I could use the hearts for this card...I love how it turned out...

Really liking how the three different ribbons blend together so nicely.

I love how much texture you get from simply layering the crinkle ribbon.

No better way accent a "sweet" sentiment than with some Christmas Candy crinkle ribbon!

I am really loving how this card turned out and the Crinkle Ribbon is really what makes this card.

Thanks for stopping by the 3GJ blog today and for checking out another ScrappinAbby project : )
