Mob law at Dickinson College.

--The ancient institution of learning at Carlisle, Pa., has yielded obedience to the dictates of a lawless mob. Dickinson College has for many years past been supported principally by students from Maryland and Virginia, and quite a number of young men from the South have been there during the present session; but — as we are informed by a reliable correspondent — the mob, which triumphs over everything else in the North, has forced every student suspected of Southern sentiments to "secede" from its limits. They forced peaceable citizens to hang out the United States flag, and ordered the students to display one on the College building, to which the Southern boys could not respond. The consequence of their disobedience was that they had to leave the town, with a volley of brickbats and stones mingling confusedly around their heads. Every day brings fresh evidence of the intense hatred of the Northern people towards the South. We must demand an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.
