Useful.

--Amongst the many inconveniences of life may be enumerated Corns and Bunions, in themselves the cause of great annoyance and anguish, but which neglected, or treated by empirical or unskillful operators, lead, in many instances, to deformity or lameness, and not unfrequently to lockjaw or death; but when treated by a skillful surgeon they are easily removed, without pain or danger.

Such an operator has been in Richmond for the last month, and has won golden opinions from many of our citizens, upon whose understanding he has effected some remarkable cures. Dr. Schlosser, to whom we allude, is a surgeon of European education and reputation, who has made diseases of the feet his speciality, and by study and constant practice has arrived at rare proficiency in his profession. He will remain a few days longer at the Spotswood Hotel.
