Strange Affair.

--Henry Taylor, who resides in Alexandria, Va., has been unable to sleep for several months, in consequence of unearthly noises in the wainscotting of his room. On Friday night ‘"something"’ struck his bedpost, and the next morning, candle in hand, he rummaged in the recess behind the wainscotting formed by the caves of the building, and found the bodies of two children, (infants,) cased in lime, and wrapped in newspapers. No clue to the mystery has been elicited.
