Musaic Box HD App Review

My favorite apps are the apps that my kids can play as long as they want and I don’t feel guilty. I see too many shoot em up, racing and fighting video games that are not kid friendly. The right kid app must be educational, fun, kid safe and well designed. Musaic Box HD brings classical music into a puzzle oriented app game that teaches, inspires and enlightens with beautiful music. The artwork and imagery on the app are probably the best I have seen to date! And on top of this the app is fun and entertaining at every level!

You solve the music puzzles by piecing together classic music bits by ear. The music on the iPad is so clear and beautiful and you can get lost in the classic musical setting. Like I mentioned before, my kids can spend as much time as they want in this app.

Here are some screenshots from my Musaic Box HD experience:

More from the app:
- 27 universally recognizable melodies.
- High quality graphics optimized for the Retina display.
- Different ways of solving every melody.
- 5 rooms with Hidden Object elements, in which you can find clues to solve the more difficult melodies.

Baby Adopter App Review

When my friends were sophomore in high school they had a class that taught them how to raise a baby. They actually packed around a 10 pound sack of rice for 1 week and were required to keep it with them at all times. They learned all the basics of feeding, clothing and caring for a child. Yes, you guessed it; there is now an app for that and a very remarkable app. You can select your cute baby that does not look like a sack of rice. The baby grows, changes moods and can acquire things like a crib, playroom and toys.

Both my daughters are addicted to the app and check it constantly. They love the concept of taking care of a virtual baby and the life like requirements of a virtual baby. The sound effects are really cute. You hear splashing when you give you baby a bath for example.

Here are some screenshots from the app:

Puppet Masterpiece Theatre App Review

I love original and unique child stories. I sat down with my little girl to experience Puppet Masterpiece Theatre by Organa. The color, artwork, characters and voices are simply charming on all levels. She would move the puppets around the screen and was completely engaged with the story about friendship. The characters are straight from a child’s imagination and something every child will gravitate to.

The story is broken with interactive games that include puzzles, painting, mazes, etc. Instead of just listening or reading a story my daughter was able to be a part of it. It is a story that is completely child friendly and something your child can play over and over again with different interaction.

Here are some screenshots and more about the story origins:

"Puppet Masterpiece Theater: The Circus is a delightful interactive puppet show inspired by the imagination of a real-life child and brought to life years later on the iPad! When Alexandra Conn was just 11-years-old, she created a paper puppet show with unique handmade characters and an engaging story about a group of friends who get more than they bargain for when a circus comes to town. Now an adult and an accomplished artist, Alexandra has brought her original puppet show and illustrations to life through beautiful animation, music, games and more for all children to enjoy!"
