Ainariël, Elf Hunter. Step-by-step. Part 1.

We (I and Ringil) decided to paint together two miniatures of beautiful women in 54mm scale. We want to show different tehniques and sides of painting almost the similiar minis. My choice was   Ainariël by Andrea miniatures. I bought it three or more years ago, but didn't paint her because I was afraid of fail. But it is not so scare to paint with Marina ).

We think that tutorial will be big and continuous so it's better to split it on several parts. And right now you can find the first part about painting the skin in our Serpentarium blog:

Ainariël, Elf Hunter, and Arlith, Silent Shadow. Part 1.

Here is the skin and the face that I painted during this project:

In the next part we want to show how we did hair, clothes and leather. Stay turned!

Serpentarium

Not so long time ago I became a member Serpentarium - newborn organization of four active Russian artists in the world of miniatures (I, Ringil, Ravenswood and Ookami). Here's a link to our newborn child:

I hope that you will see there not only ongoing works of each participant but a lot of exclusive collective works. And we have a lot of plans for such projects!
