EN57 is an electric multiple unit used by the Polish railway operator (PKP). Designed for regional transport, class EN57 was based on the earlier class EW55 units, which was the first electrical multiple unit train type built in Poland with 100% domestic components. They were built by Pafawag works in Wrocław. Production started in 1961 and ended in 1993 with 1452 trainsets produced, many of which are still in operation.

The World Heritage Rock Art Centre - Alta Museum (Verdensarvsenter for bergkunst - Alta Museum) is situated in Hjemmeluft, a small bay in the Altafjord at a site of early settlement of Finnmark dating from around 11,000 years ago. In 1973, the first rock carvings in Hjemmeluft were found. To date over 3,000 figures have been registered here. In the municipality as a whole over 6000 figures have been registered. The museum opened in June 1991 and won the European Museum of the Year Award in 1993.

"Gustave Ferrié (1868-1932)"
Gustave-Auguste Ferrié (Saint-Michel-de-Maurienne, Savoie, November 19, 1868 – Paris, February 16, 1932) was a French army general. In 1891 he became an officer in the French army's Engineers Corps, specializing in the military telegraph service. After being named to a committee exploring wireless telegraphy between France and England, in 1899 he carried out such communications in collaboration with Guglielmo Marconi. His contributions to the development of wireless telegraphy and international broadcasting were very important.

The
Juan J. Sister ferry was built by Kværner Masa-Yards in Turku (Finland).
She was launched on November 24, 1992 and completed and delivered to the Transmediterránea
Company on May 12, 1993. She is 151.1 meters long, 26.0 wide and 6.0 draft.
Her capacity is 556 passengers, with 406 berths in 142 cabins, and the rest in
seats. She made her first trip with passengers between Cádiz and Santa Cruz de
Tenerife. Between October and November 1995 she underwent maintenance and some
modification work in Valencia and Barcelona. She has her base port in Las
Palmas de Gran Canaria. In addition to the maritime connections between the
Canary Islands and the Peninsula, she has covered, among others, the
Málaga-Melilla, Almería-Melilla, Barcelona-Mahón, Valencia-Palma de Mallorca
and Almería-Nador (Morocco) lines.

La construcción de la estación ferroviaria de Santa Fe se completó en 1928. Fue utilizada por el Ferrocarril Provincial de Santa Fe (FCPSF), una empresa ferroviaria de capitales franceses que empezó a operar el 10 de abril de 1900. Después de la nacionalización ocurrida, en 1948, su red pasó a formar parte del Ferrocarril Nacional General Belgrano. La estación dejó de prestar servicio en 1993, y fue reestructurada para funcionar como centro de convenciones.
