The Seoul Metropolitan Subway (수도권 전철) is a metropolitan railway system consisting of 23 rapid transit, light metro, commuter rail and people mover lines located in northwest South Korea. The system serves most of the Seoul Metropolitan Area including the Incheon metropolis and satellite cities in Gyeonggi province. Some regional lines in the network stretch out beyond the Seoul Metropolitan Area to rural areas in northern Chungnam province and western Gangwon Province, that lie over 100 km (62 mi) away from the capital. Its first metro line, Line 1, started construction in 1971 and began operations in 1974, with through-operation to Korail's suburban railways.

The Transilvania was built in the shipyards Burmeister & Wain in Copenhagen in 1938 and was baptized in the port of Constanța on 8 September of the same year. Until the beginning of the II World War, it made regular trips as a cruise ship on the line Constanța - Alexandría - Haifa - Beirut - Piraeus - Istanbul - Constanța, with a capacity of 396 passengers (tourists, mostly foreigners) and a crew of 156 persons. During the war he took refuge in the port of Istanbul, because Turkey was a neutral country, which saved him from being used by Germany to transport troops and weapons, and only in 1944 he returned to Constanța, and for a while he dedicated himself to transports of prisoners from Russia and emigrants to Israel. Then it was sent to the fluvial port of Galaţi, where it sank on 9 September 1979. The remains were not recovered until 2008. The technical data of Transilvania were as follows: 132.44 meters in length, 17.44 meters in maximum width, 5.75 meters of draft and 6,672.31 tons of gross tonnage.

British European Airways (BEA), formally British European Airways Corporation, was a British airline founded on 1st January 1946. Ceased operations on 31 March 1974 (merged with BOAC, Cambrian Airways and Northeast Airlines to form British Airways).

The Clarà Museum was an art museum located in Barcelona, ​​created in 1969 in the Tres Torres neighborhood, which collected a series of sculptures by Josep Clarà. When it was closed, in 1995, a large part of the museum's collection was transferred to the National Museum of Art of Catalonia and the Museu de la Garrotxa (in Olot).

Josep Clarà i Ayats (Olot 1878 - Barcelona 1958) was a Catalan sculptor educated at the Fine Arts schools of Olot, Toulouse and Paris, the city where he settled. In the 1910s he was considered one of the leaders of the Catalan Noucentisme and established his own classic model. He returned to Catalonia in 1932. Many of his sculptures can be found, as public art, in various places in the city of Barcelona. He also excelled as a draftsman.

The Museu Marítim (Maritime Museum) of Barcelona is located in the Royal Atarazanas (shipyards) building. The shipyards were a space dedicated to naval construction between the 13th and 18th centuries, whose existence has been documented since the year 1243. The museum was created on 13 October 1936, but due to the bombings during the Spanish civil war (1936-1939), it was no longer open. It was open to the public on 18 January 1941. The Gothic-style building was built in two stages: the first stage between 1283 and 1328, and the second between 1328 and 1390. Subsequently, renovations and renovations were carried out. extensions, basically maintaining its original structure.

The Singapore Cable Car is a gondola lift providing an aerial link from Mount Faber (Faber Peak Singapore) on Singapore Island to the resort island of Sentosa across the Keppel Harbour. Opened on 15 February 1974, it was the second aerial ropeway system in the world to span a harbour, after Port Vell Aerial Tramway in Barcelona, which opened already in 1931.

The Palermo Marittima station was an interchange station between trains and ferries and for boarding travelers serving the Port of Palermo. It was designed in the 1950s by the architect and engineer Salvatore Caronia Roberti (1887-1970) and was inaugurated in 1974.

The Fløibanen is a funicular railway in the city of Bergen. It connects the city centre with the mountain of Fløyen. The line is 844 m (2,769 ft) long, covers a height difference of 302 m (991 ft). The Fløibanen was opened on15 January 1918. In 1954 the original cars were replaced with new cars; these cars accommodated 80 passengers. In 1974, the cars on the line were again replaced. In 1987, the electric motor was replaced with a new 190 horsepower (140 kW) one, whilst at the same time the brakes and electrical systems were replaced. In 1997, the lower terminus was refurbished and extended. Between September and November 2002, a fourth generation of car was introduced to the line; these cars are capable of carrying 100 passengers and equipped with bigger windows and glass roofs.

The Lyon metro is one of the public transport systems serving the French city of Lyon and its surrounding area. It is a metropolitan network made up of four lines named with the letters A, B, C and D. The network has forty-two stations for 34.55 km of dedicated tracks. The first line opened on 9 December 1974 with the transformation of a funicular line into a rack railway between the Croix-Paquet and Croix-Rousse stations. The network was then officially inaugurated on 28April 1978 with the opening of two lines on tires.

The Trans Europ Express, or Trans-Europe Express (TEE), was an international first-class railway service in western and central Europe that was founded in 1957 and ceased in 1995. At the height of its operations, in 1974, the TEE network comprised 45 trains, connecting 130 different cities, from Spain in the west to Austria in the east, and from Denmark to Southern Italy.

The Olympia was built in 1953 by Alexander Stephen & Sons, Glasgow (Scotland). She was designed to operate regular transatlantic voyages from Piraeus to New York, although later from 1961 she became a seasonal cruise ship. In 1970 with competition from air travel she became a full time cruise ship, however in 1974 Greek Line collapsed and ceased operations and the Olympia was laid up at Piraeus. Since then she has sailed for a variety of operators as a successful cruise ship. Since 2004 the former Olympia has operated Caribbean cruises for Imperial Majesty Cruise Lines as Regal Empress. She has ended her long and proud reign of the sea when she departed Freeport early in April 2009 sailing towards her final destination of Alang India where she will be broken up. Her voyage took over three months to complete. During her long three month voyage, she was renamed Regal Empress. She arrived at Alang India on June 18 and was beached on 24 July 2009. Then in October torches commenced cutting off the bow of the ship. The demolition was finally completed early in 2010.

The General Roca Line (LGR), popularly called the Roca Line, inaugurated in 1865, is one of the seven suburban lines of the Buenos Aires metropolitan railways. Between 1948 and 1991 it was operated by the public company Ferrocarriles Argentinos. It has its head at the Plaza Constitución station in Buenos Aires.
