Embossing Paste

So I've been wanting to try this for a while now.  Embossing Paste!  I have to admit that I wasn't sure about the whole thing and the mess of it but it was quite easy and not that messy at all.  I started with a piece of Amuse Studio Sugar card stock taped to my Ranger craft mat and then placed the Falling Snow plastic template over top.  I used a palette knife to spread the paste over the stencil.  After I had good coverage I used the knife to return the excess paste back into the jar.  I removed the stencil to reveal the pretty falling snow - I added Amuse Studio Diamond Glitter for extra sparkle!  I love how this turned out!
I saw this card layout on Pinterest and I couldn't wait to try it with the supplies that I had in my stash.  All products I used are Amuse Studio except for the Embossing Paste and Falling Snow stencil.

Merry Snowflake Sleeve

Amuse Studio pillow box die with the top left open!  So clever!

Amuse Studio Products:    SHOP AMUSE STUDIO

Stamps:  Snowflakes
Card stock:  Hibiscus, Navy
Ink:  Versamark
Other:  Die cutting machine, Pillow Box Die, Corner Chomper, Static Magic Pouch, Silver Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Merry Word Die, ¼" super stick tape, Silver organdy ribbon

Hibiscus card stock 3 ½" x 5 ½" (2 pieces for pillow box die)
Navy card stock 3" x 1 ½" for Merry word die cut

Die cut the pillow box from 2 pieces of Hibiscus card stock.  Cut off one end of each box piece, leaving one end with flaps to create a 4" tall finished sleeve.  Round the top corners with the corner chopper (¼" radius) of both box pieces.  Prep both box pieces with static magic.  Stamp snowflake images on the box pieces in Versamark ink.  Emboss using the silver embossing powder.

Die cut Merry words from Navy card stock.  Adhere the words to the front of the Hibiscus box piece.

Adhere the flaps of the box using ¼" super stick tape and assemble open-ended sleeve.  Wrap silver organdy ribbon around the top of the sleeve.  Add a treat or gift and tissue paper to the sleeve.

Snowflake Merry Christmas

I saw this idea on Pinterest and I was anxious to try it using Amuse Studio products.  I would like to make a few more and use different colors of ink for the snowflake.

Amuse Studio Products:     SHOP AMUSE STUDIO

Stamps:  Snowflakes, Very Merry
Card stock:  Sugar, Onyx, Recollections Black for die cuts
Ink:  Onyx Versafine
Other:  Quickie Glue Pen, Merry Die, Clear Twinkle Stickers

I cut one merry die using Sugar card stock and three more using the Recollections Black card stock.  This is so that you see the black layers underneath. It looks really cool!

I also masked off the word Christmas from the Hello Christmas (see below) which worked out perfectly!
