IMMENSE JOY

I started out with lots of die cuts. More than this actually...I made 8 cards using this design.

Assembly was pretty easy - I die cut two JOY words out of black card stock & glued them together for a bit of dimension.  I die cut 1 Holly leaf out of green card stock & then ink blended with green ink for the leaves & brown for the stem. For the berries there are 3 different berry dies and I cut them each once & ink blended with a dark red ink.  I tucked the holly branch under the JOY words.  I added thin foam squares to the back of the holly leaves.

Product List:
DIES:  Penny Black Immense Joy Die, Penny Black holly-days Die, Penny Black Semi-Circle Stackers Rectangle Dies, Avery Elle Simple Sentiment Dies
STAMPS:  Penny Black Jolly Snippets, Hero Arts Christmas Messages, Hero Arts Holiday Says (all the stamps used were for the various sentiments)
CARD STOCK:  I used green, red & black (not sure what company for the holly, berries and the JOY), the rectangle layer I used Canson XL watercolor paper, the card bases were a variety of card stock in my stash
INK:  Ink blending on the Holly - Catherine Pooler Green Tea, Distress Tea Dye
Ink blending on the branch part of the holly - Distress Walnut Stain
Ink blending on the Berries - Catherine Pooler Cranberry Fizz
Ink blending for the rectangle background - Memento Rich Cocoa
Onyx Versafine for the stamped sentiments
OTHER:  Taylored Expressions Rectangle Masking Stencil, Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen on the berries

BE HAPPY

A fun new stamp set that I wanted to play with today.

I have limited sentiments stamp sets with me but I thought these turned out pretty cute!

MASTERPIECES MADE SIMPLE

I bought two packages of these beautiful panels called Masterpieces Made Simple by Penny Black.  There are 4 designs in each pack.  They are so pretty, like little paintings.  The only thing I did to a few of them was to add a bit of Stickles to make it look like there was snow on the branches and the bird houses.  I used various frame dies to make them into cards.  I did add a die cut deer on two panels as well.  They were super quick, but are very impressive!  There are two panels that I haven't finished yet but I wanted to show Doreen that I really did make them into cards since we were together when I bought them!  ðŸ˜‰

WINTER WALK

There was coloring going on in the studio over the weekend.  I was inspired by Lost in Paper's video HERE.  I loved all the colors she used and it was nice to have it all figured out for me!
This stamp set called Winter Walk is from Penny Black.  I made a variety of cards with the same basic coloring then different layering elements.  The sentiments are  also by Penny Black. On the cream card base I did all the coloring and then ran it thru my die cutting machine with a falling snow embossing folder.
I had to make one more and color in her jeans!
I used the Catherine Pooler Mint to Be ink to blend some ink along the outer edges of the white panel.  I also added a bit of glitter to her stocking cap.  May your days be HAPPY, Your heart be LIGHT, Your Christmas MERRY & the New Year BRIGHT!

SWEET SADIE!

I made the card a few weeks ago, but made up a matching personalized tag to go with my gift.
A sweet swaddle blanket to go with the stamped swaddle baby girl card.  And I've been doing the letter beads for years, they never go out of style!  I also found a few head bands that sort of matched my color scheme - don't ya know it's all in the presentation!  ðŸ˜‰
The head bands that didn't match were tucked in on the back of the blanket.  ðŸ˜‰

I even had the perfect box to fit and it's ready to mail!  Hello Little One and congrats to the new parents & grandparents!!

LITTLE ONE

I started out with this cute Little One stamp set & dies from Waffle Flower.  It's a good day when I get time to die cut & color pieces & parts.  It is one of my favorite things to do in the craft room.  ðŸŽ¨
Lots of cute little swaddled babies to use on cards!

For this card I used all the die cuts - I positioned the negative of the die cut to get the placement of all the pieces which was helpful.  I decided to make a square card.  The square border is from Penny Black.
A baby boy all wrapped up in the striped swaddle.  This time I stamped the design direct to the paper and colored with Copic markers.  I did add a bit of dimension to the baby in the middle.  So cute!
I'm in love...so sweet!  ðŸ‘¶
This is another image in the stamp set.  I stamped & die cut, then colored it.  Another sweet baby card ready to go!

PAW PRINTS

I recently picked up the Taylored Expressions Paw Prints stamp set.  I made a few simple cards.
I used the Avery Elle Everyday Circle Tags & Dies and stamped the sentiment inside the circle.  The paw prints are from the TE stamp set.
The circles are from Penny Black and the paw is a wood stamp that I had in my stash.  The sentiment is from the Taylored Expressions Paw Print stamp set.

PRETTY POSTAGE METALLIC!

Happy March 1st!  Remember a few weeks ago when I posted all the Honey Bee Pretty Postage cards?  I have one more for you.  If you have been stamping a long time like I have, you may have some version of these metallic colored pencils in your stash.  I was inspired by a card that Kristina Werner did using metallic paints.  I stamped the image on black card stock with Versamark ink and embossed with silver embossing powder.  I used the metallic pencils to color in the image.
I used a couple of fun square stitched borders to cut out the image.  I layered it on a square ivory card base.  The Happy Anniversary sentiment is from Hero Arts Everyday Sayings.

BLOOMING POINSETTIA

I recently completed a big project where I used AirTable to organize all my stand alone dies.  Everything is now in categories on my devices so that I can search for things.  This particular die set is one that I found while organizing.  I hadn't used it much so I decided it was high time!  It is from Memory Box called Blooming Poinsettia.  I die cut red flowers & green leaves then added a bit of ink shading with Distress Ink in Fired Brick & Crushed Olive.  It adds dimension when you add the ink shading!
Up close - I did add a little Shimmer to the yellow center.
I used a brick embossing folder for the background and then stamped a Penny Black sentiment at the bottom.
These turned out so pretty!
This is similar to the card that I saw in the stamp store that made me purchase this die set.  The swirly background is an embossing folder using shimmer paper.  The white on white is simply stunning!
Here are a few more cards that I made while I was in the mood to create poinsettias!  So pretty!

FRAMED SCENES

I love the simplicity of this card.  I used the Snowflake Pattern background stamp from Penny Black stamp with VersaColor Cement to stamp the snowflake background.  This small ink cube I have had in my collection for years and I was pleasantly surprised that it still had plenty of ink.  I die cut the snowflake pattern with the My Favorite Things Inside & Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangle die. I like the added detail with the stitching.  The snowmen are a retired set from Amuse Studio called Winter Wishes. I added just a bit of Copic coloring and this card is done.

Old school wood stamp from Amuse Studio called Girl with Sled.  The greeting is from Amuse Studio Mini Messages.

Pretty Pinecones

I'm loving pinecones lately.  I have picked up several different stamp sets this year with pinecones in them.  This is a set I actually bought on sale last year at the end of the Christmas season at my local stamp store.  I didn't get a chance to use it until this year and I just love how it turned out.  The sentiment set is just as beautiful, it just love how mixed fonts look on a card.

Products Used:

Card stock:  Cherry A2 Card Base, French Roast Woodgrain, Vanilla (all amuse studio)
Ink:  Fern (amuse studio), Early Espresso (SU)
Other:  Quickie Glue Pen, Diamond Glitter (amuse studio), Tiny Red grosgrain ribbon (in my stash)
