Mini cards

I couldn't resist this fun little Everyday Doodles set from EBE.  I stamped several while I had the set out.  I cut 8.5 x 11 card stock into 4 equal pieces and stamped several images using the Misti.  I tried a trick I learned from an online video where you keep your dies in place (see them to the bottom left of the picture above) and then carefully remove the pieces & leave the tape on the dies.  This way you don't have the re-align each individual die every time.  Worked like a charm & it saves soooo much time!
Catherine Pooler inks I used for the background stripe.

These were a lot of fun to create - they are mini cards or I could attach them to a card front if I wanted to.  I used a very old wood block Savvy stamp for the striped background - in a variety of Catherine Pooler inks.  The Everyday Doodles stamp set has all kinds of cute little images that you can add to your project.  I used the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangles to give them a nice border.

She's Here

I needed a baby girl card to send with a gift.  This card was in my stash and if I had to guess it's probably over 15 years old.  I had to attach it to a new card base because the card stock I used was subpar compared to what I use now!  ha!  I still love adding the letter beads to personalize the card.

Pretty Peony

I was inspired by Amy Rysavy's design HERE.  This beautiful flower by Altenew is called Peony Spray.  I stamped it with VersaMark on Ranger Watercolor paper.  I used two different white embossing powders.  I like them both.  The Hero Arts powder is a bit more detailed and the Amuse Studio powder provides a thicker line.  I did simple watercoloring with distress inks & a water brush without using much water.

I made these cards before my stamp room was undone for the new paint & carpet.  I have been working on getting things back in place and I'm making good progress.  I'll be back to stamping again soon!

Products Used:

Stamps:  Altenew Peony Spray + Die
Card stock:  Amuse Studio Kraft, Ranger Watercolor Paper, Black, Ellen Hutson Linen Card base
Ink:  Versamark, Distress Inks Abandoned Coral, Worn Lipstick, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed, Mowed Lawn, Crushed Olive
Other:  White Embossing Powder (Hero Arts & Amuse Studio), Tim Holtz Dot Fade Layering Stencil, Wendy Vecchi White Embossing Paste, Simon Says Bundle of Stitched Shapes (stitched rectangle), Savvy Happy Birthday Stacked Die, Pink Gems

Birthday Floral

I did some quick oxide ink blending for the background followed by a few flicks of water droplets.  I die cut two of the Simon Says Flower Clusters and three of the Happy Birthday sentiment.  I used a new product, well new to me called Diecut'N Bond rolled adhesive.

The adhesive is paper thin and easy to use. When applied to your cardstock or paper ahead of die cutting, Diecut’n Bond places a layer of adhesive to your intricate die shapes. Simply apply to paper or cardstock before die-cutting a shape. Once cut, peel off the protective backing and place the shape on your project where desired.  It works great for adhering intricate dies like this one!  It is easier than trying to apply glue and the entire surface has sticky on it.   What a nice solution to attaching intricate dies!  Love!

Many Thanks

This card was inspired by Impress Rubber Stamps.  I saw a card they made & I recreated it with the stamps that I had in my collection.  I went old school and used wood floral stamps!  I stamped the background stripe with a stamp from the Papertrey Ink Ombre Builders stamp set.  I did order the Savvy Many Thanks die from Impress...which I love!

Starry Christmas Card

My inspiration for this card came from Julie Ebersole.  I loved the star die because it has fold lines in it to add dimension.

I used Amuse Studio Champagne glitter on the edges of the star.  It really looks antique-ish.  The paper pad was a freebie that I got at Archiver's - My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas.

Supplies:

Stamps:  No stamps used!
Cardstock:  Ivory textured card found in my stash, My Mind's Eye Lost & Found Christmas 6x6 paper pad
Ink:  No Ink!
Other:  Savvy Folded Star Die, 2 way glue pen, Amuse Studio Champagne Glitter, Paper Piercer, Gold cording, Memory Box Joy Script Die, Quickie Glue Pen

Peace...

Remember this post a while back where I tried to thread the baker's twine thru that tiny jingle bell with no success?  I found the floss threaders & wow, they work like a charm!  This is a great tip on how to get things threaded easily - watch the video if you want to see what I'm talking about!

Remember these Doreen?

Here is a set of simple notecards that Doreen & I made up a few years ago for a craft sale.  All of them were stamped with black ink & layered on various pastel cards.

Hang in there!

I'm going to be sending this card to a friend that broke her leg.  What else can you say but Hang In There@!  She is a busy Mom of 7 kids & slipped on the ice & broke her leg.  She will be on crutches for 6 weeks!  This card was in my stash - the towel embellishment is by Jolee Stickers.  The Paisley background is by Savvy & the words are also by Savvy.

Savvy Tags

I saw this idea on Savvy Stamps Facebook Page.  What a great way to use all those background stamps we've all  been collecting. I love how just the bottom half of the tag is stamped. A set of tags like this would make a great gift or they would also be nice to have on hand for a quick addition to a gift bag.

Make A Wish!

The card is by AMuse Art Stamps called Madeira Red Notecards. I stamped the Savvy Graphic Dot Cake in pink ink & then used prisma glitter to add a little glitz to the cake. I punched the word window by Stampin' UP on the front of the card & then put Make a Wish words (sorry I couldn't identify this stamp?) on the inside of the card.

Hammock!

Who wouldn't want to be laying in this hammock some where on a tropical beach??  The Argyle background & the Hammock are both by Savvy Stamps.  I used a Mango Memory Box card & cut it into a square.  The polka dot sheer ribbon is by Amuse.

Stamp #5 - Flower & Stamp #6 - Flower Border

Pretty Simple but I used the next two stamps, only 3 more to go!  I stamped the flower head on white paper, colored it in & punched it out with a circle punch.  The orange striped card is by Savvy.   The flower border was stamped on the envelope to coordinate with the card.

Happy 5th!

Happy Birthday to our niece, she turns 5 today!  The striped cake stamp is from Savvy Stamps. I used a Stamp set from Stampendous called Fifteen Candles to stamp the number on the cake. I layered with a bit of black cardstock, matching ribbon & used dimensional dots to attach the card. Super Simple!

Life Is Good...

"I got my toes in the water, a** in the sand
Not a worry in the world, a cold beer in my hand
Life is good today. Life is good today..."

Sing along with me...
If you aren’t familiar with the song that is the refrain from “Toes” by the Zac Brown Band.

Details:
Hammock is by Savvy Stamps, Life is Good by AMuse Art Stamps,
Golden Sand embossing powder by Stampendous
