FUN / Simple Scrapper May 2015...

F-U-N! Who doesn't like to have fun? These pics were taken a couple years ago - we were at the lake having game night. It's funny to note that these days, we play Connect Four and leave the hungry hippos at home!

I used one of Simple Scrapper's May 2015 Story Starters, which are all about Leisure Time! I also used a previous template, both are part of the monthly membership, along with access to all archived templates and Story Starters. I love how Simple Scrapper inspires me to capture the little moments/stories in our lives!

 

The kits I used are both from Micheline Martin Designs, 35mm and Painted Little Dots.

A ZOO~PER DUPER DAY / Simple Scrapper May 2015...

Alex's class recently went to the Montgomery Zoo! Jeff and Maisie skipped work/preschool to go with us! Alex's friend Seamus also walked around with us, we had a great day! 

I used one of Simple Scrapper's May 2015 templates, along with an older Story Starter, which are both part of the monthly membership! As a matter of fact, member have access to all previous templates and Story Starters. I loved this template because of all the multiple photo slots - perfect for our little trip!

I also used Echo Park's mini theme kit Day At The Zoo. I pulled up a few zoo scrap kits online and Alex picked this one.

I used another of Simple Scrapper's September templates for this layout ~ I think it's one of my favorites! (I also used it for Maisie's first day layout.) The digital kit is from Scotty Girl Designs, she has a wonderful style! It's called Brainiac.

SIMPLY NOSTALGIC / Simple Scrapper & P&Co...

I have very fond memories of shelling peas on the porch of my great grandmother's house. She lived out in the country in a small farmhouse. I loved spending time with her! My Great Uncle grew lots of peas this summer, and we were given some. I taught Maisie how to shell them - she loved it!

This was one of my samples for Simple Scrapper's September templates. I used KimB's Designs kit, Pretty Amazing. It is a really gorgeous kit!

HAPPY CAMPERS / P&Co & Simple Scrapper...

Hello again! This is my second layout showing off this month's templates and Story Starters from Simple Scrapper! Way back before kids, Jeff and I did quite a bit of camping. This trip was back in 2006! We actually took the kids on their first camping trip this past weekend - and we lived to tell the tale!

I used an adorable kit by Scotty Girl Designs called Camp S'more.

This is my first layout showing off one of the new Simple Scrapper August 2014 templates, as part of Simple Scrapper's August Community Show and Tell. My sweet little children! It's so great when they are getting on well, they hug and hold hands - but let me tell you, when they are fighting it can get nasty! I included a great quote on the page for them, too - I like to try to add "little messages" to them when I scrap pics of them together like this.

PICNIC WITH A SPLASH / P&Co & Simple Scrapper...

Hello! I've been doing a little scrapping lately - woohoo! We took the kids for a picnic at the local park, which also has a splash pad - they had a blast! And mom and I were pretty tired by the time it was all done - lol!

I used a template from Simple Scrapper's Premium Membership and this sweet kit by Scotty Girl Designs, Color My World Collection.

934 miles & 2 snacks / Simple Scrapper July Community Show & Tell & BasicGrey...

This is my second layout for this month's Simple Scrapper July Community Show & Tell. (My first is here.) Beside using a gorgeous template from Simple Scrapper - I also used one of July's Story Starters! It was all about travels from your past - a perfect group of prompts to help you tell the stories you may have forgotten about. That's one thing about the Story Starters, they challenge my thinking of the stories I want to tell and sometimes reminds me of great stories I hadn't thought to scrap!

This layout is about trips my family used to take to Michigan when I was young. Especially one trip where my mom packed 2 different snacks for us to eat on the trip - Planters Dry Roasted Peanuts and cheese puffs. It was many, many years before I could see a jar of Planter's and not feel ill - LOL!

This kit is from BasicGrey's Carte Postale Digital Collection - I loved using it for a trip down memory lane!

HELLO SUNSHINE / Simple Scrapper July Community Show & Tell & P&Co...

Hello! It's time for the Simple Scrapper July Community Show and Tell! As you know, we recently went on a little mini vacation with my mom and dad. Unfortunately when I was taking pics my folks were on a corn dog quest to the other side of the amusement park. After that I might have broken my toe. But before that happened I did have some fun!

This layout uses one of Simple Scrapper's July template, which I manipulated to add more pics.

The kit is by Mommyish and Meghan Mullins called Little Ray of Sunshine.

This is the first layout I have for Simple Scrapper June Community show and tell, using one of the June templates! I L-O-V-E the diamonds - so cool! Each month, members of Simple Scrapper get Story Starters to get your ideas flowing, templates, members only classes as well as access to the archive!

When I saw this gorgeous kit of Mye De Leon's - Minted, I just had to use it - I love the color scheme and patterns!
