"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it." ~ Isaiah 55: 8-11

Good morning! It's hop day for the Dream Team - YAY! Our theme this month is "monochrome", an awesome challenge from our lovely hostess with the most~est, Mina! If you found your way here from the super talented Elaine's blog, you're on the right track... but if you need to start st the beginning, go the the Dream Team blog...

I decided this poor sweet boy, Needs Mummy, looked blue, so I went with that! I went clean & simple on this one... kinda nice to do that every once in a while - lol!

Thanks for stopping by!

SPROUT / USSIS #91...

Happy Saturday! I'm so excited, not only do we have sun, we also have a high today of 68 degrees!!! YAY! After naps, we'll be heading to the park to play! This card is for the latest Unscripted sketch, you'' have to play along with us...

This image is called Sprout, by Mo Manning. It's included with the "Help for Katie" bundle available at Jak Heath's blog. I FINALLY got out my sewing machine this morning (first time ever that I've used it - my mom started to show me how & then ended up just sewing herself - lol). The sentiment is from Elegant Friendship at my little shop the Wax Fruit Company!

Back in a few with a special project!

HOPE'S SOCKS / CPS #201 & TTD #32...

Meet Hope - she's a little cutie-patootie from Mo Manning! I love those mis-matched socks, and all the hearts and checks!

My sketch is from Card Positioning Systems, and the Valentine theme is over at Tuesday Throwdown!

I colored Hope with Copics. I decided to try to make the coloring a little less saturated than I usually do. The EF is SU! and the border punch is Fiskars. Buttons are PTI & ribbon from my stash!

Bye for now...

PENGUIN WITH GIFT / FTL #121, EIC#119 & PTW...

Only 2 more days - YAY!!! Here's a SUPER QUICK card I made using Mo Manning's image, Penguin with Gift.

I used three challenges for this card, Papertake Weekly, Etsy Inspired and the Fall-to Layout again - love that sketch!

Sorry this is so short...bye for now!

SNOWMAN / Mo's Dream Team Blog Hop & MTSC #104... #

WooHoo! Happy Hop Day, Mo's Dream Team style! The super talented Peri is our hostess today & she decided on the theme "Let it Snow!"... we hardly ever get snow here in the south, but were pleasantly surprised last week with almost an hour of little flurries! I hope we see some more!

Don't worry if you've dropped in mid hop - just keep following along and you'll eventually make it through! But if you must, you can start at the beginning at the Dream Team blog. I used the darling image "Snowman" for my card - you can find it here. Half the battle for me is always finding the paper first, and once I decided, I realized I didn't have Copics that matched - so please forgive my rather 'rusty' watercoloring! Mercy's sketch this week was perfect, too! Thanks Mercy!!!

Your next stop is my sweet friend Lori, not only does she have beauty & brains - she pretty stinkin' talented to boot! I'm sure she'll inspire you!

Have a terrific day!!!

STICKY / CQC #62 (sorta) & CP #93...

This little elf is SO ADORABLE! Mo Manning is the artist, and this image "Sticky" can be found here. I don't think I've ever seen an image of Mo's that I wouldn't play with...[happy sigh]...

a variation of...

I used a variation of this week's colourQ... just for kicks & paired it with this week's Card Patterns Sketch. It seemed to be the perfect sketch for this image. Sticky was colored with Copics and then I dotted/shadowed around him 'à la Lori Boyd'... (you know if you want to be great you have to emulate greatness!) and of course had to throw on some buttons, because I'm fairly addicted to them! Oh, his little hat has been 'stickled', too!

Thanks for dropping by!

JACK WAITING...

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving!!! Hope your day is filled with family, friends and lots of good food!

I loved this image of Mo Manning's from the moment I saw it... this little guy is just SO SWEET!

This is a quick post.... I just got back from mass and now have to finish the mashed potatoes and deviled eggs I started before I left!

You can find the image here!

By for now...

NORTH POLE EMPLOYEE / Mo's Dream Team Hop & C4C #63...

YAY - it's HOP DAY over at Mo's Dream Team! If you've arrived from Mina's lounge of lovely~ness, you're in the right place! You can start at the beginning by going to the Dream Team blog...

For my card I used one of the North Pole Employees, from a set of 2 by Mo Manning. You can find these cute little guys here. The hostess with the most~ess this month is Jak, and she wanted us to "distress" away! Your next stop is Lori's blog... you're sure to be wowed by her amazing talents!

I'm also playing along with Crazy 4 Challenges with this Christmas themed card.

Bye for now... have a super swell time hopping!

JUSTIN'S ICE CREAM / SSSC #91 & PTW 11.2.10...

This is just one of the cutest images to me! I love the overall's and the puppy hoping to catch a drip of ice cream... Justin can be found at Mo's Digital Pencil, here.

I 'sorta' used Karen's Sweet Sunday sketch for this card, as well as the "male" theme over at Papertake Weekly. The paper is by Echo Park, Sweet Summertime, and the twill is from a Key Ingredients Kit I got from Taylored Expressions - I guess the paper came in one of those kits, too. Justin was colored with Copics. (Don't tell hubby, but I have 36 new Copics enroute to me right now! Carpe Diem Store has them for $3.95 right now & free shipping on qualified orders - WOOOOHOOO!)

I hope you having an awesome Thursday, thanks for stopping in!

Bye for now,
