Happy Mothers Day . . .

Happy Mother's Day to all of my friends whether they be a mother or have provided a comfort to others . . . you are truly a joy!!! My Mother and Grandmother have since passed but it's still a day to pay tribute to our mothers or those who have inspired and taken care of us!!!

With Mother's Day just around the corner!!! I had recently done a craft show and just knew that I needed a few cards for Mother's Day and thought I would share this week some of the cards that I had made . . . . 

Create with TLC offers a phenomenal club where for every month that you join the cost is $8.95 or you could join for 3 months at the cost of $25. What this includes is images sent to your mailbox on a daily basis including what she is offering on her blog free that you never have to worry about missing an image or sentiment!!! With that being said, my card for today is comprised of such elements. 

I love this little Sunbonnet from Bugaboo called Fancy SB Flowers. What could be better than to give flowers to MOM!!! 

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• Recollection card stock as a size A2 card (4.25 x 5.5 inch) with scraps as the background - if you notice, I used the same background that I had used on the Victorian Boot
• image was colored using Prisma Colored Pencils and Prisma Markers with rounded corners and chalked around the edges 
• flowers were created using Burst Punch from Fiskars with Queen & Co. pearls
• buttons on the bottom corner using a flower pot and a flower
• sentiment, "MY MOM: . . . ." is from Create with TLC MOM  My Hero Digi Image and Word Art Set with rounded corners and chalked around the edges - I just love this sentiment and its purrfect with this card

Mom - Manager of Messes

Mother's Day is just around the corner!!! I had recently done a craft show and just knew that I needed a few cards for Mother's Day and thought I would share this week some of the cards that I had made . . . . this sweet little boy has brought his mommy a bouquet of daisies, freshly picked including the worm from the ground - now how precious is that?? 

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• Recollection card stock as a size A2 card (4.25 x 5.5 inch) with scraps as the background 
• image is from Sparkle N Sprinkle is called Rusty with Flowers, was colored using Prisma Markers and Prisma Colored Pencils with rounded corners and chalked around the edges
• daisies are made using Burst Punch from Fiskars with Queen & Co. pearls in the center of flowers with grass and leaves drawn using green gel pen
• sentiment, "Mom Manager of Messes" is from Create with TLC Mom My Hero Digi Image and Word Art Set with rounded corners and chalked around the edges mounted on matching paper

Mother's Day Blessings - Happy Mother's Day (The Purrfect Card!)

Mother's Day is just around the corner!!! I had recently done a craft show and just knew that I needed a few cards for Mother's Day and thought I would share this week some of the cards that I had made . . . . after yesterday sharing a dog with you, I thought I would share this adorable kitty with a huge hat in a hat box!

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• Recollection card stock as a size A2 card (4.25 x 5.5 inch) with scraps as the background 
• polka dot ribbon from my stash was wrapped around the background and tied in a huge bow - it's just purrfect
• Recollection pink rose on bottom right corner
• image was colored using Prisma Markers and Colored Pencils and chalked 
• sentiment, "Happy Mother's Day" is from Create with TLC  Mom My Hero Digi Image and Word Art Set fussy-cut around the edges and chalked around the edges and mounted with puff-dots
• sentiment, "Mother's Day Blessings" is from Create with TLC Mom the Original Wonder Woman Vintage Digi and Word Art Set with rounded corners and chalked around the edges mounted on matching paper
