Freeze He's a Jolly Good Fellow Stretch Card - January Scrapbook Blessings Club Challenge

Happy 2015 from The Scrapbook Blessings Club. This year, things are going to be a little different and going back to the tutorial roots. 

• Challenges are now monthly beginning the first Sunday of the month and continuing til the last day of the month
• All challenges will have a sponsor with one (1) random winner
• All entrees are to be inspired by the tutorial video given on the challenge

We hope to inspire new techniques and a lot of crafty fun!!!

Our first challenge of the year is a Stretch (Cascade) Card which is being sponsored by The Online Craft Room

For my project, I started with my sentiment and the creativity went from there! Now, as we are challenging you to create a Stretch/Cascade Card - let me tell you that I was most definitely challenged and followed the tutorial at My Crafty Life on the Internet. The best tip I can offer is to do the card step-by-step AND measure twice and cut once!!!!

RECIPE and SUPPLIES:

• lilac gemstones www.coredinations.com 12 x 12 card stock
• background white Recollection cardstock
• embossed the white paper using Cuttlebug Snowflake Embossing folder
• Martha Stewart snow border punch (this had dual purpose as I use it at Halloween too for blood)
• Beccy's Place Penguin is a free file and was colored using Whisper Strokes and Spectrum Noir Markers with gel pen accents and fussy cut around the edges
• 2 Cute Ink Playtime Winter Penguin had been a previous freebie and was colored using Whisper Strokes and Spectrum Noir Markers with gel pen accents, fussy cut around the edges with Stickles for the snowball and pom pom on the hat
• penguins with bow tie and bow were cut using Cricut Simply Charmed Cartridge
• penguins were cut using Cricut Create a Critter Cartridge
• penguins were arranged in various heights and areas while they are busy singing Happy Birthday!!!
• sentiment, "What do penguins sing at a birthday party? Freeze a Jolly Good Fellow" is from Create with TLC Freeze a Jolly Good Fellow Digi Image Set
