Bug Me Anytime!

Hi everyone! Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you all had a wonderful day!

This afternoon while the kids watched the Monster High Valentine's Day special on YTV (a couple times) I worked on a card for the latest challenge at My Creative Time. This time, the challenge was to create something using an older cartridge and a bug somewhere on the project.

For my project I used the Sesame Street Seasons cartridge. This is certainly not an "old" cartridge, but I figured anything over a year old could fall into the older category? Hopefully it's alright!

I cut the bug at 3.25".

The "Bug Me Anytime" sentiment is from the My Creative Time stamp set "My Favorite Sayings" and was stamped with Black ink by CTMH.

All of the paper I used on this card was from my scraps stash.

I've been playing around with my Cricut Mini a bit. I updated my Gypsy the other day, and they now work together! So exciting! I find the Mini cuts reeeeeaaaallllllyyyyy well compared to my other machines ( which I wasn't complaining about before!)

Hope you like it!

#91 Learning Curve - Happy Canada Day!

Hi everyone! Happy Canada Day to my fellow Canadians! Today my family and I are headed to the parade and Canada Day festivities that are held every year in our town. Good times!

O Canada!

Our home and native land!
True patriot love in all thy sons command.

With glowing hearts we see thee rise,
The True North strong and free!

From far and wide,
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

God keep our land glorious and free!
O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

O Canada, we stand on guard for thee.

Here is a layout that I created to enter in a couple of patriotic challenges:

The Cricut cartridges/cuts I used are:
Learning Curve - Title cut at 2".
Sesame Street Seasons - maple leaf cut at 9".

I added some Divine Twine and stickles to the maple leaf and some border rubons along the top and bottom.

Challenges:
Cricut Circle Weekly challenge - patriotic pride
Canada Day challenge on the Cricut Circle Messageboard.

Hope you like it!

#11 Sesame Street Seasons - Winter layout

Hi everyone! Here is a layout that I created for some sledding pictures of my kids that I have not developed yet! This was my first time using the Sesame Street Seasons cartridge - there are some really great images on there if you or your kids are Sesame Street fans! I created this layout for the challenge at Fantabulous Cricut this week which was to create a project featuring winter clothing. Elmo and Big Bird are decked out in their hats and mittens for some snow fun!
The cartridges I used are:
Sesame Street Seasons - Elmo. Big Bird, snowflakes, "winter" and scalloped frame.
Winter Frolic - "Snow Much Fun"
Hope you like it!
