Hi everyone! Ready for the weekend? I sure am! Here is a layout that I created for the Cricut Circle Magazine challenge for the month of February. Hello Kitty Crayon Box

Hi everyone! This week at Fantabulous Cricut they have a fantastic blog hop going on - you should check it out! Lots of fun and tons of fabulous prizes! For their challenge this week, we had to create a school-themed project which included buttons somewhere. I decided to make a crayon box for my daughter as a surprise - I think she will love it! For the box I used Tags, Bags, Boxes and More and Hello Kitty Greetings for the cheerleader Hello Kitty. I was complaining on the Circle messageboard the other day about how awful I am at using glitter and one of the nice ladies on there suggested that I try running my cuts through the xyron first for a nice even glittery effect. WOW!! I still got glitter everywhere in my work area, but only where I wanted it on my project. I LOVE this technique! Thank you for stopping by - hope you like my crayon box!

Bon Voyage Suitcase card

Hi everyone! Tonight I just finished up a card for the challenge at Fantabulous Cricut The challenge is to create a project with a vacation theme. For this card I used my Summer Vacation cartridge and welded two suitcasses together to form a shaped card. The "Bon Voyage" is from Hello Kitty Greetings. I used glitter which I always have trouble with - it never seems to go right! Thanks for stopping by my blog - feel free to look around!

Pink Hello Kitty Card

Hi everyone! Hope you're having a great long weekend! My hubby is working so I'll be at home with the kids - hopefully doing some scrapping! Today I made this card for the Cuttlebug Challenge. This week they are sponsored by My Pink Stamper so the task is to create something pink and with a sentiment using the cuttlebug. The embossing folder is D'Vine Swirl. I used the Hello Kitty Greetings cricut cartridge to make Hello Kitty. The lace border punch is by Martha Stewart. The "Thinking of You" sentiment is by Studio G. Hope you like my creation! Thanks for looking!

Jenae's Back to School layout

Hello! The challenge this week at Children's Challenge Corner was to create a project with a back to school theme. Jenae chose to do a 6X6 layout for her scrapbook with a photo of her in her favorite back to school outfit from last year. She got to use her Mommy's cricut again, with help of course:-) She did choose all the colours and glue the pieces together. The cartridge used was Hello Kitty. Hope you like it!

My Pink Stamper NSD #11

For this challenge we had to create a project using the colours of the rainbow. I tried out my brayer for the first time to make the background on glossy cardstock, then used the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge for the kitty shape and Plantin Schoolbook for the grass trim. Hope you like it!
