No Lion!

Hi everyone! Here is a card I created for the Let's Face it Friday challenge over at the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog. The theme this week was animals so we were supposed to create a project with an animal as the focus using our Peachy Keen face stamps.

I cut the lion from the Animal Kingdom cartridge at 2 ". The face stamp is from the Critter Faces Medium set by Peachy Keen Stamps.

The circles were cut using George and Basic Shapes at 1.5" and 1.75".

#43 Animal Kingdom - Thanks to Ewe Spinner Card

Hi everyone! Here is a spinner card I created using a tutorial by one of my favorite ladies on YouTube - Dawn5377. You can find the tutorial by clicking here. The spinning action is created simply by using two pennies and a pop dot!

The sheep on the card are from the Animal Kingdom cartridge (cut at 1 1/4")
The farm animal border punch is by Martha Stewart.
Twine, marker, ink and cardstock is by Stampin' Up!
Patterned paper by Chatterbox

I am entering this in two challenges:
Crafting With Cristina - create an interactive card
More Than Favors (Wacky Wednesday) - farm theme
Hope you like it!

Ewe're One of a Kind

Hi everyone! Today my daughter (who is 6)and I have been creating in our craft room. I am taking part in Emma's first challenge over at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/
The task is to create a project using an animal image. Jenae decided she wanted to make something too! I used the Animal Kingdom cartridge for my sheep and the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge for the grass. I used my new Peachy Keen Critter Faces for the large sheep then wished I had bought the small ones too because the faces were too big for the little sheep ( I am NOT a good artist lol). I used the Tiny Typewriter Alphabet by Close to My Heart to make the sentiment. You can't really see it in the photo, but I rubbed stickles over the grass cut out and over the top of the ribbon. Hope you like it!
Now for my daughter's project. On the front cover she cut out a drawing she made of our yorkie Parker. On the inside of the card she used Create a Critter to cut out the dog and then stamped a face on him with the PK critter faces set. Then she added a photo of him! She is so proud of her handiwork and I'm so proud of her! She hopes everyone likes it and she really hopes we win the challenge!

Father's Day Card

I created this card for the My Pink Stamper challenge hoping I can win a Cricut Expression - pretty good prize eh? My six year old is pretty sure she needs one of her own - not too sure about that :-)
The cricut cartridges I used were Animal Kingdom for the moose, Give a Hoot for the grass and Lyrical Letters for the letters (I welded "for you" together with my gypsy.
For this challenge I was originally intending to enter a "dad" word book to give my husband with pictures of the kids. I started making it, but upon further consideration I decided not enter it in the challenge because in the rules it stated that it had to be an original idea and I got the idea from one of Robyn's videos. So I decided to make this card for my own Dad instead. Once I complete the word book I will post it though for your enjoyment - it is looking really good!
