#131 Cuttin' Up - Baby Girl for Jenae

Hi everyone! Here is another layout that I created last weekend. It features my daughter and her first baby girl cousin Bentley.

For this layout, I used the Cuttin' Up cartridge for the title.

I used the Art Philosophy cartridge for the flowers.

Hope you like it!

#130 Recess - Hurray for School!

Hi everyone! Last weekend I attended a crop and got a few layouts done so I will try to get them posted today!

This layout is of my boy Drew starting his first day of preschool in September 2010. He was so excited!

I cut the boy reading and the paint pallet from the Recess Lite cartridge. I used the hide contour feature on my Gypsy to erase the face from the little boy and added a Peachy Keen face stamp instead.

The font is from Cuttin' Up.

Hope you like it!

Dad's Birthday Card

Hi everyone! Tonight I finished up a card for my Dad's birthday which is on Thursday. I created this card for the weekly challenge on the Cricut Circle Blog. The challenge was to use the colours grey, orange, tan and burgundy on our projects, as well as add texture and at least two cricut cuts. The cartridges I used are Wildlife (deer), Straight From the Nest (leaves) and Cuttin' Up (DAD). I used one of the Cindy Loo embossing folders for the leaves. The leaves on the background were stamped with orange pigment ink using the Nature's Vein set by CTMH. The leaf veins were stamped with Versamark and embossed with some Tim Holtz distress embossing powder.

Hope you like my creation! Thanks for stopping by!

Beach Babes Layout

Here is my newest layout that I just finished up this evening. Gotta love those paper doll cartridges with the Peachy Keen stamps!
I made this layout for this week's challenge at http://madebymomo.blogspot.com/. The challenge was called "spots and dots" so used some polka dot embossed cardstock for my photo mats. I used the Everyday Paper Dolls Cartridge for the kids and the Cuttin Up cartridge for the letters. I dug waaaaayyyy down into my paper stash for that background paper. I know my mom gave it to me years ago. Do you think it is possibly the first patterned paper ever made in a beach theme? Hope you like it!

Throwback Thursday Challenge - Doodlecharms

Hi everyone! This week at http://www.creativetimeforme.com/ Emma is having another Throwback Thursday challenge featuring an older cartridge. This week she chose Doodlecharms and the task was to create a scrapbooking layout. Jenae and I scrapbooked together this evening so she created a project as well. For mine I used the Santa and reindeer from the doodlecharms cartridge. The fonts were from Cuttin Up and Gypsy Wanderings. The scalloped photo mats are from Create a Critter. I also used a Critter Faces stamp set by Peachy Keen Stamps for the faces on the cute little reindeer. Hope you like it!

For Jenae's 6X6 layout she used the sandcastle from Doodlecharms and made this cute layout of her, her brother and her cousin playing in the sandbox at Grandma's house.
