#167 Spongebob Squarepants - Colouring Books

Hi everyone!  I just finished up my entry for the monthly challenge on the Cricut Circle Blog, which was to create something fun for your family to enjoy.  Sadly, this is the last challenge because the blog is being discontinued due to changes in the Cricut Circle.  I am very disappointed and will really miss the fun challenges and beautiful projects the the design team posts every day :-(
For the challenge, I thought it would be fun to create colouring books for my three children to keep them busy.  I chose a theme that each would enjoy - Hannah Montana, Spongebob Squarepants and Mickey Mouse.  I printed colouring pages from the internet to put into the books, so each book is 8.5"X11".
Here they are:

The cartridges/cuts I used are:
Hannah Montana - Hannah (cut at 8"), "Jenae" (cut at 2")
Spongebob Squarepants - Spongebob (cut at 6")
Mickey and Friends - Mickey and Pluto (cut at 6")
Mickey Font - "Jacob" (cut at 2")
Nate's ABC's - "Drew" (cut at 2")

I stapled all of the pages together at the left edge, then scored a 1.5"X11" strip of paper lengthwise to cover the edge.

Hope you like it!

#139 Mickey Font - Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Birthday

Hi everyone! My son's 2nd birthday was at the end of November and I just realized I forgot to show you the Mickey Mouse cake and banner I made for him!
Jacob LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so I just had to make him a cake featuring his favorite characters. With a little guidance from Google, I look at different cakes online and came up with this Clubhouse cake:

I used my Cricut cake to cut out the Mickey head, the clouds, stars, JACOB, and 2. I don't recall which cartridge the clouds were from, but I do know everything else was from Mickey Font, of course! My sister Leila was here to help me, so I need to give her some credit! She rolled the balls and made those adorable bees.
I also created this "Happy Birthday" banner using the Mickey and Friends cartridge along with the Mickey Font cartridge:
The banner flags were cut from Birthday Bash, which is my go-to cartridge for banners! There are quite a few different ones on there!

Well, thanks for stopping by and hope you like my projects!

Mickey Mouse Tag

Hi everyone! My son's second birthday is coming up next week, so this week I am going to be busy creating party decorations for him. He LOVES Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, so we are going to go with a Mickey Mouse theme this year!

For the challenge this week, at My Creative Time, Emma asked us to create a project using a kid-friendly cartridge. I chose the Mickey and Friend cartridge to create this cute gift tag

Mickey was cut at 2.75" and the tag was cut at 5".

"You make me smile" is a sentiment stamp by My Creative Time!

The pen stitching was done with Stampin' Up! markers and the fibers are from my fiber stash!

Hope you like it!

#50 Mickey and Friends - Minnie Shaped Card!

Hi everyone! Here is a sweet Minnie Mouse card I created for the challenge this week at Fantabulous Cricut. The challenge this week was to create a shaped card (something other than a square or rectangle).

I chose to use this Minnie Mouse as well as the name cut from the Mickey and Friends cartridge. Isn't she pretty?
I welded two 5 1/2" blackout Minnies together with my Gypsy to make the card base.
I then cut all of the Minnie Mouse pieces at 5 1/2" and attached to the card base.
"Minnie" was cut using the Gypsy and sized so it would cut at 4 1/4" - since
5 1/2" X 4 1/4" is the standard card size.
All of the cardstock used was from my scraps.
Hope you like it!

Toad-ally Fabulous Card

Hi everyone! Today I made a card for the challenge this week at Made By Momo. Her challenge is to make a "Just Because" card. I decided to make a card for one of the other circle members to send with a few goodies inside as a little RAK. Hope she likes it! I used Live Simply for the toad and grass, Mickey and Friends for the tree and Hello Kitty Greetings for the Cloud. Thanks for looking! Have a great weekend!
