Hello Sunshine - CC Designs Stamp

I'm still practicing using my Copic markers and I'm really enjoying using them. This adorable image is a CC Designs Sugarplums rubber stamp set called "Take a Seat" from All That Scraps the set can be found -HERE. This set has 12 images, 6 characters (5 girls 1 boy) and 6 seats (wagon, bench, chair etc.)
I've wanted to get a few CC Designs stamps from All That Scraps and thought this would be a great set to start with. The designer paper is from DCWV "The Green Stack" mat stack.

Copic colors used:
Hair: E31, E13, E 29
Skin: E50, E01, E35 cheeks R20
Shirt: C1 and Colorless blender
Shoes: R20, R22
Roses: R20, R22, R29
Leaves & Grass: G21, G28
Wall: E50, E13, E33
Shadow: C1

I decided to do a bit of paper piecing with this little girl's clothes, and I really liked this image above from the mat stack and though that would look so cute as her jacket.  So I decided to scan the image on my computer and make it smaller so the floral images would fit on her jacket, I like how it turned out. The pants are paper pieced too but not resized as the jacket was.

For the "Hello Sunshine" phrase I used a clear stamp with Versafine black ink.  This phrase is from My Craft SpotButterfly Kisses stamp set. I also used crinkle ribbon, Sunshine Yellow and Maraschino bakers twine from My Craft Spot.  The charm I've had in my stash for a long time.

Road Trip ... Fantabulous Cricut Challenge

Oh the amazing places we go and people we meet on our road trip journeys... I love to go... but then it's nice to get home to my own bed.

This weeks Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #25
Road Trip
Create a card or project incorporating a vacation or travel theme

My card celebrates "Places to go... and People to see"

I used Zoobaloo cartridge for the trees on page 72 of the handbook. Locker Talk was used for the fabulous car on page 37 of the handbook, I only used the car and shadow feature. I used a 3/4 " circle punch for the wheels then added a flower brad.

The road was made from a piece of black cardstock then I used a white gel pen for the lines. My printer was used for the saying "Places to go... People to see" tied on using ribbon and added a sunshine charm. I also use a tan ink all over my paper pieces.

Fun in the Sun -Challenge #17 at Meljen's

Thursday's are a great day for a new challenge along with new images at Meljen's. Melissa has created 5 new images that are so fun for summer days.

The challenge is to create an "easel card," this is my first time creating this fun card design, I got instructions for my easel card at Splitcoast Stampers -HERE.
I used the new "Brook at the Beach" digital stamp, I love this adorable care free image.

I used my copic markers to color the image, and George and Basic Shapes cricut cartridge to cut out the oval shapes. Text is printed from my computer.

Songbird -Note of Thanks

I love song birds and any cute birdie images, and Designed 2 Delight has an adorable digital stamp that is so sweet.
I colored using my copic markers and pulled out my old scalloped scissors for the scalloped edges. I love this background paper, it's from DCWV spring stack, and the little musical note charm I had in my stash was just the prefect embellishment to add to this card.

Flip Flops Summer Beach Card

I hope you are having fun in the sun... at Fantabulous Cricut it's time for "Challenge Me Monday"
Challenge #15
Summer Time at the Beach:
Create a project for summer using something you would find at the beach.

I would find flip flops, sunshine, and waves at the beach... a place to "Escape"
I used my new "Life is a Beach" cricut cartridge. The flip flops are on page 64 of the handbook and were cut at 3 3/4", the wave is on page 45 I used the border feature cut at 1 1/2", the escape word is on page 38 I used the Title Words feature cutting it out twice, then used scissors to cut off the leaf.
The hanging charms are a fun feature on the cartridge, I cut the charms at 1 1/4" the sun is on page 44, flip flops page 64, the wave on page 45. Then on page 70 is the solid background charm using the shift key, I placed behind each charm.

I'd Pick You

If friend were flowers I'd pick all my followers, what a lovely garden I would have, thank you for coming to visit my blog.... that makes me so happy.

This adorable bear image is a digital stamp fro Designed 2 Delight.

Using a photoshop program I was able to duplicate the image, erase the bear on one image leaving only the large flower, then duplicated the flower a few more times to place around the bears feet. Then using the text feature I added the well known quote "If friends were flowers I'd pick you".
Copic markers were used to color this image.
I added ribbon and charms along with a tiny prima flower for embellishments.
