Hi everyone,
This week at the Doodle Palace they had a new release of two cute digi stamps; Birthday Cow, and Marshmallows & Hot Dogs.
I'm a little late with my post but I wanted to show off my "Birthday Cow" card...
I use celebrations for the confetti, I did cut it at 3" but the confetti is quite narrow in areas and so instead of long streamers, there are mostly just swirls. Note: when cutting the confetti image larger than 4" is best.
Come see what the Doodle Palace Princess have created using these digi images -HERE.

Remember the balloon card I made a few days ago? I really loved the design and so wanted to made a few more, I thought they would be great to have on hand.
To view the details of this card go Here. I also have a simple cut file for the card and a photo tutorial of how I made the ribbon curly.

Fantabulous Cricut Challenge #001 -Balloon Shaped Card
Today is the day! Fantabulous Cricut Challenge Blog is having their very first challenge and the design team has created amazing projects for you to get inspiration from.
Our first challenge is to include a word and shape on your project:
Here is the card I made for the challenge. A balloon shaped card with layered party hat, and stars. I used the Celebrations Cricut cartridge for all images.
A simple Design Studio cut file available at the end of this post.
I tied the balloon using organdy ribbon but wanted to give it more of a curly effect.
Using my heat tool, I carefully waved it over the ribbon and the ribbon began to melt. The melting process happens very quickly so make sure the heat is not held on the ribbon to long.
I got just the look that I wanted for a curly balloon string effect.
I used tons of pop-dots to pop the pieces off the card.

My Favorite Things...
These are a few of my favorite things...
My family
Sunshine
Snowmen and Snowflakes
Smiling and Laughing out loud
Shooting Stars
Paper Crafting, and creating with the Cricut and Cuttlebug...
The list goes on....
I've created this blog is to share my love of paper crafting with my friends (and all the new friends I will make)
These two above cards were made using the "Walk in My Garden" Cricut cartridge and the "D'vine Swirls" and "Houndstooth" Cuttlebug embossing folders. Card sizes are 4".
"Celebrations" Cricut cartridge was used to make this sweet cupcake and words. I also used the "D'vine Swirls" Cuttlebug embossing folder (my favorite folder). I added stickles to the top of the cupcake (smeared it around a bit) to give it sparkle.
