Papertrey Ink May Blog Hop - Aqua and Melon

Hello everyone,

Hope your weekend is going well. Today, i'm sharing a card made for PTI May Blog Hop. Oh i love this color combo, and have seen them everywhere. The inspirational image is just gorgeous.

As i was writing this post, it hit me that i could have used the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch!... duh. Oh well, i guess i can try to make another card after coming back from church today. I'm also submitting this card to CASology: Week 96 Flower.

BIC #53

Hello friends!

I am so inspired by all the watercolored cards i've seen lately. So today i created a card using watercolor technique for BIC #53. First, I used washi tape to mask off the 4 edges, then simply swiped the brush across the card in different colors. Let it dry then stamped the image from Flower Doodles in black ink. Removed the washi tapes and stamped the sentiment.

Hey You Card Featuring Tri-Me Set

Good morning everyone!

Hope you had a great weekend! Today i'm sharing a one layer card using TAWS Tri-Me. I used Memento Bahama Blue, Rose Bud and WPlus9 White ink pads. When i started inking, i didn't really have a pattern in mind. I just lined up the corner of each triangle and wing it from there :).

Sparkly Baby Card

Good morning everyone!

Baby cards usually have soft color palettes. Today i'm sharing a baby with bold colors and sparkles.

I created my background with watercolors. I've been using an inexpensive watercolor kit i picked up at Target for a while. With watercolor techniques seen so often lately, i thought i'd invest in a quality watercolor set. I decided to go with Gansai watercolor kit... WOW i am in love it with. The colors are so vibrant and bright. LOVE LOVE it!

My stamp images are stamped on silver glittered card stock, fussy cut and hung using mini clothespins.

Good morning everyone,

How was your weekend? I'm sharing a quick card made with the mini set Baby On Board. The background is created with stencil and Copic Air-Brusing can. I bought this air can 2 years ago and this is the first time I've ever used it. I'm not sure because it's old or i had it too close, but the result is blotchy... not liking it too much.

I have another card made inspired by BIC #52. I used a tiny flower stamp in the set Awesome Blossom; sentiment is from BEE Sweet. I used several shade of green to create the ombre effect. Few tiny pearls added for a polish look.

Baby Boy Card

Good morning everyone! Hope you had a great weekend!

I have a baby boy card to share today. This little cute rattle is from a TAWS newly release set called Nap Time. I colored my rattle with Copics, mounted on a piece of watercolored paper using foam tape, then added few silver thread and enamel dot. My patterned paper is from Story Time pad.
