TAWS Speak Easy - Valentine Card

Hello,

Today i'm sharing a Valentine card using TAWS Speak Easy and heart stencil.  I placed the stencil over my cardstock and sketched within the heart shapes using Inktense colored pencils.  The banner is a Spellbinders die, i water colored the edge after die cutting it.  The sentiment is from TAWS set Speak Easy.  I bent the sentiment so it'd fit on the curved banner.

Have a great day everyone!  Thanks for visiting!

Supplies:
Stamps: The Alley Way Stamps (Speak Easy)
Other: Nestibility label die, Inktense water color pencils

PTI's 7th Anniversary Celebration - Day 7

It's the 7th day of PTI's Anniversary Celebration.  Today's challenge is to create a project that incorporates stripes in some way.

I made my stripes using a diagonal stripe stencil.  I sponged it with pearlescent jade, orange, and yellow.  Then i cut a piece of black cardstock using a die from Fabulous Frames collection.  The sentiment is from Birthday Bash Sentiment set.

I'm also submitting this card to CASology

Thanks for visiting.  Have a fabulous day!

Color Block Silhouette Card

For a while, I've been wanting to try the masking and color blocking technique Pam did on this card, but never got a chance to.  Just last week, CAS-ual Friday came out with Color Blocks challenge, i knew this is when i should try the technique.  As i was halfway done masking, i saw this template by the super talented JJ Bolton.  Thank you, JJ!.  I immediately abandoned my masking and started a new card.  I cut out the template using my Cameo.  I saved the cut out pieces and colored them with different colors.  Then inlay them back in the frame.  The sentiment is from PTI set Birthday Bash Sentiments

Here's my card.  Thanks for visiting!

I submitted this card to few challenges:

Hello everyone!  Today i'm sharing a card  i made with Flower Doodles set by The Alley Way Stamps.  I simply stamped the flower in Delicata Ink to create the background.  LOVE it!  The Thank You sentiment is cut with Silhouette Cameo and backed with a piece of gold glittered card stock.

To continue with TAWS 3rd birthday celebration, i'm giving a way a stamp set call Pieces to one of my followers (see the image below).  Please leave a comment below by 5am TAWS time on January 10.  I'll announce a lucky winner the same morning.

Once Upon a Time - The Alley Way Stamps

Hello everyone!  Today i'm sharing with you a card made with super cute set called Once Upon a Time.   This fun set is FREE when you spend $40.00 or more (after discount) during the month of January.

I created the background using a stencil i made with my Silhouette Cameo.  The castle was colored with Copic Markers.  For the sentiment, i inked each row separately then combined them into 2 rows, instead of 4 originally.  Few gemstones added to finish the look.  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

P.S: I'm hosting a small give away on Thursday.  See you then!

Runway Inspired Challenge #50 - Mathew Williamson

This is my second post for today.  Please scroll down for BE Inspired Challenge #45 post.

I'm sharing with you a card i made for RIC #50 and CAS-ual Friday #125.

The colors are inspired by RIC #50 and the sentiment is by CEF #125... encouragement to be the best.

On RIC's image, I love how the bold, green color is offset by the lovely soft flowers on her jacket.  To mimic the translucent look of those flowers, i used vellum for mine.  I used my Cameo to cut the flower and the sunburst stencil.  I then sponged the pattern on my card.  The sentiment is by Avery Elle (Handwritten Notes)

Just in case you're wondering, the stencil was made using stencil blank from Hobby Lobby.  And the settings were as following: blade=3, speed=2, thickness=33, double cut.

Here's my card:
