Merry Christmas Eve

Hello and Merry Christmas Eve friends,

I hope you are having a wonderful time with friends and family.

I'm here to share another card submitted for SSS Wednesday Challenge: Make It Sparkle and SSS Monday Challenge: Winter Wonderland.  On this card, I used: SSS Peace on Earth, Echo Park Oh Christmas Tree Stencil, and Distress Ink Evergreen Bough.  The "holiday" was die cut out of glitter paper.

Thanks so much, Happy Holidays!

A Card for Simon Says Challenges

Hello,

Just a quick post to share a card created for Simon Says Wednesday Challenge: Make It Sparkle and Simon Says Monday Challenge: Winter Wonderland.  I used SSS Snowflake dies on some glittered paper to make the snowflakes.  The sentiment is from TAWS Mistletoe Kisses.  And the background is Distress Ink Tumbled Glass.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

PTI January 2015 Blog Hop

WOW I almost forgot about PTI Blog Hop today... not until 5pm when i saw the blog hop card on Lisa's blog.  Here's my take on the heart challenge.

First i wanted to have the pink hearts cascading down, but then i thought that would be too many hearts and distracted from the heart in the word "LOVE".  So i went with light blue dots.

I stamped the word "LOVE", then die cut "you" overlapping on top.  Next i die cut 3 more "you" and glue underneath to add dimension.  Few sequins added to finish the look.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

I'm also added this card to:

Watercolored Love U Card

Hello everyone,

I'm sharing a card made for few challenges.
To make this card, first i die cut a heart on a piece of cardstock to make a template.  Put the template over a 4x5.25 piece of card stock, then stamped the flowers using water color technique (I used Inktense watercolor pencils: water the stamps first and scribbled the colored pencils on top, then stamped).  Next i die cut 'Love U' from my stamped floral background.  Die cut 'Love U' 3 more times from scrap paper to layer and add dimension.  Now my focal sentiment looks like thickers.  Before putting 'Love U' back to the floral background, i colored the sides with red Copics.

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Have a great evening!

Supplies:
Stamps: WPlus9 (Fresh Cut Florals)
Dies: PTI (Headline Alphabet Die)
Paper: PTI (white, raspberry fizz)
Other: Inktense watercolor pencils

Runway Inspired Challenge #47 - Alberta Ferretti

Hello ladies,

Have you seen the inpirational picture for this week's challenge at Runway Inpired Challenge?  It's gorgeous.  I couldn't help but play along.  This card is made for RIC#47 and Simon Says... Keep It Clean and Simple

I used Copic markers to make the stripes and the flowers are from Fresh Cut Florals set.  Thanks for stopping by... hope you have a fabulous week!

Here's my card:

Runway Inspired Christmas Card

Today i'm sharing a card i made for Runway Inspired #46Simon Says... ChristmasAddictied to Stamps and More #67, MarkerPOP #32 Challenges.

I played around with several combos of copic colors before choosing R20, R22, and R24.  The poinsettia and sentiment stamps are from PTI's Year Of Flowers: Poinsettias set.  The outlined flowers on my card are inspired by the pattern on the skirt, and the red poinsettia... well obviously from the red jacket.  I added the pink button but it blended it in a bit too well.  Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful evening!

Ghost Halloween Card... Mass Produced

Halloween is approaching quickly.  I need total of 28 Halloween cards for the kids and teachers in my sons' classes.  I made 18 of these last night, using CAS(E) this Sketch #49... 10 more to go.  I'm loving this blog lately... i don't have to spend much time contemplating on the sketches anymore :).  The ladies on CAS(E) this Sketch always come up with great sketches...

Here's my card:

I die cut bunches of ghosts and tag, stamped the tags and sentiment... then let the assembly began :).  Took me total of 3 hours for 18 cards.  I added sequins for this challenge, but the cards to be handed out to the kids won't have any sequins.

I'm also submitting this card to Simon Says Use a Rubber or Clear Stamp Challenge
Thanks for visiting!

Another Birthday Card...

Hello everyone.  Hope your weekend is going well!

It seems to me that there're more birthdays in October than any other months :)...  My sons, both have friends' birthday in October.  My older son's birthday is also in October.  Lately, our weekends have been involving  mostly with birthday parties.  I made this card for another little girl's birthday.  I used CAS(E) this Sketch #49, the colors are from colourQ challenge #210.  It also fits Simon Says... Use a Rubber or a Clear Stamp Challenge and MarkerPOP Blog Challenge.

Here's my card:

The balloon is colored with various Copic markers.  The balloon stamp is from PTI's set Up Up & Away.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Happy set

I'll be back later to share another Halloween card i mass produced.  Thanks for stopping by.  Have a great evening!

A Little Girl's Birthday Card and Simon Says Challenge

I'm sharing a card i made for my son's classmate.  She's turning 4 and having a Pancake-Pajama birthday party tomorrow morning.  I also submit this card to Simon Says... We're Going Dotty Challenge.  I made a boo-boo stamping this card, but it's so late here, so i'm sorta lazy fixing it :)

Good night everyone!!

Moxie Fab World: All That Glitters is Gold Challenge and CAS(E) this Sketch #47

I'm sharing another card today that i made for my sister's friend who just got married.  I've known her since they went to middle school together.  I'm submitting this card to Moxie Fab World: All That Glitters is Gold, CAS(E) this Sketch #47, and SSS Wednesday.

I used PTI Boutique Borders: Love mini set.  I carefully inked the stamp to avoid the straight lines on the sides.  I also stamped them closely so they look like one single border stamp.  The gold embossing powder is also by PTI (love it!).  In many Asian cultures, red is considered a good color for wedding;  but I didn't want to make a red card, so i cut 2 strips of red card stock added as part of the borders.

Thanks again for stopping by!

CAS(E) this Sketch #47 and SSS Challenges

Hello everyone! Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Today, I'm sharing a card that i made for CAS(E) this Sketch #47Sweet Stamp Shop, and Simon Says Wednesday Challenges.  I started out with stamping different colors on the Drops Background stamp by Sweet Stamp Shop.  Then i randomly added gemstones and Star Dust Stickles.  The sentiment is from the set Oh Happy Day by Avery Elle - my absolute favorite sentiment set yet!

Thank you for stopping by, hope you have a great week!

Papertrey Ink September Blog Hop

Good morning everyone!

For couple days,  I've been thinking of the The General Craft Supplies Challenge on Moxie Fab World.  Since we all have too much of general craft supplies, that becomes overwhelming.  I really couldn't narrow down which craft supplies I'd use :).  Then suddenly it clicked when i saw PTI September Wreath Blog Hop... I'd make a wreath card using Jute.

It took a bit more time wrapping the wreath (much more than i anticipated), but i do like the final product.  I use PTI rustic cream paper and the sentiment is from the new set Holiday Cheer.  The rolled flowers die is by MFT and made with felt.  Here's my card:
