Happy Birthday Balloon Card

Hello friends,

Today, i'm sharing a card made for Avery Elle Challenge: Masking and Addicted to CAS: Mask.  I started by inking the yellow balloon, then masked it and ink the pink balloon.  I trimmed my balloon card stock, and inked the borders using AE's All Squared Up.  I adhered my balloon card stock on the base using foam tape.  Finally, i added the rest of the sentiment, the strings, and few sequins.

Thanks for stopping by.  Have a wonderful day!

Supplies:
Stamps: Avery Elle (Balloons, All Squared Up, and Handwritten Notes)
Inks: Tsukineko Memento Luxe (Dandelion, Rose Bud)
Sequins: Avery Elle (Winter Blend)
Paper: Papertrey Ink

Runway Inspired Challenge #50 - Mathew Williamson

This is my second post for today.  Please scroll down for BE Inspired Challenge #45 post.

I'm sharing with you a card i made for RIC #50 and CAS-ual Friday #125.

The colors are inspired by RIC #50 and the sentiment is by CEF #125... encouragement to be the best.

On RIC's image, I love how the bold, green color is offset by the lovely soft flowers on her jacket.  To mimic the translucent look of those flowers, i used vellum for mine.  I used my Cameo to cut the flower and the sunburst stencil.  I then sponged the pattern on my card.  The sentiment is by Avery Elle (Handwritten Notes)

Just in case you're wondering, the stencil was made using stencil blank from Hobby Lobby.  And the settings were as following: blade=3, speed=2, thickness=33, double cut.

Here's my card:

I'm also linking this card to Artistic Inspirations #72

Thanks so much for stopping by.  Hope you have a wonderful day!!

Tuesday Trigger: Apache Tears in the Key of Autumn

I love the colorful inspirational picture of this week's Tuesday Trigger, so i'm playing along.

I used PTI's Autumn Pattern Pieces stamp set, and Memento's Rose Bud, Tangelo, London Fog, Dandelion, Rhubarb Stalk and Brilliance Sky Blue.  The alphabet dies are by Avery Elle, using the technique seen here by JJBolton.  I stacked the alphabets in 4 layers, so they look like Thickers.

Thank you for visiting, and as always, your comments are greatly appreciated.  Have a wonderful afternoon!!
