---------------------------------------------------

Hello everyone, hope you've had a wonderful weekend.

This weekend, i took my sons to Folly Beach see Morris Island light house.  The light house was built on a small island/sand bar in 1767, now completely surrounded by water due to changing current and erosion.  There's a fund raising project to save the light house.  You can read more about it here.  My sons were very excited to go because it said that some people found shark teeth at the end of Folly Island.  We geared up with toy buckets and shovels, but didn't get any luck.  We found some nice shells though.  Here's a picture with the light house in the background:

Lately, I've been busy cutting stencils on my Silhouette Cameo.  Actually, cutting stencil is the only thing I've been doing with it... it's getting a bit addicting.  Today, I'm giving away some of the stencils i have.  Here are the list: Heart, Quatrefoil, Random Dots, Random Hexagon, Random Triangle, Sun Burst, Tea Stain, Triangles, Chevron, Circles Stripes, and Tweed.

If you are interested, please be a follower of my blog and list the name of the 5 stencils would like to have in your comment.  I will randomly draw 2 lucky winners, each will receive 5 stencils.  You have until midnight EST of 10/26 to enter.  Winners will be announced on Monday, 10/27.  Make sure to book mark this post, I'll update this post with the winners.

Please come over to Jennifer's blog to check out the gorgeous card she made with tweed stencil.

Thank you for stopping by.  Hope you have a wonderful week!

Hello everyone!  Today i'm sharing with you a card made with super cute set called Once Upon a Time.   This fun set is FREE when you spend $40.00 or more (after discount) during the month of January.

I created the background using a stencil i made with my Silhouette Cameo.  The castle was colored with Copic Markers.  For the sentiment, i inked each row separately then combined them into 2 rows, instead of 4 originally.  Few gemstones added to finish the look.  Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful day!

Runway Inspired Challenge #50 - Mathew Williamson

This is my second post for today.  Please scroll down for BE Inspired Challenge #45 post.

I'm sharing with you a card i made for RIC #50 and CAS-ual Friday #125.

The colors are inspired by RIC #50 and the sentiment is by CEF #125... encouragement to be the best.

On RIC's image, I love how the bold, green color is offset by the lovely soft flowers on her jacket.  To mimic the translucent look of those flowers, i used vellum for mine.  I used my Cameo to cut the flower and the sunburst stencil.  I then sponged the pattern on my card.  The sentiment is by Avery Elle (Handwritten Notes)

Just in case you're wondering, the stencil was made using stencil blank from Hobby Lobby.  And the settings were as following: blade=3, speed=2, thickness=33, double cut.

Here's my card:
