Crafters of Faith 1st Group challenge

hi there,
This card was a real joy to create. Our blogging group, Crafters of Faith, was challenged by our Leader- Kelly, to create a card or scrapbook page that should include an image of something that best depicts your thoughts and heart-feelings of what Genesis and the creation means to you and at least one of these colors of the creation: Yellow, Blue, Green and/or Brown!

have the yellow, blue, a little green but also added purple (for royalty)

Changed my mind so many times in making this card. Decided finally on creating a night and day background with the butterfly representing our change when we "put off the old man" and "put on the new" when we accept his wonderful gift of salvation! When our Lord created this world for us, he knew we would need a Saviour...so John 3:16 naturally comes to mind....

Can't wait to pop around to the rest of the group's blogs and see what they created!

have a blessed day,

Black n White with piercing

hi there - trying to stay cool here LOL

Made this card last night for two challenges:
Stampin Sisters in Christ - black and white which has the most tremendous post by Grace. I have printed it and will be using with the ladies at the jail Bible Study.
Our Daily Bread - piercing challenge

Love both of these challenges - hope you can see my piercing around my clear embossed butterflies.
what doesnt show in pic is the glossy accents and black stickles I used on the flower images...

always amazed at the difference it makes in "where" you take the pictures ...the top one is inside with setting on automatic and the bottom two are both taken outside...neither pic even shows the lace underneath the black ribbon. This is definitely so prettier IRL

STAY COOL!!!
Hugs and blessings
