STV's Center Stage Spotlight Group Hop - Inspiration Challenge

Hi there,
Welcome to our June STV Center Stage Spotlight Group Hop...if you are hopping you should have come from the awesome blog of sweet team mate Karen Knegten ......

This month we were challenged to use this gorgeous inspiration from Vicki Dutcher ...

I absolutely fell in love with this!
Many times I receive emails and comments on how much they like what I create but don't have "the time"..trust me...I don't have the time either LOL...so when I saw this from Vicki...whooo hoooo!
I printed it and let it be the main focus on my project below....I had already started this $1.00 notebook some time ago by painting it using acrylic blue paint and stamped a vine with gesso! But it has sat in my "to finish" pile for quite some time... But when I saw this photo, it was perfect for my notebook.
I added the printed photo, stash lace, GKD organdy ribbon with Scotch Quick-Dry Adhesive. Then stamped the bird and sentiment from GKD's Birds and Blossoms by Theresa Momber using Memento Black.  There is also a leaf stamp added from the GKD Stamp Kit "Signs of Autumn" using Memento Danube Blue. Colored the bird...DONE!

so no time! well, this took 20 minutes!!! Let this gorgeous photo inspiration do the work for you (-:

Bird colored with Copics: B23, 29, E04, Y17, YG95 and G09...outlined edges by very lightly sponging with Memento Grape.

Hope you were inspired - this one is an easy one to recreate!

Next stop is our talented teammate (and a grandma again!) Miesje Flach...

Two Design Team Challenges

hi there,
Not having power for 4 days really set me back...so to catch up I'm going to post
two Design Team challenges in this post...

First Challenge was to have gone live on Friday for the  Copic/Promarker Design Team at the Outlawz challenging you to create with theme...
FASHION
I'm using an adorable Phindy image from Phindy's Place...she's all dressed up and ready to celebrate (-:

Second Challenge was to have gone live on Saturday for the Sugar Creek Hollow vintage or shabby chic project ...using this beautiful photo inspiration.
I created my card using stamp set from GKD
Both cards were colored with Copics...

well that was quicker and saved everyone from going into two separate posts....
Hope you get to play in both challenges (-:

looking forward to seeing what you create
hugs,

PS after this snowstorm, DH and I see a BIGGGGG generator in our future...
soon as they go on sale (-:

STV Free For All Friday Challenge

Hi there,
Managed to squeeze in a quick CAS card for Carolina's challenge over at STV - here's the challenge:

Carolina's challenge is called Lazy Summer Days. Here are the details:

1.Create a CAS (Clean and Simple) card.
2.The theme should be "Summer".
3.You can stamp your image but don't color it in. This means you can't use any coloring tools - no Copics, no markers, no color pencils, no crayons, no chalks, etc. This is where the "Lazy" comes in!

so here's mine - flowers are summer, right!! I used GKD's "Picture it" set

I love everyone else's CAS cards...hate my own...oh well!!!
thank goodness the winner for this challenge is picked at random (-:

it is fun to have a card done in under 20 minutes!!
have a beautiful day

supplies:
cs - GKD white and cranberry
ink - SU Purely Pomegranate and Ranger's Aged Mahogany
stash ribbon

STV Sketch Challenge

Hi there, had a chance last night to actually create a card just for fun!! wanted to enter Stamp TV's Sketch challenge for this week

I immediately thought of little images - since I love the little creatures in the Quite a Catch set...
here's my card

arent they adorable! used SU ink "Tempting Turquoise" and Memento Black. Cardstock is GKD - Turquoise Sea and stash design paper (I think its Websters)....here are the Copics..oh and used Nestie's Labels Four....

ok - off to work - supposed to be beautiful here....am really feeling so blessed especially since the catastrophe that has hit Japan. We know God has this in His plan, but hearts go out to these people.
I sit here in my home and while I enjoy it all - it really is meaningless . Knowing Jesus - loving Him and serving Him are the most important - those are what lasts for an eternity.
Praying for the people in Japan - dont know how anyone could face all they have to face without the Lord...

Have a blessed day,

Joan's Garden Challenge

hi there,
beautiful weekend here - and so enjoyed it

this week combined two favorite challenges Joans Garden challenge to:
• Use designer paper for your background
• Use no other stamping except for a sentiment and frame (such as a JustRite Stamp)
• Use all the embellishments you would like to use
• Use some kind of dimension on the card (such as a flower

and this week's color challenge at STV:

I think they were tough (-:

Had some dp from Tim Holtz that I thought worked...
used GKD's "Lovely Labels" by Nina Brackett and the sentiment from "Aloha" by Theresa Momber

hmmmm, I've been doing so much coloring for the Heartfelt Creations blog that to make a card where i've only stamped..feels strange (-:   but nice to have a card done in under a half hour rather than the 4 hours it sometimes takes me...

have a blessed day - I'm out of here really early in the morning
hugs,
