More Birthday Elephants

More long-time card parts. The elephants, balloons and sentiment are from WPlus9, I believe. I colored with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. The patterned paper is from Gina K.

Birthday Elephants

These cute little elephants (I think from WPlus9) have been in my cards parts book for many, many years. I colored these with OLO markers that I got from a friend. I couldn't bring all of my Copics on the retreat, so I brought the OLO markers. I can't say I'm in love with them, but they were nice to have for these cards. (I notice now that I forgot to color the "toenails" on this first one!) The woven stamped image is from Gina K, as is the sentiment. I used foam squares for mounting.

Unforgettable Birthday

In my card parts, I have a few of these elephants, balloons and sentiments from WPlus9. One set down! The pieces were stamps and die-cut. I colored the balloon and elephant with Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol. They are mounted on foam squares. The sentiment is matted and added to the panel.

Happy Birthday, Lucy!

Happy Birthday to my friend from forever ago! Hope your day yesterday was fabulous.

A couple more of my "card parts." Again, the elephant and balloon were stamped and die-cut when I was with friends last spring. I colored them with Copics and mounted them on foam squares. The images are from WPlus9. The patterned paper is from Michael's, but I don't remember who it's from. The sentiment is also from WPlus9 and is matted and mounted on foam squares.

Dotted Elephant

More "card parts." I stamped and die-cut the elephant and the balloon when I was in Omaha last spring. I colored the elephant almost right away, and then the pieces went into my "stash." They have finally surfaced and made it on to a card:) They are from WPlus9.

I used Copic markers for coloring and a white gel pen for the dots. I mounted the pieces on foam squares. The sentiment is from a miscellaneous stamp that I've had laying around for a long time - not sure who made it. I embossed the bottom layer with a Darice "Wire Fence" folder and matted with matching blue cardstock.

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter to all who celebrate this joyous event!

This is the only Easter card that I made. When I was in Omaha with friends, I stamped and die cut several images from an Easter set from WPlus9. (Thanks, Sheri!) I colored several pieces with Copic markers, but never got time to make them into cards. I quickly put this one together. I matted the sentiment, and I mounted the basket on foam squares. The inside includes a bunny that I colored, also.
