Three more sympathy cards and three more card parts used up. The stamped images were in my card parts book. I'm not sure who the maker of the stamp is, as I stamped these many years ago. I added the sentiment to each one - from Bo Bunny. The patterned paper on these cards is from various companies - 7 Gypsies, Gina K and Die Cuts With a View. I also added thin cardstock strips along each of the stamped panels.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
A place for me to share the cards I create, and maybe a few other things, too!

Another "Fancy-Fold" Card
I made kits of this card to share in Ankeny, per a request I got from someone in the group. I have posted a card like this before, but thought I'd share this one, anyway. The folded pieces are one inch by two and a half inches. The corners are folded up at 45 degree angles and glued on to the card front. I scored some decorative lines with my Scor-Pal and added the sentiment, stamped in copper ink, which is from a Technique Tuesday set that I bought at the store's garage sale.

Masculine and Butterfly Birthday
These two cards are related, so you get them both today:) The old car stamp on this card is from a Tim Holtz set. The plain paper on the bottom and the patterned paper on the top are both from a 7 Gypsies pad I got at Archiver's several years ago. The sentiment is a Mrs. Grossman's sticker placed on the patterned paper. The tiny strip above it is the same paper, also. I added a thin strip of ivory cardstock between the papers.
The butterfly on this second card is the last one I have from Martha Stewart. I think the sentiment is from Stampendous, but I'm not sure. The bottom pattern was stamped using an old Stampin' Up! background stamp. And I used a little bit more ribbon.

Simple Retirement
Surprise - not a Christmas card today! :) I still have more to share, though.
A friend retired a few weeks ago, and there was a party for him on Friday. I realized I hadn't made him a card yet, so this is the card I made. It was easy because it's such a classic layout and I've used it before. The patterned paper is from a stack by 7 Gypsies. The sentiment is die-cut. The card base and plain cardstock is ivory.

Repeat Impressions WHAT IF? Wednesday Sketch
Time for another WHAT IF? Wednesday. Wendy, the owner and creator of all the Repeat Impressions stamps, gives us a sketch to work with, and we create the cards and invite you to play along. Visit the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built, for all the details and to see what the Design Team has come up with. One lucky winner for the month will win a $25 gift certificate to RI. Create your card, upload it, and link it to the blog. You can also follow these links to the other Rock Stars' blogs:
Here is the sketch for this time. For my card, I used the same stamp as yesterday's card - Comfy Chair, available on this page. I paper pieced it again, using four different patterns from a 7 Gypsies paper pad. In fact, all the papers are from the same pad, except the black matting. The sentiment is from Repeat Impressions, also. The chair panel is mounted on Dimensionals.
Don't forget about the Designer's Choice challenge using watercoloring. You can find the details on that challenge here.
