 Story:

Casey Beldon has nightmarish hallucinations of strange-looking dogs in the neighbourhood and an evil child with bright blue eyes following her around. While babysitting Matty, her neighbor's son, she finds him showing his infant sibling its reflection in a mirror. Matty attacks Casey, smashing the mirror on her head, and tells her: "Jumby wants to be born now". She puts him to bed and leaves in shock.

Casey's friend Romy tells her of a superstition that newborns should not see their reflections in the mirror for at least a year because otherwise they will die soon. Casey's eyes begin to change color; a doctor asks if she is a twin, and explains the change as tetragametic chimerism and heterochromia, and that is completely normal. Her neighbor's infant dies, supporting the superstition.

Casey's father admits that she had a twin brother years ago who died while he was in the womb when her umbilical cord strangled him, and whom he and Casey's mother had nicknamed "Jumby". She begins to suspect that the spirit is haunting her and that is the soul of her dead twin wanting to be born so it can enter the world of the living as evil.

Casey meets Sofi Kozma—whom she later learns is her grandmother—who explains that as a child she had a twin brother who died during Nazi experiments in Auschwitz during World War II. A dybbuk brought the brother back to life to use as a portal into the world of the living. Kozma killed her twin to stop the spirit, and now it haunts her family for revenge, which is why Casey's mother became insane and committed suicide.

Kozma gives Casey a hamsa amulet for protection; instructs her to destroy all mirrors and burn the shards; and refers her to Rabbi Joseph Sendak, who can perform a Jewish exorcism to remove the dybbuk out of her soul. Sendak does not believe Casey's story until he sees a dog with its head twisted upside down in his synagogue. The dybbuk kills Kozma and, soon after, Romy. Casey and her boyfriend Mark—who both see the spirit after it kills Romy—realize that it is getting stronger.

Sendak, Mark, Episcopal priest Arthur Wyndham, and other volunteers begin the exorcism, but the dybbuk attacks them and several are wounded or killed. The spirit, having possessed the priest, chases Casey and Mark. Mark knocks Wyndham unconscious but gets possessed. Casey stabs Mark in the neck with the amulet; Sendak arrives and he and Casey complete the exorcism. The rite draws the dybbuk out of the human world, but Mark falls and dies during the separation.

Casey mourns her boyfriend but still wonders why the dybbuk became suddenly active in her life now, and why it didn't attack her earlier. She takes a pregnancy test, and learns that she is pregnant by Mark, with twins.

I decided to end the chinese ghost month with watching this movie as a tribute to those "unborn" baby ghost, lol~ ok stop with the silliness of me... For me, this movie is just ok, even though rewatching it didn't helps to increase the score that i will give to the movie... Storyline is very predictable; too much sexy scene of Odette Yudtman makes this movie feel cheap....

Story:

Kyle is a diamond dealer whom almost face bankruptcy. Inside his glamorous house, Sarah his wife and Avery the daughter were arguing whether Avery can attend a party. Avery sneaked out from the house and climb out through fence after shutting down one of the alarm part to let herself escape to meet her friend.

Sarah wore her best lingerie & nice black dress to please Kyle but Kyle was worry about his business and decided to go out. But the security guard appeared on the telecom and request them to open the door to check whether there is robberies inside their house. But Sarah realize Avery has gone missing and shout to Kyle. Kyle realize the dangerous and wanted to shut the door but the security guards broke in. They are not security guards but 4 robberies instead.

The robberies seems like know everything about them including their life and the house alarm system. They shut down the system to prevent the security company from knowing it. They threaten to kill Sarah if Kyle did not hands out the diamond to them from the safety box. After a several punches, Kyle open up the safety and everyone was shocked that there are nothing inside. Kyle claims that he has face bankruptcy and has nothing left beside debts. On a disappointment, Sarah realize that one of the robbery is the security guard whom she almost has an affair with, Jonah. The rest of the robberies are, Elias (Jonah's older brother), Petal (a strip dancer, Elias' girlfriend) & Tye (Elias' debtor).

Avery came back from the party because a young boy wanna have chem sex with her by paying her cash. The robberies caught her and threw her with the parents. The robberies get freak off because there were no diamonds and cash for them. But from a picture, they saw that Sarah has a expensive diamond necklace, they went through the house and found the necklace. But Kyle claims that the necklace is fake and from a flee market. Elias crash it and discover it is really fake. Tye decided to kill the Millers, then Avery told them she can get them money from the young boy's party. Petal follow her along to the party, while driving, Avery turn the car and crash into a pole while unbutton the seat belt of Petal's. Petal get injured and Avery chain her up while getting back to her parents.

Sarah stole the narcotic from Elias and in the end Kyle injected it at Tye to make him unconscious. Elias realize Petal was in trouble and wanted to kill Avery but Sarah protected her. Jonah kill Elias instead to protect Sarah whom he has fall for. A fight in the house renovation part exposed the huge money which was hide by Kyle at there. Kyle use the nail gun to nailed Jonah at there and fire burn up to burn him alive. The Millers lost all including the house and money but they were safe in the end.

I love this movie so much, kinda exciting and new to me. The storyline is good and almost all scene are important and exciting. The most exciting part will be the fighting part at the renovation house.

And its been a long time i didnt watch any movie of Nicole Kidman :) She still looks good but you can actually see the wrinkles~ lol...

Priest 2011

Story:

In the future, the war between humans and vampires has devastated the world. The Church, the future incarnation of the Roman Catholic Church, created an elite spiritual warrior organization, dubbed "Priests", who were capable of slaying vampires. The majority of the vampires were killed while the remainder were placed in reservations. To protect the humans, The Church created isolated, heavily guarded cities. No longer needing the Priests' services, the Church disbanded them.

One day an unnamed Priest, is approached by Hicks, the sheriff of a nearby town. Hicks tells him that his brother Owen was mortally wounded, sister-in-law (and ex girlfriend, Shannon) were killed by vampires and Priest's niece Lucy was kidnapped. Hicks asks for Priests assistance in tracking down Lucy. Priest goes against the wishes of Monsignor Orelas, the Church's leader, to do so. Monsignor Orelas then sends a group of four Priests led by Priestess to capture him and bring him back, dead or alive.

After saying goodbye to his dying brother, Priest and Hicks arrive at a vampire reservation, where they discover that the vampires have taken shelter in Mira Sola. Mira Sola is a vampire hive where Priest lost several of his comrade Priests in a botched mission. There, they are joined by Priestess, who decides to help him because she is in love with him. The group discover that the vampires are using trains to travel, slowly amassing a new army and intending to attack the Priest's city, killing the survivors and destroying the Church. They also discover that the inhabitants of Mira Sola had tunneled to the city of Jericho, where the other three Priests had been dispatched by Priestess.

Once in Jericho, the other three Priests are soon confronted by Black Hat, who was one of the Priests who was thought to have been killed in the botched mission at Mira Sola. Black Hat asks the three Priests to become one with the vampire family, but crucifies them when they refuse leaving their bodies to hang on crosses. Black Hat and his army of vampires then proceed to slaughter the entire town. After Priest, Priestess, and Hicks find the corpses of the three Priests, they discover Black Hat's trail and follow him, eventually catching up to his train along with the other vampires.

While Priestess plants a bomb on the railroad tracks in order to stop the train, Priest and Hicks board the train and confront Black Hat and the vampires and familiars (people infected with a pathogen that makes them subservient to the vampires). Black Hat overpowers both Priest and Hicks. Black Hat reveals that the vampire Queen gave him her blood, turning him into the first vampire-human hybrid. He asks Priest to join him. Priest refuses and fights Black Hat, who reveals the truth of Lucy's parentage to the girl. After the explosives are damaged in a fight with the familiars, Priestess straps the bomb to her motorcycle and crashes it into the train. The explosion kills the vampires and incinerates Black Hat, but Hicks, Priest, and Lucy are able to escape.

Priest returns to the city and confronts Monsignor Orelas, telling him of the burnt train containing the vampires bodies, which he proves by throwing a vampire head onto the floor. Monsignor Orelas believes that the war is over and Priest's proof is trickery; Priest tells him that its just beginning. Monsignor Orelas and Priest are at odds with each other when Priest leaves, Priest refusing to even listen to Monsignor Orelas as he walks out. Once he leaves the city and meets with Priestess, she reveals that the other Priests have been notified and will meet them at a rendezvous. Priest sets off with Priestess to meet the other Priests.

Love this very much and finally i have the chance to watch it on the big screen last night. Paul Bettany is definitely a hottie and Cam Gigandet is no doubt a hot stud at all~ Maggie Q definitely took my breath away with her hot look and fit clothes on her.

The story is nice and the ending is the best, it left for us to think whether the production team is gonna shoot the next sequel or not, well... i hope they do... :)

Story:

Ali Rose is a young, hard-done-by girl who works in a bar in a small town in Iowa. Her boss hasn't paid her for two months and she has finally had enough. She takes what he owes her from the till and decides to leave for Los Angeles to pursue her dream of singing. After a fruitless day of searching for jobs in her new home, she winds up at a burlesque bar and becomes enthralled with the whole concept. She tries to persuade Tess to let her go on stage but Tess won't hear her out.

Ali meets the friendly bartender Jack and starts to waitress for him because she knows this is where she belongs. Later, Tess auditions Ali and hires her as a dancer to replace a newly pregnant dancer named Georgia. One night, Nikki, the most famous dancer in this bar, gets drunk and is not allowed to perform by Tess, so Ali takes her place. Nikki cuts the music out of jealousy, but Ali impresses everyone with her own voice. She becomes the new star of this bar and earns it a reputation.

Ali had some dates with a successful businessman named Marcus before she realizes that her true love is Jack, whom she has to share an apartment with after her hotel room is robbed. Meanwhile, running out of money, Tess is worried that she has to sell the bar to Marcus, who intends to tear down the club and build a skyscraper. Finally, Ali helps Tess solve the problem by selling the air right of this place to another businessman. Tess has financial resources and Ali stays at the bar as its most valuable star.

After waiting for a long time, Burlesque finally come to Malaysia. I was unable to watch it at the 1st time until now. A movie never to be missed. With her powerful voice and her voluptuous body, xtina definitely owned this film. But Cher's "The Last of Me" is certainly a great performance which is memorable enough until it won several awards, bravo.

The whole film is damn gorgeous, but not so compatible to the bitchy Moulin Rogue, lol. And Cam Gigandet's butt is a must-watch in the whole film, yummy~

Story:

Bella moves to Fork and stay with her father Charlie when her mother, Renee is marrying to a new guy. In the new place, she met Jacob and his father whose friend of Charlie. In the school, she hang around with Jessica and gang. But Bella was deeply attracted to the mysterious beautiful people gang, especially Edward.

Edward being strange keeps on avoiding Bella until one certain event when Bella was almost hit by a truck, Edward came to rescue in a incredible fast speed and huge strength to stop the truck. Bella try to search about Edward's details and discover he is a vampire. Edward tried to scare her off but Bella willing to be with Edward.

Edward brought her to meet the Cullen family. Carlisle, the father who turn all of them becoming vampire and Esme the mother. Alice the vampire who can read future based on what other has decided; Rosalie the prettiest among the vampire; Jasper a new vampire but weak control; Emmett the strongest. There were a few killing series in Fork and people are worrying.

On a baseball event of the Cullen family with Bella, three foreign vampires were here. James whom has a good sense immediately sensed Bella is a human and try to hunt her down with Victoria, James' mate. Laurent, their friend came to Cullen and warned them to becareful. Edward decided to drive Bella out of the country with the help of others. James trickily used Renee's sound to attract Bella back and tried to turn her into a vampire too. But in the end, Edward beat him down and the gang ripped James into pieces and burn him death.

Bella was saved by Carlisle and Edward by cleansing her venom blood which bit by James. Finally they went to their school prom together but Jacob appeared and warned Bella to stay away from Edward while Victoria angrily watching them from far apart.

Ok ok, i know i m slow to watch the 1st movie after 2 years later. I was not attracted to this movie at all though i love vampire's movie in 2008. I thought "just some teenager movie, i'm not gonna watch, most probably its not gonna be a hit either"...

But out of surprise, the sequel came out again last year and the 3rd one in this year... and i was like "shit, how can a movie freak like me miss out this vampy movie?" so finally i turn on the DVD...

Shit man, its nice... how can i miss this in the big screen on the first time? i'm so gonna watch the 2nd movie and hell i'm gonna watch the 3rd one in the cinema :)

Pandorum

Story:

Human numbers has been increasing tremendously and the earth has loss it capability of supporting all the earthlings... So, human as the intelligent creatures, has successfully found a planet (Tanis) which is similar to Earth. Different races, religions, species are send on the spaceship and send to this new planet. While on the journey, something happened~

People from the spaceship discovered that Earth is gone and destroyed forever. So they goes crazy and started to killed each other on the ship. While for those who are in hibernation, they woke up in pandorum and was shocked to discover that there were some man-eating mutants living in the spaceship with them. Just wake up from their long sleep, Bower the flight enginner and Payton the leutenant explored the spaceship and try to reach the ship-reactor so that the ship can be function again. In the midway, Bower got his help from Nadia and Manh to fight with the mutant and try to restart the reactor.

In the end, they found out Payton is the one who started all these fight on the beginning and the spaceship has landed deep inside the ocean of the Tanis. After a big fight with Payton, Bower and Nadia and together with others 1211 humans eject themselves from the cryo and reach the land of the new planet. Mission Accomplish :)

Overall its a great movie, a little bit of scary and sudden shock in the movie :) A big twist and turn of the movie which you might not be able to guess... If you're a fans of star-trek or horror film, this is a good one for you.
