 Story: 

After Fred left, the car workshop is getting less business, Tony & Silver decided to become actors while Ken become their manager. They work for Chow TV which is a low cost station with Ken's nephew Pei as a production manager. They managed to use Ken to tackle Mui and get Mui's new stars (Choo, Fong & Yin) to be in their TV station as well. All these are to beat down another TV station which is incharge by the evil Simon.

The sequence is very good as well comparing to the first movie. One thing is, I never realize Elizabeth Lee is much more famous than Carina Lau during that time. Elizabeth joined the industry in 1987 after winning the runner up in Ms HongKong while Carina has been in the industry since 1982... But of course as time goes by, Carina's acting skill is much more better than Elizabeth; while Elizabeth is marry with a rich man now? Who is more success now? In terms of carrier of course is Carina, but in terms of life & marriage, hands down to Elizabeth :)

 Story: 

Kay has stole away the Diamond of Manila and caused everyone to thought that Black Rose is the one who did it. Kei & Bo are given chance to investigate Black Rose. But both of them use this as an excuse to tackle Zhu instead; in the meantime a silly girl Li keep on come to find Kei to teach her how to suicide everyday.

Just as Kay get nearer and try to get back the Diamond of Manila, it slowly revealed that Li is actually Black Rose while Zhu is White Rose (rival's of Black Rose). In a messy fight, they managed to join forced and killed Kay.

Gosh, I laugh non stop when watch this old movie. It is not the first time I watch this movie, yet it still managed to trigger my laugh button everytime, especially the part where Tony Leung always get himself wounded when he taught Veronica Yip how to suicide :P Both Veronica & Carina hass excellent awesome body; its nice to see the young version of Bowie Lam, such a long time i didn't watch his drama, miss him a lot~

 Story:

Fan has been living in a poor life with his wife Laura, but still he always help the one that is poorer than him which cause his son Yun to be very angry. On an incident when Fan admitted to hospital, Yun accidentally back to the old time where he met the younger Fan & Laura and experienced the lifestyle they have during that time. Finally Yun understands what has make his father the man he is now and he is happy to accept the old Fan when he back to his own period of time...

Beside being a comedy, this movie also talks about the relationship between father & son ; as well as how to treat others in a good way and make everyone appreciate the love in this cold world... A very nice movie which makes no problem for me to rewatch few more times if i'm free :)

 Story:

Hooi is ordered by her father to bring the family old maid to look for a friend. The old maid aunty Fun is actually a lesbian during young time and the movie flash back her life in her younger days.

Fun is being sold by her parents to a rich old man, she escaped and went to a Gu Poh house and join as a Zhi Shu Nv. But the parents follow together with the rich man's servants. Fun almost killed herself but was saved by Huan with huge money. Fun follows the other Zhi Shu Nv to work in a rich man who has eight wife, Huan appeared to be the 8th wife but she was used by her husband as sex tool in expanding his business. 

Feeling disappointing, Huan place her feeling for Fun. Fun in another hand have sex with her first love and accidentally pregnant, To avoid being punished, Fun do abortion by herself. Both of the ladies fed up with guys and decided to do a small business by selling hawker food. Slowly they have build up feeling for each other. But during the world war, they were forced to separate.

Huan is upset and believe that Fun has yet to die, so she changed her name into Fun and taking care of Fun's family. In the end, it reveal that aunty Fun is actually the young Huan, she advice Hooi in her relationship and even save her from a suicide after Hooi broke off with her boyfriend. Finally, Huan (aunty Fun) managed to find back the real Fun and they appreciate each other from now on...

Well, there's not really a lot of lesbian asian movie actually... So this I consider not bad, heard of this movie long time ago but didn't have the chance to watch it till now. Not bad... but of course the young Charlie Yeung during that time is not really good in acting lol~

Gigolo and Whore 鸡鸭恋

 Story:

Hong came from China to to Hong Kong and stay with her cousin sister who is a whore, she met Sam, the most famous gigolo there. To achieve what she wants, Hong request a training from Sam to become the top whore she can be. But Sam remind her that whore and gigolo is not to have any real relationship. 

Hong got a chance to pretend as a personal assistant of Dickson and to cure him from the hurt of his previous relationship. When Dickson cure and Hong got her money and a dream guy. But Sam realize he was deeply in love with this whore and decided to get her.

Both of them later move to Japan and have their own sushi shop.

L² Comment: 

A very simple story and of course this will definitely not able to win both of them including this film any awards at all. Though Simon is famous in this kind of movie that time, but his way of acting this time seems a bit dull... and Carina is a bit too over.

Story:

In Jin Lun city, the empress and her cousin Feng try to grab the empire from the emperor, but the important chop is with the princess. The princess ran to seek help from her master, the master send Dong to accompany her to get the Jiu Yin Zhen Jin (the great martial arts book).

 

Along the way, they met Yang who was killed by Feng's flying shoe; Shi who followed them because she's in love with Dong; Tong who is a gay man that wanna seek revenge for Yang; Nan who wanna become a God and must reject his marriage with the princess while seek for his true love who has 666 at the chest; Hong who get rejected by Shi and forced Feng to kill him.

 

In the end, Feng get the Jiu Yin Zhen Jin and princess while the rest went to save the princess with the help of the fortune teller. Nobody can defeat Feng until the God Nan came and help them.

This movie has always always been my top 1 favorite comedy ever since i was a kid. Having all these fabulous actors/actresses in one movie is not easy. Especially after watching the serious version a moment ago, i love this movie even more~

 

Ashes of Time 東邪西毒：終極版 2008

 Story: 

In this film, set in ancient times in China, Ouyang Feng, hiring famous bounty hunters. His character is portrayed as a fallen swordsman driven by greed and heartless to both friend and foe. He was perpetually being spiteful of love as his own love history was not nearly so beautiful. His bounty-hunters came and went as was narrated by Ouyang Feng himself as based on the Tung Shu predictions.

In essence, he was a loner with little love, but the bounty hunters that worked for Ouyang Feng, like Blind Swordsman and another of his best fighters, Hong Qigong, discovered the intangible secret of true love while Ouyang retained his attitude towards his fighters and the precious lessons that they have taught. However, the thread that runs through the entire narrative has clearly the spirit of refusal in the sense that one should reject another before he gets to be rejected in the future. To illustrate, nearly every character in this story has resorted to being selfish and malignant in order to prevent being rejected by others, be it in love or in comradeship as their individual hardships have moulded their attitude turning them into heartless and cold individuals in order to survive in the uncompromising desert where the story is set.

It has many moral implications but is less evident since the main character is Ouyang himself and most of the narration would unquestionably be centred on him.

An old movie in 1994 and re-edited by Wong Kar Wai himself after so many years, just because before Leslie's one word before he die "hope this film can go international". So there goes the film to Berlin and many more countries and once again hit the blockbuster...
