 Story:

Sheng lost his wife alone to raise three daughters Dong, Nam , Sai and Bak. One day Sheng told his 3 daughters that he has cancer, the only wish is his three daughters to find boyfriends and able to live happily and get married. Dong found Cheah, a gigolo to be her boyfriend; Nam found Ying, a bad guy who's trying to kill Dong; Sai found Gou, a 27 years old virgin rich guy. Just as three of them thought this is just a show to please their father, but things go wrong and they slowly falling in love with each other instead...

Lol, a funny comedy movie again which is the opposite of "The Romancing Stars"... This time is a female version with 3 famous actresses during that time to be in the lead role whom are Bridget, Maggie & Chingmy. Jimmy Lin is lucky to be the 3 pretty ladies' younger brother instead. Of course there's some part which skip the story a lot, maybe it might be the director's cut, so the whole movie seems like a bit fast forward instead. However, each pair of couples got their main role and stories in here including Richard Ng + Sandra Ng...

 Story:

Fai is a computer company manager has been living a double life eccentric personality. During the day in the company's hard work, a woman with money dismissive; night began to try every possible way to be close to their dreams - a popular television presenter Kitty. Fai not only moved opposite the apartment lived with binoculars to monitor their every move, but with a VCR tracking shot, and all the men with iron bars lessons for Kitty rude or tried to approach her. Fai in their own homes plastered with photos of Kitty, a day to watch her videos and in front of dummies dressed as seemingly speak for her music.

By chance, Fai by colleagues know Kitty and her wealthy boyfriend Charlie. Two loving to Fai jealous, and Fai strange eyes let Kitty played a guard. Charlie and Kitty requent side let Fai no longer tolerate, then the two engaged in a masquerade, Fai finally began to take action. As he says, "we are doomed fate", some mixed with pain and bliss of twisted love destined to unfold between Fai and Kitty....

Yvonne Yung looks damn hot in here, and first time ever, both of Yvonne & Simon were in fully naked when they acted this movie and especially the sex scenes. Yvonne is so well in the rape scene, most probably she's enjoying as well? lol

The very last movie of the "Overheard" franchise film, this is the best among the 3 movies. Even though there's no link among these 3 movies but the actors are basically the same which is Sean, Louis & Daniel. Overall the storyline for this is the best, love the twist and turn of it. Happy to see that most of them are originated from TVB, and now they are strong enough to stand in front of the HK blockbuster and shine for the Hong Kong films :)

Finally finish the whole 3 films of this series. This second movie is not as good as the first but better than the third movie. Overall not bad, 1st & 3rd story freaks me out a bit, but the 2nd story can improve a lot to make this film better~

The storyline is kinda weak in this movie, Athena looks hilarious with the hairstyle and definitely her acting is questionable. Sean maintain his acting skill, May May Ma is actually good but her performance did not help in this movie. Overall I'm not so happy with this film, won't consider to rewatch even i have no other movies...

Haunted Karaoke 猛鬼卡拉OK

 Story:

A gangster has burn down a karaoke center during Chinese Ghost Month and caused 27 innocent people die in the burning. Long called out their spirits to get revenge from the 3 person who cause the fire. Cho & Yik are requested by the spirit to help them or else both of them will be killed just like Lin. To get the gangster head from taking off his amulet, they got Madam Tsui to seduce him and finally the spirits got the chance to attack their enemy and get their hatred free~

Not bad but the storyline is very predictable... Scary point is less compare to other same series of movie, feel like Michael Tao and Wayne Lai take turn to strip naked in underwear lol~ 

Troublesome Night 9 阴阳路9: 命转乾坤

 Story:

Failure in relationship, Ms Lai addicted in gambling at the casino cruise. Pitt is a waiter at there and he introduce his mother Madame Long to Ms Lai on how to become rich. Madame Long promised to help her for 5 times of gambling and will bring her fortune. On the fifth, Ms Lai supposed to lose but surprisingly the dice are not able to announce the result ending Ms Lai won as well. In the end, Ms Lai realize it was her grandmother spirit help her on the 5th game when she passed away on that night.

This is not really that scary but instead teach us not to be so addicted in gambling. Gamble is always not a good thing, but a small one can help to relax and for some fun. But hopefully everyone take note that, please do not gamble like hell~

 Story:

Fatt is a gambler and cause his family to move to a haunted house during night time. He makes a deal with the devil, if the ghost helps him to become rich, he will give everything that he has in half for the ghost. Fatt started to win lottery and getting richer, hence the ghost rape his wife and wanted his son too. To end this, Fatt burn himself to death.

Onn grew up and work as security for Fatt's friend. The building he incharge is the one Fatt died in. Onn met the old lady who kept warn him about this building. Onn told this to his mother, suspecting this might be cause by Fatt, the wife went back to see Fatt. Fatt's spirit ask for his wife's forgiveness and finally left.

Troublesome night series of movie is kinda popular in Hong Kong & mostly all the actors & actresses are from TVB. For thi 5th movie, storyline is consider still ok, but the excitement/horror part can be better actually...

 Story: 

Kei & Chiu solved a vampire case and they were recruited into a special unit with other officers under inspector Wu to destroy the vampire's empire. But during the previous duty, Chiu was slightly bitten by a female vampire.

In the camp to train this new team, Chiu almost transform into a werewolf according to the Witch. 8 of them transform into the 8 Gods to defeat the vampire but a snake blew off their plan. They ran but a lot of them were killed by the vampires including Ms Badluck. In the end they managed to defeat the vampire queen.

L² Comment:

This is one of an early production of Jeffrey Lau regarding the HK Ghost Stories series. Kinda like to watch this old film as you can see a lot of superstar when they are still young such as Jacky Cheong, Sandy Lam & Ricky Hui. But of course overall the storyline is only so so and you can tell that all of these series are the same...

A Simple Life 桃姐

 Story:

 The movie reveals the whole life of Tou Jie who work as a servant for the family Leong. Tou jie is now service her young master Roger who work as a movie director. But Tou jie suffer from shocked and forced to send to hospital. After her hospitalize, she was sent to live in the old folks house. 

The whole movie is about the life of tou Jie living in the old folks home and the way she see how other old people pass away under the care of Ms Choi. In this period, Tou Jie has build and show her reliable and relationship with Roger.

In the end, Tou Jie passed away after having another shock.

The whole movie is still ok, but the pace is a bit slow. The best part will be Deanie's acting, Andy Lau is very good too. Deanie Jie has show us she is good enough to won multiples best actress in a lot of awards~

Story:

The fake empress ran away and gone back to the Shen Lung Society, she took off her mask and reveal her real identity as Lung. Lung received the martial arts from her master. Her martial arts request her to be a virgin, once she has sex with a guy, 80% of her kungfu will be transfer to the guy.

Bao brought Duo back and Duo fell in love with Hua immediately. but Duo betray Bao and caused him to be caught by Ou and her master, Jiu. Lung and Xiong went after them and Xiong quickly tackle Ou who fall for him. Xiong and his father Kwai betray Lung and forced Lung to take a slutty pill. Lung choose Bao to have sex with and pass all her martial arts to him.

Emperor arrange Bao to send Princess Ning to marry with Xiong, but Princess Ning told Bao that she was pregnant. When they reach Wu's house, Princess Ning slice off Xiong's penis. With the help of Lung, Ning & Twins, Bao ran away and discover the secret of "42 Scriptures". Finally, Bao found the treasure but was fought by Fan. Bao used the martial arts that he got from Lung and defeated Fan.

In the end, Bao managed to get Ou with him and together with other wives. Bao chose to leave the place and bid farewell to the emperor and Nan.

This movie hit the 5th place on the Hong Kong 1992 blockbuster. A good result from Stephen Chow & Wang Jing. But out of expectation, Bridget Lin is so funny in this movie, and her hairstyle~ lol... i laugh non stop on it...
