 Story:
Picking up three weeks after the events in Resident Evil: Retribution, Alice awakens in the now-ruined White House, after being betrayed once again by Albert Wesker. While searching for survivors, the Red Queen appears and tells Alice that she must return to the Hive in Raccoon City within 48 hours, where the Umbrella Corporation has developed an airborne antivirus, which will kill every organism infected by the T-virus, before the remainder of humankind is wiped out. When asked why she's betraying her creators, the Red Queen simply says that she will tell Alice once she arrives at The Hive. During flashbacks, it is revealed that Dr. James Marcus, the original founder of the Umbrella Corporation, had a daughter who was dying of premature aging. Marcus, desperate to save her, developed the T-virus as a way to cure all diseases on Earth. After having had his creation taken away from him, Marcus' business partner Dr. Alexander Isaacs tried to convince Marcus to use the T-virus for military purposes. When he refused, Isaacs ordered Wesker to kill Marcus.

On her way to Raccoon City, Alice is captured by Isaacs, long thought to be dead. Isaacs tells her that the one she killed was a clone, and decides to toss her to a horde of zombies trailing his armored vehicle, but Alice escapes via a motorcycle carried within it. Alice later arrives in the now-destroyed Raccoon City and is captured by a group of survivors, consisting of Doc, Abigail, Christian, Cobalt, Razor, and Claire Redfield, who is revealed to be alive after the attack on Arcadia. After learning that a group of armored vehicles and a horde of zombies is coming their way, the group prepares to make their last stand. With the help of Abigail, they manage to defeat the enemy forces, although Cobalt is killed in the process. The group later realizes that a second horde is coming in their direction.

With no defenses left, Alice and the crew decide to get to the Hive entrance, located at the bottom of the atomic bomb crater which destroyed the city. However, Wesker, having taken control of the Hive, releases mutated guard dogs, killing Christian. Upon arriving at the Hive, the Red Queen appears again and explains the reason of her betrayal. It is revealed that someone uploaded a video recording of the Umbrella executives, including Isaacs, formulating a plan to release the T-virus on purpose in order to cleanse the world, save the rich and powerful with cryogenic capsules hidden in the Hive, and later rebuild the world in their image. The Red Queen, although programmed to never hurt an Umbrella employee, was also programmed to value human life, which is why she enlists Alice's help in order to stop Isaacs. The Red Queen also warns Alice about one of the group being a spy for Umbrella.

Upon entering the Hive's air chamber, Wesker activates the power, causing the fan to spin and kill Abigail. In the ventilation ducts, Alice and Razor fall into a trap, pitting them against a BOW. Razor is devoured by the BOW, but Alice kills it. Meanwhile, Claire falls into a glass confinement cell but manages to escape. Alice reunites with Doc, plants bombs in the Hive's core, and comes face to face with the real Dr. Isaacs, only for her and Claire to be captured by Wesker and Doc, who is Umbrella's spy. A cyrogenic capsule opens, containing Alicia Marcus, co-leader of the Umbrella Corporation and daughter of Dr. Marcus. It is revealed that Alice is a clone of Alicia, which explains her lack of memories before she awoke in The Hive. Isaacs also reveals his plans to eliminate Alicia and take over as the sole leader of the Umbrella Corporation. However, as Alicia is still in control, she "fires" Wesker, causing the Red Queen to recognize him as a civilian and crush his legs with a security door. Doc tries to shoot Alice, but his gun is empty - as Alice had deduced his treachery earlier - and he is shot dead by Claire.

Encouraged by Alicia's words, Alice and Claire fight Isaacs, who is genetically enhanced. Alice detonates a grenade in Isaacs' pocket, causing it to severely injure him. Alice retrieves the antivirus and heads outside. As she tries to release the antivirus, Isaacs, still alive, stops her, but the Isaacs who met Alice en route to Raccoon City - yet another one of his clones - arrives and kills him before being devoured by the zombies. With a few seconds to spare, Alice releases the antivirus, killing all the zombies and presumably herself. The bombs planted within the Hive explode, killing Alicia, Wesker, and everyone within it.

Claire later wakes Alice, revealed to be alive. The Red Queen explains that the antivirus merely killed the T-virus within Alice's body, ensuring her survival, and gives Alice an upload of all Alicia's memories of childhood, granting her a fully human existence. Alice drives off on an Umbrella motorcycle, stating that the antivirus could take several years to reach all corners of the globe and until then, her mission isn't over, as several BOWs pursue her.

Though we only able to watch this movie at the big screen near the end of January 2017, this movie has actually being released in Japan on 26th Dec 2016, so I have to indicate the released year as 2016 in my blog here. Same as "Underworld", this series of movie has come to an end for total of 6 installment since 2002, 1 extra movie comparing to Underworld.

Of course Resident Evil is a much more better movie comparing the both, having the game released all these while with the movie has easily boost up the ticket selling worldwide. This finale movie explained the root of the T-Virus and Ali Larter was back as well :) I'm a bit relieved when I didn't see the bitchy Michelle Rodriguez but a bit disappointed of Lee Bing Bing not appearing instead. The producer still consider about the Asian's market and plot in the Korean celebrity Lee Joon Gi in it this time. The whole movie has begin with a good start and brought several peak moment in it, finally ends well. Good Work Milla Jovovich, hope that we will able to see more of her great work coming but not only the Resident Evil series :)

Resident Evil: Extinction

Released Year: 2007
Directed by Russell Mulcahy

Casted by:
Milla Jovovich as Alice
Ali Larter as Claire Redfield
Oded Fehr as Carlos Oliveira
Iain Glen as Dr. Sam Isaacs
Ashanti as Betty
Mike Epps as L.J. Wade
 Story:
Alice wakes up disoriented in a mansion. She wanders through the halls, where she defeats several obstacles, including a laser beam obstacle (from the first film) and a giant blade that falls from the ceiling. However, she is eventually killed by a miniature machine gun. Her body is dumped into a pit filled with hundreds of Alice clones. The camera zooms out to show a shack camouflaging the facility's above-ground entrance - with the rest of the facility located underground, surrounded by a high fence and thousands of zombies.

Despite the best efforts of the bio-tech company Umbrella Corporation to cover up the contamination of The Hive and the release of the T-virus to the surface, going so far as to authorize the bombing of Raccoon City, the T-Virus has spread around the world. As the virus spread, it affected not only humans, but other animals as well, and the environment deteriorated, turning cities into desolate landscapes and the wilderness into wastelands. The real Alice (from whom the clones are made) wanders the wastelands of the Southwestern U.S. She responds to a group asking for help on the radio. It turns out that they are bandits who attempt to rape and kill her, but she manages to kill them all. On her travels, she finds a dead man's diary which states that there is an uninfected area in Alaska.

Meanwhile, Dr. Sam Isaacs, former head of Project Alice and the head of the North American Umbrella facility, operated in Nevada, considers Alice's recapture be a top priority, since she has the ability to bond with the T-virus and not suffer mutation. He tries to persuade the Umbrella board, operating via holograms from the world-wide Umbrella facility, that he can use her blood to develop a permanent cure as well as tame the infected zombies. The new Umbrella chairman Albert Wesker (Jason O'Mara) orders Isaacs to use the clones to create a cure, and he refuses to authorize Alice's recapture until they are informed of her location.

Meanwhile, a convoy of survivors led by Claire Redfield's travels across the country in search of supplies. The convoy includes Raccoon City survivors Carlos Oliveira and L.J., along with new survivors K-Mart, Mikey, Chase and Nurse Betty and others.

While searching a motel for supplies, L.J. is bitten by a zombie, which he keeps secret. The next morning the convoy is attacked by crows that had been feeding on the infected. The crows almost overwhelm the convoy, killing Nurse Betty and Otto and taking out the flamethrower operator, causing the weapon to careen out of control. Alice appears and saves Carlos and the others from a fiery death, using her telekinesis powers to fill the sky with fire, killing the crows. Alice is introduced to Claire and gives her a diary she found. Alice and Carlos convince Claire to take her convoy to Alaska. They agree to go to Las Vegas to search for gasoline and supplies for their trip to Alaska.

Dr. Isaacs' attempts to domesticate the infected have led to a new zombie breed that remembers basic things, such as how to use phones and cameras. Wesker's security officer, Captain Alexander Slater (Matthew Marsden), is adamant about Isaacs' disregard for Umbrella's regulations. Slater does admit that the, "super zombies" (the Crimson Head) would be useful, but reiterates that Isaacs is out of control. Wesker, in private, informs Slater to keep watch on Isaacs' actions, and tells Slater that if Issacs disobeys orders, Slater should fire Isaacs.

Umbrella triangulates Alice's location based on the signal sent out by her telekinesis abilities. Dr. Isaacs has a crate of his new zombies sent to ambush the convoy, against Wesker's specific orders. L.J. succumbs to his infection and bites Carlos. Most of the convoy, including Chase and Mikey, are killed in the ambush. Umbrella tries to shut Alice down remotely, but she breaks free from their programming and continues to fight. She finds Isaacs at the scene, and he becomes infected as he tries to flee. Alice and K-Mart use Isaacs' computer to track the helicopter's flight path, leading them to Umbrella's underground location.

The convoy goes to the site, which is surrounded by zombies. Carlos sacrifices himself by plowing his truck into the zombie mob and blowing them all up, giving Alice and Claire time to load survivors into the helicopter. Alice decides to stay behind. Ordered by Wesker to terminate Isaacs, Slater arrives with a group of commandos, and finds the scientist locked in his lab, injecting himself with massive doses of anti-virus in an attempt to counteract the infection, explaining that the zombies are enhanced and as such, he requires a bigger dosage of the anti-virus; he disobeys Slater's command to stop, since it will only increase his mutation. Isaacs refuses, and Slater reveals that his employment is terminated and shoots him, triggering his mutation into a monstrous Tyrant. Despite retaining his intelligence and thought, Isaacs kills Slater and all the facility employees, but is confined to the lab's lower levels.

Entering the facility, Alice meets a holograph of the Red Queen's sister AI, the White Queen (Madeline Carroll). The White Queen informs Alice that her blood is the cure to the T-Virus, defending the Red Queen's actions as well. She then tells Alice about Dr. Isaacs. Alice agrees to deal with him. On her way to the lab's lower levels, Alice discovers one of her clones, still in development. The clone awakens, but seems to die from shock upon seeing Alice. Alice finds a replica of the mansion she lived in and finds Isaacs, who fights her with equal strength and telekinesis. Finding themselves in a replica of the Hive's laser corridor, Alice awaits the grid's arrival, watching Isaacs getting sliced into cubes. Just as Alice is about to meet the same fate, the system is deactivated by her clone, which has inexplicably revived.

Later, in Tokyo, Japan, Wesker, who is the head of the Tokyo Umbrella facility, informs the rest of the Umbrella chairmen, all holograms, that the North American facility has been lost. Alice's hologram makes an appearance, declaring that she is coming for him, and she's bringing some of her "friends." Standing beside her clone, Alice looks out onto a huge number of pods containing her developing clones.

The beginning of the movie is very mysterious and kinda impressive for me, it draws your attention very fast for those Resident Evil's hardcore fans, as you guys will remember all these scenes were exactly the same from the first movie and why is it like this...?  Of coz after that the huge bunch of zombies attacks are kinda cool but it quickly bores me out a lil bit when they were fighting against the zombies outside...

After tat when the professor tried to control himself from become a zombie and he actually become one was so cool :) i thought he will appeared in more scenes but nope... the bad ass zombie only fights a while and then die, what a big turn off :p

Directed by David R. Ellis

Casted by:
Ali Larter as Clear Rivers
A.J. Cook as Kimberly Corman
Michael Landes as Thomas Burke
David Paetkau as Evan Lewis
James Kirk as Tim Carpenter
Lynda Boyd as Nora Carpenter
 Story
In 2001, one year after the explosion of Flight 180, college student Kimberly Corman heads to Daytona Beach with her friends, Shaina, Dano and Frankie for their spring break in Kimberly's SUV. As she stops on the exit passage to Route 23, Kimberly has a premonition of wood logs falling off from a semi, causing a massive car crash and killing everyone involved.

Aghast and in a huge panic, she stalls her car and prevents lottery winner Evan Lewis, widow Nora Carpenter and her fifteen-year-old son Tim, businesswoman Kat Jennings, stoner Rory Peters, pregnant Isabella Hudson, high-school teacher Eugene Dix, and Deputy Marshall Thomas Burke from entering the highway. While Thomas questions Kimberly, the pile-up occurs and Shaina, Dano and Frankie are suddenly killed by a speeding truck, devastating Kimberly, saved by Thomas in the last second.

The survivors are questioned at the police station and informed of the events of the Flight 180. Later on, Evan arrives at his apartment, buying large amounts of jewelry and a computer. When a fire erupts in his apartment, Evan escapes from the building via a fire escape. But a chain reaction causes the ladder on the fire escape to fall and impale his eyes, killing him. Meanwhile, Thomas researches the survivors of Flight 180 and learns Alex Browning was killed by a falling brick to the head while strolling through an alley. Desperate for help, Kimberly visits Clear Rivers, the last survivor of Flight 180, inside her psychiatric ward.

Though Clear initially refuses to help and invites Kimberly to share her isolation, she warns Kimberly to watch out for 'signs' of death. Upon arriving home, she sees herself being attacked by pigeons, and accompanied by Thomas, go to save Nora and Tim. They arrive too late and Tim is crushed by a glass pane at the dentist, devastating Nora. Clear accompanies Kimberly and Thomas to mortician William Bludworth. Bludworth explains the equilibrium of Death and "new life", implying their salvation upon the birth of Isabella's child.

Isabella, accused by the police of driving a stolen van, is taken into custody while the other survivors unite for safety. Overcome by grief, Nora is decapitated by malfunctioning elevator doors. Horrified, Eugene attempts suicide but fails, prompting the group to leave and find Isabella, who meanwhile goes into labor at the police station. The policeman on duty rushes her to the hospital in Isabella's van.

En route, they discover that if it had not been for the flight 180 survivors, they would all be dead; Eugene had to replace the deceased teacher Valerie Newton and his substitute was killed by a crazed student, Kat almost went into a hotel where a gas leak suffocated the staff and guests but went home after witnessing Terry's death, Kimberly was inside the mall distracted by a news piece of Tod's "suicide" attempt and her mother was outside and muggers killed her while in her car, Rory almost went to a club in Paris where the roof collided on the guests and killed everyone but was distracted by Carter's death, and Thomas had to clean up Billy's remains while his partner was on duty, where he was killed in a robbery attempt.

Driving further, the survivors' vehicle nearly collide with Isabella's van as they are driving, prompting them to swerve onto a nearby farm. In the process, the back of the car is penetrated by PVC pipes. Eugene's abdomen is punctured by one of the pipes and Kat narrowly avoids another. As rescuers arrive at the scene, Brian Gibbons, the son of a farm's owner, is nearly killed by a news van, but Rory pulls him back at the last second. The rescuers' Jaws of Life activates Kat's airbag, spearing her head within the pipe and killing her, and dropping her cigarette on a gasoline leak, leading to the news van. This causes the van to explode, sending a barbed wire fence flying through Rory, trisecting him.

As Kimberly, Clear, and Thomas dash to the hospital, Kimberly has another forewarning of Dr. Ellen Kalarjian "strangling" Isabella. Kimberly and Thomas witness Isabella giving birth and are relieved thinking that the new life will wipe Death's slate clean and save them all. However, Kimberly has another vision of a submerging van and Isabella's embargo from Death all along, realizing that Isabella was not on Death's list at all, and that Thomas and Kimberly are still destined to die.

Clear searches for Eugene, accidentally detonating his room from oxygen combustion, which kills Eugene and burns Clear, also completing Death's previous list. Kimberly tackles Thomas from the explosion's debris and realizes her premonitions convey her fate. Although Kimberly immerses a van into a lake for Thomas' sake, she is recovered by Thomas and resuscitated by Kalarjian. Afterwards, Thomas and Kimberly have a picnic with Brian's family and Kimberly's father Michael Corman to celebrate their survival. Learning of Brian's deterrence from Death before when his father tells him that he was almost hit by a van, the group witnesses a barbecue grill blast Brian into pieces, catapulting his burnt arm onto his mother's plate as she screams in horror.

Ali Larter as Clear Rivers
Kerr Smith as Carter Horton
Kristen Cloke as Valerie Lewton
Daniel Roebuck as Agent Weine
Roger Guenveur Smith as Agent Schreck
Chad E. Donella as Tod Waggner
Sean William Scott as Billy Hitchcock
 Story
Alex Browning, a teenager, boards Volée Airlines Flight 180 with his teenage classmates and teachers for their senior trip from New York City to Paris, France. Before the Boeing 747 takes off, Alex has a premonition that the plane will suffer a catastrophic engine failure, causing the plane to explode in mid-air, killing everyone on board. As events from his vision begin to repeat themselves in reality, he panics and attempts to stop the flight, but he is removed from the plane, along with a handful of passengers, including Clear Rivers, best friend Tod Waggner, teacher Valerie Lewton, Alex's rival Carter Horton, Carter's girlfriend Terry Chaney and student Billy Hitchcock. None of the passengers except Clear believe in Alex's premonition until the airplane explodes on take-off, killing the remaining passengers on board. The survivors are interrogated by two FBI agents, who suspect the students were involved in the explosion.

39 days after the explosion, the survivors attend a memorial service for the victims. After the service, a chain reaction causes Tod to accidentally strangle himself in his shower, but the accident is deemed a suicide. As Alex and Clear sneak into the funeral homes to inspect Tod's body, they meet mortician William Bludworth who tells Alex and Clear that Death is reclaiming the lives of those who escaped from the explosion. The next day, Alex and Clear discuss what the mortician informed them in town, where the rest of the survivors (Carter, Terry, Ms. Lewton and Billy) pass by. During the commotion, Terry is suddenly killed by a speeding bus and the mortician's theory is believed to be coming true.

As he watches a news report on the cause of the explosion, Alex concludes that Death is killing the survivors in the same order that they were meant to die in the explosion and finds out Ms. Lewton is next to die. He attempts to go to her to ensure she's safe, but thinking Alex is up to no good, Ms Lewton calls the FBI agents to take him in for questioning. As Alex tries to convince them of what is happening, they ask him to promise to forget all of this, but he frustratedly refuses and leaves. Nonetheless, when he gets back to Ms Lewton's house, he is too late to save her from an accidental kitchen knife impalement or the subsequent explosion of her house. The remaining survivors (Alex, Clear, Carter, and Billy) get together in Carter's car, and Alex explains the situation as they drive through town. During the discussion, Carter fears he is next to die. Frustrated by Terry's death and having no control over his life, Carter attempts suicide by stalling his car on railroad tracks. He changes his mind at the last minute, but gets stuck when his seat belt jams. Alex manages to save him before the train hits the car. However, Billy is decapitated by flying shrapnel from the wreckage.

Alex believes that Carter was supposed to die in the car accident but because Alex saved him, Death skipped Carter and moved on to Billy, who was meant to die after Carter. Alex realizes that Clear is next, because he and Clear had switched seats in his original premonition. He rushes to her aid while being pursued by FBI agents. Meanwhile, Clear is trapped inside her car with a leaking gas tank, surrounded by loose live wires. Alex grabs a wire, allowing Clear to escape before the car explodes, but Alex is incapacitated.

Six months later, Alex, Clear and Carter arrive in Paris and discuss their survival. Alex believes Death skipped Carter and Clear because he saved them, but Alex himself was never skipped. Fearing that their struggle is now unfinished, Alex leaves and narrowly avoids being hit by a bus, which then topples a neon sign. After Carter pushes Alex to safety, Carter asks "so who's next?" The film ends with the neon sign toppled by the bus swinging towards Carter and killing him, implying that Death's plan is still in action.

L² Comment:
For me, this is very very best among the final destination film series. The plane crash came so real and it make me goosebump each time i thought about it when i go on a plane. But the smart part of this movie is that Alex managed to solve the death code and help the rest "temporarily" escape from death. The whole movie come in a good pace and non of the scene is extra i should say...

Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D

Released Year: 2010
Directed by Paul W. S. Anderson

Casted by:
Milla Jovovich as Alice
Ali Larter as Claire Redfield
Wenworth Miller as Chris Redfield
Shawn Roberts as Albert Wesker
Story:
After the events of Resident Evil: Extinction, the Alice clones attempt to kill Albert Wesker at his base in Japan. All the clones are killed in an explosion as Wesker escapes in an aircraft. The original Alice ambushes him, but Wesker injects her with a serum that neutralizes the T-virus in her system, eliminating her superhuman powers and making her human again. Before he can kill her, the aircraft crashes and Alice emerges alone from the wreckage.

Many months later, Alice follows a repeating emergency broadcast from a survivors' safe haven known as "Arcadia". After many fruitless months searching for Arcadia and finding no survivors along the way, including her friends from the previous film (among them Claire Redfield and K-Mart), Alice begins to lose hope, believing herself to be the last surviving human on the planet. Stopping on an abandoned beach, Alice finds the helicopter taken by Claire and the others when they and Alice parted ways in the previous film. A crazed Claire, under the influence of an Umbrella Corporation device attached to her chest, attacks her. Alice removes the device, finding that it has damaged Claire's memory. Claire slowly regains bits and pieces, remembering that Umbrella ambushed their group when they landed on the beach, attaching the devices to them, though she managed to escape.

Flying a two-person plane, they enter the ruins of Los Angeles and find a small group of survivors living in a maximum security prison, surrounded by zombies. They land the plane on the roof and learn that Arcadia is actually a cargo tanker traveling along the coast. Since the plane cannot take more than two, Alice and the survivors try to figure out a means to make it to Arcadia together. The survivors have been keeping watch on a prisoner, Chris, whom they found locked in a maximum security cell when they arrived. He says that he is a soldier who fought the early outbreak, but was locked up by prisoners as a cruel joke when the mission failed and knows a way to reach the coast, and thereby Arcadia, but will not reveal it unless he is released.

They do not believe him, and keep him locked up until the zombies manage to tunnel through the sewer ways and up into the prison; Alice and survivors are out of time to find a means to reach Arcadia so they decide to free him and use his escape route. He recognizes Claire and reveals himself as her brother, though she does not remember him. Chris' proposed method—a stored military vehicle—is legitimate, but the vehicle is not operational and they are left with no other option but to use the zombies' tunnel to escape into the sewers, which empties into the coast. The group fights off many zombies—Alice, Claire, and Chris emerging as the only survivors—and escape into the sewers.

They continue to Arcadia, finding the ship completely functional, but abandoned. Exploring its inner depths, they realize that it is a trap set by Umbrella to lure survivors to the ship to conduct experiments on them. They release the survivors, among them K-Mart, and Alice continues deeper, finding escape helicopters and a purging bomb. Deeper inward, she finds Wesker, who explains that he has been infected by the T-virus, mutating him and granting him super human abilities, but finds it difficult to control. By assimilating Alice—the only individual to bond successfully with the T-virus—he will be able to gain full mastery of the T-virus. Chris, Claire, and Alice battle Wesker, but he escapes into a helicopter and activates the purging bomb to kill everyone aboard Arcadia.

However, he finds that Alice hid the bomb aboard the helicopter and it is destroyed. During the purging bombs explosion Luther is watching from the sewers and a parachute can be scene falling from the sky hinting that Wesker may still be alive.
