Nowadays, the amount of electronic publications which one can find through the web is enormous. This apply also to our little hobby of painting tiny toys with acrylic paints. However, some people still like traditional paper books, especially those full of pretty pictures. Multiple enthusiastic opinions regarding such publications as Forge World Model Masterclass books shows this quite clearly.
Figone, a French miniature company is running Indiegogo campaign to publish a book devoted to miniature painting techniques.
The goals are pretty simple. So, take a look, maybe will find it interesting...

Not just another goblin (a gem!)
Sometimes independent miniature makers are selling figurines so classic that I have no choice, must share :-).
Ladies and gentlemen, Goblin Sorcerer by Brother Vinni... is true old-school wonder, IMO.
While the goblin above is just perfect, this minion of Nurgle is one step too far... Eh, there's only a thin red line between the sane and the mad.

Another Orc Warboss (with a puppy)
Resin Warboss and his squigg are roaming Ukrainian grasslands.
Orc Warboss is a popular subject for wargaming miniatures sculptors, and here you will find another approach to this theme...

Few interesting pictures (no nekkid girls... this time)
Few miniatures which (for some reason) I've never seen before.
I present these pictures found through the net, as they may be interesting for some folks around...

Challenging Kingdom Death! (not really)
Modern and ancient women miniatures in not-so-complete outfit.
Just teasing you, because this figurines are not any challenge for Kingdom Death, or even some particular anime-style miniatures in the contest of incorrectness. Obviously, one can add them to a Tomb King army as a retinue of Queen Khalida, or put on a shelf just to irritate purists...
EDIT: Seems, I found original source of these miniatures, which is Brother Vinni's Miniatures.

Are Custodians still appealing nowadays?
Custodians miniatures were spotted again on EB, but are they still interesting after all those years?
These miniatures are definitely not so new sculpts, but they are of very high quality (IMO) and strongly departing from established aesthetics of power-armored futuristic soldier in so-called heroic scale. The latter gives a value for me, but also produce a problem, how to integrate them in my collection of space marines, heavily biased toward GW production. The weighting factor for purchase decision is their price of 60 USD per 6 dudes...

Something sweet for Christmas
Do you like Titans? If so, check this link and you will not be disappointed...At least, I am really enthusiastic about this kit!
Or, maybe you are looking for custom (and hand-made) gift for Christmas/New Year? Take a look at THIS and THAT charity auctions...
What about such Lord/Obliterator/Demon Prince models? Not so expensive even, at ~20 USD each...

Plastic titans are coming soon!
As all we know, crowd-funding is recently a hot topic in hobby-related business. Thus, I want to drag your attention to one of the most interesting projects up to date, IMO. DreamForge-Games is known from their massive resin kits, Leviathans, which by size and form correspond quite well to Forge World Warhammer 40000 titans.
There are, however, two main problems related directly to the size and construction material (resin), namely, price and limited availability. At ~350 USD (+s&h) these model are not easily affordable for average miniature collector. So, they found elegant solution for both issues by moving the model to plastic! From their Kickstarter project description:

At ~350 USD (+s&h) these model are not easily affordable for average miniature collector. So, they found elegant solution for both issues by moving the model to plastic! From their Kickstarter project description:
"The Leviathan Crusader has made it to the
pre-production phase (mold draft and parting line establishment for metal
tooling) and is ready to become a plastic injected model kit. Not Resin, not Restic,
not some soft plastic hybrid, but injected high impact polystyrene."
"Pledge $89 or more. Ready for Serious Stompin! - An 8 ½ tall plastic model kit of the Leviathan Crusader. That’s ¼ the price of a resin kit and made of injected plastic."
What can I say, at this price it is really exciting offer (IMO), and even with international shipping cost, it's still something I may consider to buy.
Moreover, they are going to produce plastic version of their Stormtroopers. At the moment they got much less supporters than Leviathan, but in a long run they may establish a base for a larger range of miniatures based on some original fluff/universe.
At the moment, this campaign got more than 120% of the initially requested funding and still has 20 days to go! So the plastic titans are reality now. I looking for GW/Forge World response to this challenge (and not by issuing more lawsuits against independent companies).

Zombicide - a boardgame with interesting minis
This game (by Guillotine Games) is not yet released, but already got a success status! At least, judging by a response to its Kickstarter pledge - over 10 times more money collected than minimum needed to fund the project!
But take a look at these miniatures, they are very interesting...
