Ritter Sport Macadamia Nut Perfection

Recently there's been a glut of reduced price Ritter Sport bars in my local shops and market stalls, I'm not sure why but it's certainly nice to be able to buy cheap and great quality chocolate! One product I've been eager to try for a while and finally got the chance to was this Macadamia bar, part of the "Nut Perfection" range from Ritter, with the "queen of nuts" in apline milk chocolate. I'm a bit funny with macadamia nuts, they have been known to make The Hand swell in the past, so needless to say I was a bit wary of trying this bar! Like all Ritter Sport bars it comes in a perfectly shaped square block with the logo imprinted on each piece. The macadamia nuts are abundant throughout; there's fairly large chunks of them amongst the blocks.  And they really dominated the bar! This is a good thing because you have the buttery flavour of the macadamias complimented by the creamy milk chocolate, rather than the other way ...

Aldi Foodie Market Paleo Bars: Macadamia & Coconut

Aldi have launched a new range of snack bars inspired by The Paleo Diet, and not only are they gluten, dairy and refined sugar free they're suitable for vegans and vegetarians too. Making them very suitable for #Veganuary and the flexitarians amongst us! The bars are similar to The Primal Pantry's Paleo bars , only you get 5 bars per multipack for £1.99 - considerably cheaper than what Tesco charge for a multipack of three Primal Pantry bars at £2.99! This variety is made with ingredients like macamadia nuts, dates, coconut, and almond oil and is cold pressed, making it a raw bar too. There's slogans on the wrappers such as "Satisfaction for your inner caveman" and "Snacking like our forefathers"...I'm not sure cavemen really did sit around scoffing bars like this, but let's go with it!
