Blue Birthday Rose

Hello!

Shea here with Glitter and Bonbons to show you the little box that I made as a gift to my daughter for her birthday.  Her actual birthday was last Friday, but we are celebrating it with her brother and my mother this coming weekend.  She turned 25.  Yikes!  How did it happen that my baby is 25 years old?  There must be some mistake...

I do call her my sweet baby girl.

The box is a cut file from the Silhouette store and is quite fun to put together.  I wish I had taken pictures before I put it together, but suffice it to say that there's more to it than just a lid that comes off.

I love the paper.  It's double-sided so the box looks as good inside as it does outside.

The real fun began with the embellishment.  I made a large rose using the Tim Holtz Tattered Flowers die and painted it with CI Paints Sea Foam.  Then, because I believe in gilding the lily, I dusted it with Resplendence Angel Dust.  It is my favorite glitter EVER.  Just look at that sparkle and shine!

Underneath the flower I used a die cut doily that I painted with Ivory and Autumn Wheat then layered ribbon and pearl string on top.

I added a little charm that I made using a bezel, digital paper and CI's one-step resin, Resinesence.

And that is my charming little box that's holding, yes, a cute little Swarovski charm!  The charm box fits perfectly inside.

Thank you for joining me and I hope you'll hop on over to the CI Paints blog and play along on this fortnight's challenge Inspired By: Anything Goes.

Happy crafting!

Fancy Floral Sweetheart Blossoms

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday to all!

Today I am sharing a card I designed using Creative Inspiration Paints, and the beautiful Angel Dust glitter. To start with I used the beautiful Sage CIP's paint on the CottageCutz Fancy Floral's. I think it gives that perfect shimmery touch. I LOVE the look the shimmer gives to my cards.

Next I decided to use the Chocolate CIP's Paint for the Fancy Floral Butterfly Corners, they are another CottageCutz die, and LOVE using the CIP's on these.

For the Butterfly I used the Tutu Pink CIP Paint, and then used the Angel Dust. I love the look it gives to the small butterfly. The sentiment is from Unity Stamps, and All flowers and Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Dp is AC . To complete my card I added some sewing :)

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!'
hugs to all,
Cheryl

Ribbon and Bling Birthday Card

Hi CIP fans! Dana here today sharing a small card for the "Ribbon and Bling" Challenge theme this week. One of my favorite features about Creative Inspirations paints and glitters, is the subtle shimmer. I love that I'm able to create colorful projects with an elegant finish.

I dyed the seam binding with Turquoise Paint. I covered the white flowers on the card with Resplendence Angel Dust Glitter. This glitter is super fine for a fabulous iridescent shimmer. I added a Jeweled Inspiration to the center of my bow for a final pop of bling.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Lacy Box with Shimmer Tag

Hello!

Shea here with Glitter and Bonbons to show you the cute little box and shimmery tag I've made with paints and glitter from the Creative Inspirations store

This is a little candy box which I cut on my Silhouette Cameo out of double-sided designer paper, hence the pattern on the inside.

I painted the tag using Sky Blue and Royal Purple CI Paints, then embossed the edges with Deliquesce Gold Crystal.  I didn't love the look as it was a little more gold than I wanted, so I then covered it with Resplendence Angel Dust.  Perfect!

See the pattern on the inside?  I used the same paper for the rose which I then sprinkled with some more Resplendence Angel Dust.  Sparkly!

Some hot pink flourishes finish things off.  Now to put some chocolates into this little box and surprise someone.

Thank you so much for joining me, and don't forget to pop on over to the Creative Inspirations challenge blog and play along.  This fortnight's challenge is Inspired By: Ribbon and Bling.  See you there, and happy crafting!

Share the Song

Hi CIP followers!  I have a layout from one of my art journals to share with you today.  I doodled the picture, glued her on, and then used some die cuts, along with a fabulous stamp of Music Notes (by Ann Vento/Raindrop Echo Designs at Whimsy Stamps). The paint colors I've used are Antique Copper, Bright Yellow, Canary, Chocolate, and Onyx.  I've also used the Resplendence Angel Dust glitter over the painted flower centers.  Each of these items can be found in the Creative Inspirations Paint store.

Shimmery, Sparkly Wedding

Hello!

Shea here today with a wedding card for my stepdaughter and her soon-to-be husband.  As it's an all white card, and I don't DO white (much less all white), what better reason to add shimmer and sparkle?  Creative Inspirations Paints to the rescue!

Of course I had to emboss a base layer because let's face it, that much solid, smooth white would make me run screaming for the hills.  Heh.

The little birdies were a natural for painting with Winter Frost...

...and the double layer heart-shape twiggy die cut lent itself to some strategic and generous helpings of Resplendence Angel Dust.  Oh my, how it sparkles!

Some teeny, tiny pearls for the eyes and sentiment, and some Jeweled Inspirations (small) on the corners finish things off.

Thank you for joining me, and don't forget to head over to the Creative Inspirations challenge blog.  The current challenge is Anything Goes!

Happy crafting!

Sweet Glitzy Carriage

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with a Sweet little princess card for Creative Inspiration Paints. Today I decided to use LOTS of CIP's Resplendence Angel dust. LOVE this stuff!! Its a MUST HAVE :) I used a ton on the Bella Spring Corners, and the Carriage.

I Love the look of all the shimmer and glitz this gives. Of course I got glitter everywhere in my craft room, even on the CAT! Oh boy, poor baby!!LOL You think after all these years he would learn not to sit underneath me.....LOL oh well...

In the bottom photo its really hard to see any of it. I think due to the angle of the photo. Anyways I had a lot of fun designing this card, and thank you for looking!!!!

I hope you have a wonderful day!!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

Fun Layout

Hello Everyone!!

It's Kendra from Luv 2 Scrap N' Make Cards, wanting to share a fun layout I recently created for my son's album.

The chipboard arrow on the top of the page was covered with Denium Creative Inspirations Paint.
After it dried I used a dot stamp and some Versamark ink to add the dots and embossed with Deliquesce Fine White Embossing Powder.

I just love how it turned out and kind of helps the eye lead you to my son in the picture!!

The heart was also a chipboard piece I covered with polka dot paper.  I used a pencil to dip the eraser end in Fairy Dust Creative Inspirations Paint and then dabbed it on the polka dots on the to give them shimmer as well as a little texture.
Lastly I used a glue pen to trace the "Love" sentiment and add Resplendence Angel Dust Glitter!

I just love my shimmery paints and other CI Products!!

Have a wonderful day!

Kendra

Masculine Thinking of You

Hi CIP fans and followers!  I've stamped this sweet little guy and used the Deliquesce Clear embossing powder to make sure that my water coloring stayed in place.  I've also used the Sky Blue paint to dye the seam binding that's been used for a bow, and added glitter with the Resplendence Angel Dust.  Each of these items can be found in the Creative Inspirations Paint store.
Here is a closer look at the CIP products that I've used:

Inspired By Spring Colors: Fuchsia

Hi CIP fans!  Dana here today sharing a layout that was inspired by the Spring Color theme this week. My family visited Disney for the first time last fall. My girls and I really enjoyed getting some Henna tattoos! We all chose to add colored glitter to our designs before they dried and I wanted to bring that pop of color onto my page.

I added Fuchsia paint to the background of my layout with one of my favorite stencils.

I created this embossed piece with a henna patterned embossing folder. I highlighted the design with ink and a coat of Deliquesce Clear Embossing Powder. I randomly brushed on Fuchsia paint, and before that dried, sprinkled on some Resplendence Angel Dust Glitter.

Thanks for stopping by today!  I hope I have inspired you to use CI products on your layouts!
