WHIPPER SNAPPER CHRISTMAS WHIMSY

Hello! Today, I have three FUN cards to share with you. My dear friend Joy brought her stamp over to me and requested me to design her Christmas card for her. I gave her a time saving tip... one thing I do to save time when making 100+ cards is to make color photo copies of my colored image - then all you have to do is assemble your cards. It isn't quite as wearisome when making that many cards!

Here are a few more details...

Card #1 - This card uses the Monday MOJO Sketch
Stamps: Tangled Reindeer by Whipper Snappers, Circle of Friendship
Paper: Designer Paper -
Accessories: Circle Punches, Chocolate Satin

Card #2 is a take on the Featured Stamper Challenge from SCS on Sunday...

Stamps: Tangled Reindeer by Whipper Snappers
Paper: Whisper White, Riding Hood Red,
Accessories: Red gingham, white organdy, paper snips

Card #3
Stamps: Tangled Reindeer by Whipper Snappers, Circle of Friendship by SU
Paper: Designer Paper -
Accessories: Circle Punches, Chocolate Satin

Wednesday is my weekly weigh in! So I will be checking in and editing this in the morning with my progress! Once again, I know it is sick, but as I write this I have to say I can't wait to get on that scale! I feel so good and my husband is noticing me again! You just can't beat that. :)

Hope you are having a great day! Thank you for looking and commenting. Your comments make me smile. I only wish I had more time to respond to everyone.

Todays Bloggers Challenge is a COLOR CHALLENGE. The colors we are supposed to use are Artichoke, Chocolate, Sage, Sahara Sand - nuetrals
I was monkeying around and decided to use my brayer. I put the Cuddlebug folders through the Big Shot, then used my brayer over the lifted area with the ink pads. I colored the monkey from Whipper Snapper (isn't he cute?) with my Copics....Be sure to click on the icon for the Bloggers Challenge on the RIGHT HAND side of the screen to see everyone elses WONDERFUL work!

It is good to be home and NOT busy. I am having a GREAT week. I have had lots of time to work on my blog and spend extra time snuggling and reading to my gremlins. To actually live here, I could complain, but I know that it would not change my circumstances.

I can always tell when Tax Time is here in my home because that seems to be when things fall apart. While I was away from home this weekend, we had a snow storm and our power went out several times. This brought on power surges - which blew out several of our small appliance things - The things I came home too being broken...

1. 2 Dvd Players (this is bad because we do Video School for the kids with Bob Jones Univ.)

2. One of our Computers

3. Wireless Internet Router

4. Nintendo Wii Player (sad!)

5. one of Television - the one Grace does her school on

Now, as I look at that list - I think WOW those are expensive items to have to replace, but I have to say on the other hand, we are blessed to even have those items. Ultimately they do not belong to us anyways, as all of our possessions were gifts from God. I am not going to stress about all of these things, I am going to trust God that He will provide for us when He deems it time. My flesh wants to run out and go shopping though! LOL

I combined this week's Challenges for the Belli Challenge AND the Copic Colour Challenge

I will start out with the Belli Challenge! In combination of these challenges, I am showcasing a NEW SWEET 'n SASSY STAMPS - BIRTHDAY GREETINGS.

Each one of these Design Teams do such FABULOUS work! I feel privileged to be part of these teams!

BELLI CHALLENGE #27 - BIRTHDAY THEME

What is the Belli Challenge you ask?

Each week, I try to give us a challenge that will use things we have lying around our stamp rooms! With a constant flow of new things coming out, I tend to forget about the other things I have and they quickly become clutter! Come join us in the Belli Challenge and be sure to post your link to this website!

This Weeks Belli Challenge is ANYTHING BIRTHDAY RELATED! You can make Embellish or design MANY different things with a BIRTHDAY theme. There are twizzle sticks, Rub Ons, Stamps, Chipboard, Glitter, Brads, Stickers, Party supplies...the ideas are endless!

Truthfully - this week has held some MAJOR CHANGES in my life and I did not do my original plan! However, I am planning to create another project this week with a BIRTHDAY theme!

Sooo...check your craft boxes and shelves for some BIRTHDAY SUPPLIES. Make a completed project using anything BIRTHDAY RELATED and share the link here in the comments linking to my Blog and CBC27. When you post to Splitcoaststampers or to your Blog, be sure and put CBC27 as the KEYWORD and mention of the challenge - with a link! The winner will recieve an assortment of Designer Paper from me!

Deadline to make a comment with the upload and do the Challenge will be on Monday evening. A random drawing will be held on Tuesday and the winner will be announced on Wednesday!

Here are more details:

I designed this card for a contest, but I never mailed it in by the deadline, even though it was finished weeks before. Anyone want to come over and be my mail person once a week? LOL I really need someone to help with that!

Update on my Snaggle toothed girl lost her tooth last night around midnight and came in giggling. So since the Toothfairy was awake at 2 a.m., she slipped some money under her pillow. :)

I will have an update on the Butterflies later today. We had 3 come out of the cocoon and the one who was coming out...still hasn't, so I am wondering if he will not make it.

You all have a WONDERFUL day! I *hope* to get some stamping in tonight!

Rachel Anne Miller Lily - My Little Friend

Have you seen those cute cards on Splitcoast called the Spring Cards? I started this card and just totally felt uninspired by this paper 2 weeks ago. So I set it aside. Today, I had a little time to stamp, so I decided to finish this project.
