BLOGGERS CHALLENGE #105 ALTERED ITEMS

Hello! This weeks Bloggers Challenge is to ALTER something. The past month I have been working on redecorating my dining room walls. Actually, they have been bare for well over a year. I have not been sure what I was going to do with them. I just knew I wanted family pictures...
These walls are still not complete. I have more family and friend photographs to add, but I am waiting for the right ones to come. I also want to add a Scripture or quote with my Cricut under the tree, but have not figured out WHAT yet!

This picture frame, we bought at Hobby Lobby. They did not have it in Chocolate like I wanted. They only had it in Black. I didn't like it, so we spray painted it with some Chocolate Paint.

I have LOTS more to share this weekend with you! So stop by again! When you are done here, check out the other Blogger Challenge participants. They always amaze me and keep me inspired! Have a great weekend!

WALL VINYL - CRICUT

Ok here is post #2 for the day!

Do you ever do things on a whim? Well, I have been *thinking* about this for months! I even purchased the supplies months ago and they have sat on my desk for that long collecting DUST. If I was smart - I "should" have chosen this for my Belli Challenge, but that would make too much sense! LOL

Today, Shelly popped over so we could take care of some other things and she so graciously offered to help me. I pulled out the vinyl I purchased at Hobby Lobby, grabbed my Cricut - used the Base Camp, Jasmine and the Accent Essentials Fonts and cut the vinyl out for my wall.

My husband then came up with the ingenious idea of using string with a level to make sure I put it on straight rather than draw a line on the walls... He is so smart! The sarcastic part of me would like to say (most of the time) but then the "good wife" part of me will not say that, okay? ***giggle*** ( I just read that to him and he laughed and said, what do you mean by that?) ROFL

This is in the front hallway in our home. When you walk in the front door - there is a coat rack and the stair case leading to upstairs. There is an old fashioned radiator underneath this space.

Our home was built in the year 1867 and I am not gifted in the area of home decor but working on it slowly. LOL

This picture was taken RIGHT in front of it...

This picture was taken from the stair case....

I hope you have a great night! Thank you for stopping by!
