SWEET TREAT FOR YOU...

Hello my friends -
I am ready for a weekend of quiet. I pray I get it. After a day of running children, then company in the evening - I didn't get a chance to create this until this morning (with MANY interuptions at that!) My girls are wanting some extra attention...

Today is Sweet Stop #2 challenge Saturday and here is the sketch...

To play along you will want to link your project up at the Sweet Stop blog!

Here are the details for this project:

Stamp is a Digistamp by Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps (isn't it adorable?), words are from Birthday Greetings available at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps, wheel Petals by SU
Cardstock: Regal Rose, Soft Sky, Basic Grey, Urban Prairie DP
Accessories: Rick Rack, Nestibilities, Brads, Dimensionals, Copics...

Now about those Copics... This week, I am joining another wonderful Copic Team,
Artful Sentiments Copic Challenge 6

Artful Sentiments Copic Challenge Design Team- go here to check out the challenge information...but this is a color challenge, so use these colors!

One last challenge I added to this combo is the Sisterhood of Blogging Stampers Challenge- this is our personal way to share work with one another. This week's challenge, that I am late on is BIRTHDAY cards!!!

It is a beautiful day here in Wisconsin, so I am taking the girls to the park for a picnic lunch then I am home for more stamping projects! Have a wonderful Saturday!

The Sisterhood Challenge - Holiday Greetings

Yesterday was an AWESOME day of quiet time. I went to a home in a country setting on a quiet lake. So the beauty of the day was absolutely glorious. I will share in a different post another day about what I learned about myself...

I came home last night to a BIG BOX of goodies that I ordered, plus some DT things. The Design Team things were NEW stamps that will be released November 1. Can I explain to you how HARD it was not to create a project to share with those today? AHHHHHHH ---almost impossible, but I resisted the temptation.

I will be making a card with those stamps today, but will share EVERY DAY next week! Our Blog HOP starts on Monday, October 27.

Today is my Fabulous Sisterhood of Blogging Stampers Challenge Day! The challenge is a sketch challenge and now that I am posting it to my blog - I see I missed a panel and a portion. So this is my version of I do not follow directions very well. LOL

Today, I am tired of coloring my pointsettias burgundy, pink, red, etc. So I decided to go with a PURPLE POINTSETTIA. That image below was my inspiration.

This was some designer paper that was NEW and available at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps - called EVA from Basic Grey. It is soooo pretty! I love it!

Here are a few more details:
Stamp Sets: Christmas Pointsettia, Holiday Greetings both available at Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps
Cardstock & Ink: Black Brilliance Ink, Copics, EVA Basic Grey DP, Co'oredinations CS (also available at SNSS), Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White
Copics: BV02, V99, BV17, YG95, R81
I used YG95 and R81 to color the beads in the Pretties Kit to match my card...
Accessories: Stickles, Pretties Kit, Grapevine Dew Drops, Mini Glue Dots, Nestibilities, Paper Piercing tool, white ribbon colored with BV17

Thank you for looking! Be sure to check out the other Sisterhood of Blogging Stampers projects with this sketch (on the side panel). They are probably ALL better at following directions! LOL
Have a great day!

I think this turkey is just about one of the cutest things I have seen! Tomorrow is my Stamp Camp and this is one of the projects that we will be making. I wastercolored him using Stampin' Up! waterbased markers and the Aquapainters - on watercolor paper.

Today is also My Sisterhood of Blogging Stampers Challenge day and this week's challenge is FALL/ AUTUMN. Besure to check out the links to their Blogs and fabulous projects! Some may have participated and some may not have...

Ohhh, one more thing! I almost forgot...today is the Featured Stamper Challenge on Splitcoast Stampers and I used this card from Anne Ryan as my inspiration. She is sooo talented! With the Featured Stamper Challenge, we are supposed to change at least 2 things form their cards. I changed a few things...
1. Stamps
2. Cardstock and DP
3. Placement of bottom strip
4. Embellishments
This afternoon, I will be drawing my December Release stamp sets. I can not wait until I get the November Release sets in my hands to share...Just a two more weeks until the BLOG HOP for that Release! Doesn't time fly by fast? WOW!

COMBO OF CHALLENGES AND THE PROMISED TUTORIAL!

Last month, I made a binder similar to this along with a tutorial and promised some PICTURES with the tutorial! Life has been ever so busy and this is the first chance I have had to get one prepared for you! You can see the original HERE.

I actually combined TWO challenges. The Sisterhood of Blogging Sisters has a Sunday challenge each week. This week's challenge was to make anything but a card!

Then...Courtney has a Tuesday Challenge each week and I looked this morning and her challenge this week is...Can you guess? Yes, you guessed it! Anything but a card!

Woohoo! So I was able to do BOTH challenges. LOL

Oh yes...do you recall the request/ challenge Korin gave out this weekend? The one that says STAMPERS CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE?

I made this Scripture book to send to the Judd family AND I will send THIS card to Janessa for the same challenge.

All of these Scriptures, except for one are Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps. The Scripture on the front of the book is by Stampabilities (I think)

I used the Spring Showers that is retired Designer Paper from SU. I also recieved a Cuddle bug die cut (not sure the name) and made the scrolly border.

Here are a few more details:

Stamp Sets: Jesus Cares, Encouragement,
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip, Spring Showers DP
Accessories: Cuddlebug, Dew Drops, Three for You punch, Mini Glue Dots, 2 way glue pen, Alpine Felt ribbon, Dimensionals, Bind it All, Felt Flowers, Pewter Brads, Caramel grosgrain, Scor-pal - or you may use a bone folder or your favorite scoring tool, Floral chipboard, sponge

BLOG HOP - HOLIDAY GREETINGS

Todays Sneak Peek is titled Holiday Greetings and that is exactly what it is! A set filled with wonderful ONE WORD sentiments! I used a few of these sentiments that are featured in different fonts and lined them up on an acrylic block. I put just enough space between them to do a quick little doodle.

I used some of my favorite colors - because today is also my Sisterhood of Blogging Stampers group had the challenge of making something using our FAVORITE THINGS.

Purple is "ONE" of my favorite colors - BLING is another FAVORITE thing of mine and I absolutely LOVE this stamp set and the different fonts. I will get A LOT of use out of it!

Here are a few more details:

Stamp Set: Holiday Greetings (I only used a small portion of the fabulous different fonts and words in this set!), Distressed BG

Cardstock: Brushed Gold, Elegant Eggplant, Lavender Lace, Whisper White

Accessories: Markers - I doodled the trees, crosses, leaves on this then colored them in. Gold Zig painty, Bling, 3/4 and 1/2 inch circle punches, Nestibilities, Gold Ribbon

Be sure to HOP on over to 9/28 : Kathy & Christi's Blogs! Thanks for looking!

Have a fabulous Sunday!

Sisterhood of Blogging Stampers - Group #24

Hello! I recently joined the Sisterhood of the Blogging Stampers 24 and need to introduce myself to my group. For those of you who already know me, this may be a bit redundant or maybe it will be something new.

I am a 39 year old married mother of 4 children, a beautiful, generous 17 yo daughter, an 8 yo handsome Lego Lover son, a vibrant, energetic 7 yo daughter who loves My Little Ponies and a precocious, talkative 4 yo daughter. They are the joy of my life (most days heehee)

I am a stay-at home mom, who Home schools her children. Stamping and scrapbooking are my second passion. I just started Designing stamps for Sweet 'n Sassy Stamps too. My first 2 stamp sets were released September 1!

I have been happily married to a wonderful man named Adam for 14 years. Well, let's be honest... I had about 3 stinker years in there, but we worked through those and are committed to working through the remaining years the Lord has us here on Earth together.

I am actively involved at my church - and over-see the Card Ministry Team at our church. My faith in Jesus Christ is the foundation of my life and everything I do. I would be happy to share more with anyone who wants to know more!

One last cool thing....do you know what is REALLY cool - Sisterhood friends? Anna Banana in our very own Sisterhood Group - through some chatting and sending e-mails back and forth, lives in the same town as I do and we had never met before! *WOW* How cool is that!?

I look forward to getting to know you better - sharing creations, encouraging you in your work and life and recieving whatever you have too!

Have a great day!

I am hoping my request to join this group is approved! This is the latest Sisterhood group that is meant to share ideas on stamping, scrapping and everything else that we create and choose to share!

To my upcoming sisters (*I hope*), I look forward to getting to know you, gaining inspiration and new relationships with you! You can see my Art style but looking through my gallery and more about me through my profile. I look forward to being "official" as Tracy says, and getting to know you! Thank you for the chance to be part of the Sisterhood!
