I know where Moona Lisa is! She is still in San Diego, still beautiful and still has a bird's voice in her 90's. She is at a skilled nursing home in Banker's Hill with my Mom.

I met her yesterday in a nursing home in San Diego! She is beautiful and the sweetest older lady that I have ever met. I don't think she remembers very much but when you ask her about her life, she just says, It is what it is... She is wonderful...:)

As a kid I had always thought she was the sister of Carolyn Jones, Addams Family...but since I can find no mention of that, I assume someone told me that and I believed it.

I cared for Mrs. Clark as a CNA in San Diego. What a privilege it was to assist such a legend.
Her sultry ways entertained my teen year evenings.
My most memorable memory of her is the love affair between her and her husband. Despite her losing battle to demintia her devoted husband was there every day to dine with her for lunch & dinner. He would dote on her, bring her flowers and tell her how beautiful she was.

Is lisa deceased?
When she was on channel 9 KHJ the show started with a cool psychedelic instrumental! Sitar? Flanging on the drums! Is there a title for the music? Is it available for public to buy or can I hear it online? Is there a title for it? Like to know soon while I'm still ALIVE!

Thanks for finding the music used in the beginning of Fright Night hosted by Moona Lisa.. it's called Leo - Lord of Lights. By Zodiac.. when they played it at the beginning of the show there wasn't any vocals. Flanging/phase shifting was used on the drums track. Again, thanks to Village Idiot for finding the song for me!

I saw Moona's Midnight Madness on St. Louis KMOX channel 4 once and only once. I was about 8 or 9 years old during that period ('73-'74). I had no idea who she was, but I was up late watching TV with my dad and Moona was hosting George Pal's War Of The Worlds. I was a big sci-fi & monster movie fan at that young age, and I love that movie to this day. It is one of my dad's (still alive, thankfully) favorites too. He actually saw it in 1953 when it first came out. I loved kicking back and watching that with him. I do remember Moona's host segments, but was not yet sophisticated enough to 'get' her humor. I will always cherish this memory though, as well as the fact that, at that point, it was the latest I had ever stayed up at night before in my life (1:00 am!).

A lengthy video (in an early format) of her hosting sold on eBay just a few years ago. Unfortunately, the buyer does not appear to have it placed anywhere online. How selfish.
