Hawk Rap was the flip side of the 1986 single Morbius Rap , which was made by the host of Saturday Nightmare , Dr. Morbius with The Invisible Band. The song was made in honor of the Iowa Hawkeyes college football team. Dr. Morbius talks about the song with John Campbell in this clip: Hear the full song here:

In 1986, Saturday Nightmare host Dr. Morbius recorded two songs that were released on a 45" record. One song, Hawk Rap , was a rap song about the Iowa Hawkeyes college football team and the other was called Morbius Rap . Both songs were recorded with The Invisible Band .
