Horror Host Hall of Fame 2012

Since 2010, The Horror Host Hall of Fame have been inducting 13 hosts in the hall every year. The 2012 inductees are Elvira, Dr. Cadavarino, Bob Wilkins, The Host, Chilly Billy, Stella, Joe Bob Briggs, Dr. Paul Bearer, Mr. Mephisto, Crematia Mortem, Big Chuck, Little John, and Fritz the Night Owl. A Creature Features Tribute

On March 19, 2011, Lord Blood-Rah hosted his Lord Blood-Rah's Nerve Wrackin' Theatre at the Historic Bal Theatre in San Leandro, California, and this time, instead of hosting a pair of horror movies, he presented a tribute to Creature Features . He was joined on stage by John Stanley and Tom Wyrsch, who discussed both Bob Wilkins and John's time on the show. They also screened the documentary Watch Horror Films, Keep America Strong! and The Bob Wilkins Super Horror Show . Watch highlights of the event here:

The 2002 Cinema Insomnia Halloween Special

The 2002 Cinema Insomnia Halloween Special featured Mr. Lobo interviewing Bob Wilkins, the host of Creature Features . It is now available in a limited edition DVD that includes the original show, a clips from a Halloween edition of Creature Features , and the Murders in 3D . Cinema Insomnia - In Search of Ancient Astronauts

On August 3, 2010, the Slime Line edition DVD of Cinema Insomnia's In Search of Ancient Astronauts episode comes out. In it, Mr. Lobo presents the film, along with movie trailers, vintage commercials, drive-in snack bar ads, an interview with Richard Hatch from Battlestar Galactica , and a classic clip of Bob Wilkins interviewing Anthony Daniels, from Star Wars . Creature Features With Bob Wilkins

Bob Wilkins hosted Creature Features in the San Francisco area of California from 1971 - 1979. Known for his cigar and witty put-downs about the lower quality movies he sometimes showed, he was loved by fans and celebrities. He did enjoy horror movies themselves, even coining his trademark phrase "Watch horror moives, keep America strong." Creature Features was often visited by many celebrities and horror genre icons who stopped in to be interviewed by Bob. He eventually decided to movie on and handed the show over to John Stanley. Watch Horror Films, Keep America Strong is a documentary about California's horror host show Creature Features . Originally hosted by Bob Wilkins and then John Stanley, Creature Features has a long history in the entertainment and the television world.
