Wayne Lai, Raymond Cho, Raymond Wong and Power Chan attended the promotional event for TVB series The Confidant held at a shopping mall. It was announced last week's TV ratings for the series averaged 31 points and peaked 36 points. The cast also tried to pull in more votes for themselves. Raymond Cho expressed he was upset that he didn't get nominated for 'Best Supporting Actor' award, he admitted he was disappointed because he just hoped to participate and not because he wanted the award. TVB plans to add an "Outstanding Actor and Actress" award as a "consolation prize" to comfort those who weren't nominated, then will he attend? Raymond said uninterested: "Even if there are any more new awards, I won't attend. I never thought of taking this award either. If I go and I get nothing, then its the same thing. Let's wait until next year when TVB really does appreciates me!" Raymond said he was initially unhappy because he wasn't nominated at all, but now he has recovered: "I'm an adult, I don't want to go beg for an award back!"

It was said the "Outstanding" award was a consolation prize? Wayne said that's good and suggested the award should be divided by age and gender. Raymond Wong is happy to be nominated for TV King and just treating like he made it on the top 10, that is pretty good. Is he just accompanying the others in the race? Raymond Wong said his opponents are indeed very strong, but TV King is his next goal. When speaking of the goofs seen in The Confidant, such as the Stephen Chow's ex-girlfriend name "Yu Man Fung" appeared as one of the deceased eunuchs and a moving bus. He laughed and said before in Can't Buy Me Love, the tombstones had the director and producer's names; Netizens probably used a 70-inch large HDTV to be able see the bus.

Yesterday morning, Raymond Cho’s wife Elaine Chiang gave birth to a 6 pound 11 ounce baby daughter, whom the couple has named Erin. Towards adding a baby sister to join their 3 year old son Brandon, Raymond commented: “My daughter was in a hurry to come into this world! Within 1 hour of arriving at the hospital, my wife went into labor and the baby was born. Erin is very spirited and cute!”

Through his manager, Raymond notified the Media of his daughter’s birth and also provided pictures of the couple with their newborn. Even though his father-in-law John Chiang is currently not in HK, Raymond expressed that he has already called him to give him the good news. His mother-in-law Maggie Li was ecstatic and arrived at the hospital early to visit her new granddaughter.

Asked whether baby Erin resembles him or his wife, Raymond, who is known for his humorous personality, laughed and responded: “Erin is very exquisite and cute, but she doesn’t like look me nor Elaine at all – the only thing in common is that she is ‘female’, just like her mother! To earn more ‘milk money’, I will definitely work even harder – any interested advertisers can contact me anytime! Also, any potential ‘suitors’ for my daughter should mail copies of their bank account statements to TVB City for my consideration! Haha!”

Raymond also notified everyone of the good news via Weibo, garnering many congratulatory responses from fans as well as friends such as Ada Choi, Kevin Cheng, Charmaine Sheh, Evergreen Mak, etc. Father-in-law John Chiang responded: “Congrats to Raymond and Elaine on the addition of a daughter and congrats to myself for gaining a beautiful granddaughter!” Good friend Ada Choi responded: “Good health is most important. As long as the baby looks like your wife, then that will definitely be excellent, but if she looks like you.......congrats, congrats!”

Declaring that two kids are enough for him, Raymond has stated that he does not plan on having any more children, so when his buddy Kevin Cheng congratulated him on Weibo and also wished him luck in adding a third child soon, Raymond immediately responded: “Hmph….your response is not to my satisfaction! Rewrite it!”

Raymond expressed that he received so many congratulatory messages on Weibo that his fingers went numb trying to respond to everyone. Even though he wasn’t able to respond to every single message, he expressed thanks to all for the well wishes.

Besides Roger Kwok having good news, Raymond Cho also has good news and announced to the media he is going to be a father for the second time too! He admitted that his wife (Elaine Chiang) is over 2 months pregnant. Already have a son, Raymond frankly said it was unexpected and that he is not as excited as with the first child. He smiled: "Now that we use less milk, have to go back and work hard in earning more milk money again! Plus, we just moved to a new house, so will see what we can do to make more money."

As both Roger and Raymond are fathers for the second time, he said: "Congrats to Roger, that time he said he wanted another child, now there are more companions like Ada Choi, Roger, and Raymond Wong. I will soon be starting a new series with Raymond Wong, we'll have more topics to talk about."

Lucky Roger Kwok becomes a father for the second time, his good friends are all very happy for him. Among them was Bernice Liu who recently co-stars with him TVB new sitcom Show Me The Happy. When she found out about Roger announcing the pregnancy yesterday, she said: "I already know, but don't know the sex of the baby. In fact, my older sister also is pregnant with her second child, it's a boy. My group of friends who have children do share their childcare experiences with me. (When is it your turn?) Huh! I'll just play with other people's babies first, no rush."

Currently in Mainland filming, Gallen Lo was very excited to learn of both Roger and Ada Choi's good news. He said: "Of course I congratulate them. (Do you have plans to have a baby?) Planning, my wife and I are working hard!"

Soon to be mother, Ada Choi congratulated Roger through Weibo: "Wah! Congrats, Congrats on being father of two! Thank God! Truly beautiful grace! Hahaha!" Radio host Eileen Cha left a message: "Roger Kwok announced the good news on Cha Duk Chan (radio program), Cindy Au is 2 months pregnant. They will soon be parents for second time! Congrats! Currently lead actor for Show Me The Happy, results in a real happiness!"

The current music scene is pretty bad with many "one album singers". Leaving the industry, but is unwilling to, but staying there are no jobs, no hope is seen. Raymond Cho is someone who has been there and experienced the same situation, so he gave up his singing career and changed to become an actor. Back then he struggled, but looking back at it today, he feels fortunate that he decided to become an actor instead. Acting allows him to continue his career in the entertainment circle and also start a family. Currently he enjoys being an actor more than a singer. He tells everyone not to worry about the one path that doesn't work, need to understand that there is a second path, just be willing to do it, eventually there will be success seen.

After the hot Fly With Me ended, When Lane Merges continues with the hot broadcast and plus the South Africa special during the World Cup South Africa, everyone can see Raymond Cho's appearance. In Fly With Me, Raymond was the third lead actor, playing Frankie Tsui Wing Fai, but after the series ended its broadcast, leaving the deepest impression on viewers is not lead actor Moses Chan, but is third lead actor Raymond Cho, the one standing out is him. TVB also knows this, so immediately sent him to do the South Africa World Cup special to relax a bit. He said with a slight smile: "It is considered a reward, at that time I had free time, pretty lucky!" In another perspective, does this mean that Raymond finally have some status in TVB? "Well it's not that special. Having series broadcast is beneficial to anyone's popularity. There are times that I don't have any series to film."

Does he feel he made an achievement playing the role Frankie Tsui Wing Fai? "I really like the series, it has a fresh feeling. When we were filming, we all also felt that the role Frankie will be stand out. We had high expectations because personalities of the characters are extreme. From a simple, honest, obedient boy who gets bullied, to a revengeous strong bullying evil man. However, receiving praises from others of my results, to me is a happy thing. It does not represent that I am good, that is a very exaggerated step. It proves that I can handle a complicated role. In the future, people will have more confidence that I can do well. I have been in this industry over 10 years, finally have an explanation for myself."

Is Raymond director Chik Kei Yee's favorite, before he was in her Healing Hands II as Heung Chung Yan and then Fly With Me as Tsui Wing Fai. "Perhaps my appearance looks a little stupid, the director chooses me to play these types of roles." In When Lane Merges, his role is the simple taxi driver who is married, once again the acting style is done differently. For this role, he can act it out comfortably because he also has a wife and son in reality, so it's easy to get into character. Some actors would think that being the lead actor in one series and then a supporting role in another series, feels like they got demoted, and it doesn't feel good inside. However for Raymond, he always has a positive attitude, he does not care about the screen time, just that there is an opportunity to be in the series because he has experienced a period where he had no jobs, so he especially cherishes every opportunity.

Raymond Cho Wing Lim and Mok Ho Yan attended an event held by the Society for Abandoned Animals (SAA) with their children in Yuen Long. Raymond and Ho Yan were present for the grand opening of the animal medical centers. Raymond’s son, Brandon, and Ho Yan’s one-year-old daughter, clasped their hands and played together. From the event, Raymond hoped that Brandon can learn how to love animals.

Entering his “terrible-two’s” stage, Brandon has presented troubles recently. Raymond’s one-year-old Shih Tzu dog recently bit Brandon near the corner of his eye. Apparently, Brandon may have instigated the dog first, tempting it to attack in defense. Also when Raymond was trying to remove the mucous in Brandon’s nose earlier, he accidentally caused his son’s nose to bleed.

Earlier, Raymond revealed that the two-year and five-month-old Brandon has already attended school for half a year. As for Brandon’s talents, Raymond said that he has great public relations skills. Each time Brandon spotted family members, he would go to kiss and cuddle them. Asked whether Raymond wished his son to enter the entertainment industry, Raymond said, “I do not want him to. Let’s wait for him to finish school first.”

Raymond also joked that he often let his son watch his television series. When Brandon saw Raymond sharing intimate scenes with other women onscreen, Brandon will pat his mother, Elaine Chiang (daughter of John Chiang and Lee Lum Lum) and ask her to watch the scenes. Raymond found Brandon’s gestures amusing.

Due to the airing of Fly With Me, Raymond’s popularity has peaked recently. His portrayal of the attentive “Siu Nam Yan” (little man) was endearing and close to his real life personality. Raymond’s subsequent transformation into a villain in Fly With Me also attracted audience’s notice.

Raymond Cho has slapping scenes in series "Fly With Me" and he vented his anger slapping others: "Every slap was real. Viewers watched 5 slaps, but in fact there were more than 20 slaps. Fortunately after I turned evil I slapped many people, too. I felt better." But he joked he doesn't mind being slapped by Ada Choi: "Doesn't mind being slapped by Ada, she kissed me so many times. That period she really did kiss me more than she kisses her husband."

Although "FWM" was accused of copying other works, Raymond said if those elements are good, shouldn't be afraid to be borrowed, and he expressed he's confident in ratings: "The series has so many elements, it's not just copying. At first I was a little disappointed at ratings, but I'm confident. For some series, you just have to wait. We still have about 10-ish episodes, hasn't reach the climax yet." Now hosting children programs, Raymond has no intention to have another baby: "Won't go for another one, one child is already stressful, when I have time I need to focus on my son."
